There is something about all that clicking that just makes it seem like a chore, and I am allergic to chores!!

Needles are no fun at all...especially when they are really long 😢. I don't look at them whenever I have to get a shot. Maybe! But I have to convince myself to give MM another chance first. I didn't even have the time to look at the black friday and cyber monday sales on amazon. I know thriftbooks had a sale too, but I missed out on that as well. At least when I went shopping yesterday I was able to use some coupons I've had sitting around for a few weeks, though one cashier tried telling me I couldn't use one coupon after she scanned it and that it wouldn't go through once she tendered the transaction. It was at Bath and Body and I had a coupon for a free item up to $13.50. I got a body spray that was $14.50 and lip gloss that was $5.50 so I knew the coupon would be used on the lip gloss. I don't know if the cashier just didn't take the time to thoroughly read the coupon or just focused on the $13.50, but the coupon worked and I threw it away once I got home. One thing I thought about buying Black Friday was a Nintendo Switch, but the bundle with Pikachu and Eevee I want has been sold out for awhile. It tasted like regular chicken to me. I didn't get any cheese-it taste, but maybe that because I was eating it with rice covered in soy sauce and honey. It was better than the Doritos cheese wedges though. The weather is supposed to get bad again Thursday here, but Wednesday it's supposed to get up into the 50's. I should have started my list when I was thinking of things I needed, because now I can't remember some of the stuff I was going to write down.....

I hate all needles :( especially the ones for IVs. Those are the worst! I might try again tonight. I need to do some shopping first. I always like to be prepared right out the gate. I hate when cashiers act like that. I have been thinking about getting one, but it wont be for a while. Those dorito things did not look appealing at all :( Hmm then Emily probably wont like them then. I hate when I do that. I tend to blank on a lot of things lately.

CSC: 15 Well... I finally managed to take off a few items from my wishlist with the black friday sale :D Took all year to get a bit more than 1200 CSC with bathhouse. A bit more and I would have missed the sale eh he he... eye not happy.

MM... I've had ups and downs. I think joining near midnight is a mistake... I send a smaller gift (veselini coin), person doesn't send anything for a long time then a crocked popcorn ornament o.O ok... at least something was sent back but come on an ornament box is 2 k... which is what I sent in return & never heard from again lol.

Other times we start small & increase when we see the other person sends something of higher value. Usually, these people join later on in the evening.

But I've only done MM 3 times, 1 last day of last year sending things in a panic trying to get the achievement (best time ever, we swapped a lot of fun stuff). Last night around 9:30 pm and today around 12:30 (the ornament person).

Sigh, got to rest... eye ain't happy with me :S

- unfortunately, I haven't heard anything from either. Her most recent post was back in April of this year. Checked, and I am still an admin of the Empty Tree Gifters group ( is the group owner, of course) and there is nothing there but the group membership list. I'm not around Subeta nearly enough right now to run the group, but would be happy to share the member list with someone if they want to try to do something. Hope you are all well can wishing everyone a happy holiday season.

Doesn't the sale end later on tonight (on the 4th)? I think we have the rest of the day. I still have a little bit of shopping left to do. I always sign up right after midnight so that I have the whole day to send stuff if I need it.

It would take someone organized to run it and that is deff not me :(

If you can make another admin, I could help organize. make it self-run as much as possible less work for us but at least give a place for those to hang out and help with a bit of tips/guidance.

- I really appreciate the offer, but it's not a good self-run activity. It takes a LOT of time to read all the posts and keep the list of trees that need help up to date and most users don't have time to read through the whole thread to try to find folks to help which can quickly become very frustrating as the group filled trees very quickly last year. But if you wanted to start a new help/chat group that might work for what you're thinking about. And maybe will find some time to drop in and say hi and we can ask what she'd like done with the group and as well as it's bank.

It is a lot of work :( that is why I know I can't do it. I would start out good and with good intentions, but I know something would come up or I will get too busy and fall behind.

It can actually be easy to be self-run if there's a few basic rules & codes used. Ask people to use specific code to highlight person needing filling so it's easy to spot on the board, and ask that a person gifts at least 5 trees above them after posting a person to gift.

Creating a new group would be a pain to notify old members as I can't even ping the group to direct them to the new group!

It is a lot to keep up with. You have to keep the list updated and move people around once their tree is full. No clue what you mean by specific code. I don't think old members would need to be notified. I think most people who are interested in this would just naturally gravitate to a new board. Then someone can explain in the first post that things have changed, but the project lives on.

I've never had to have an IV, though here was one time I had a migraine that was so bad I couldn't eat or drink anything and I told my mom to take me to the hospital. I didn't go, but I was miserable. Whenever I have to get a shot or have blood drawn, I always look away from the needle. There are some CWs I'm wanting to buy while their still at their Black Friday sale price, but I always worry about buying anything off my wishlist during Lumi. They are the worst. It showed on the card machine that the gloss was going to be the free item, so I mentioned that. Her reply was that she hadn't tendered the transaction yet, but it wouldn't be free after she did because I didn't have an item the coupon could be used on. I can't even give her the excuse of having a long day at work because the store had only been open for half an hour. I want to get the Switch before the end of next year because there is a new Animal Crossing game coming out at the end of next year, unless it gets postponed. There are at least 12 games I would get for the Switch, maybe more if I traded in some of the games that I have for the Wii U and got them on the Switch. It still might be Christmas gift to myself but it will depend on if I get more hours at work or not this month. The dorrito things really weren't that great. The first two I had were fine, but after that it was just too much cheese. I might have the rest of the cheese-it chicken tonight for supper with the leftover rice. This time I'll put it on a seperate plate and try it before I eat my rice to see if it has any flavor. I still haven't remembered what it was I was going to write on the list....guess I don't really need whatever it was. Ever since Chris left for this deployment, I've been forgetting things easily. A friend wanted to go to a $10 concert an hour away and I completely forgot about it and I think there was something else she wanted to do a few months ago that I completely forgot about.

April is the last time I heard from starlesswinter too. I'd love to help out with the board, but I don't know what my work schedule is going to look like for the rest of the month and I'd hate to end up being able to only be online for 30 minutes to an hour every day.

They are terrible! One time I had to have one and the lady must have been learning how to do it because she kept messing it up. She couldn't find a good spot so she kept sticking me. She stuck me at least 5 times in both hands. I was sobbing by this time and told them they just HAD to stop! They had to bring someone in to numb me up before they managed to get it right. I was beyond upset by that point! I was giving birth so unfortunately I couldn't just walk away or I probably would have! At least if you get doubles of something you can sell the extra one. It is better then missing out on something you really want :) Even if the cashier thinks you are wrong they should be nicer about it! Right now Emily is addicted to the new Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Stricker game. I rented it for her but she wants me to buy it. That thing is expensive ($60) and you have to buy extras if you want to play in tournaments or unlock certain characters. I do not like that at all! If I spend that much money on a game I should not have to buy anything else. I am about to make some goulash (no idea how to spell that) and hopefully have that for a couple of days, yeah I am not very organized these days either. I am probably just getting old lol.
