I've been good too, a bit busier in real life but not too bad. Just waiting for events to start up on here again too, it's been quiet. And thanks!

Wasn't able to go to classes today, managed to get part way there when walls started to feel like they were moving like on a ship... so I turned around and headed home. At least I have soup the helper made so I had an early lunch. I'll make some pasta if I'm up to it & have some incredible meatballs she made for supper mmm can't wait erm well I can cuz I'm tired and need a nap soon :P

Hey Sharkies, new tank! :D Haven't been on much because relative visiting, but back now.

I'm also excited for survival. One of my top holidays on here. This time I'm going to start with an old strain so I can wait and see what the new ones are before choosing. 😅 there's never enough time to get all that I want.

Me too :D So many wearables, so little time. I love dollmakers and such. Do you play with any outside of subeta?

Never liked Survival since I hate zombies. Only get viruses to see how many new ones I can get before the event ends. I like Masquerade much better, dressing up in pretty gowns and all the cool new stuff in the steam shop.

I've been MIA for awhile, but I'm still alive. Just getting the house in order (still) and trying to prepare myself for Chris's deployment that's coming up soon.

I'll try to be on a bit more regularly, especially with some holidays coming up.

I usually do the same, get an older one first while I wait to see what the new ones look like. I think I have most of the older ones that I like for now though, I might go with Blistered Hearts (the skeleton one) first this time, but then I'll have to see.

There are a lot that I still don't have, but I try to go for ones that I might actually use at some point.

aahh, blistered hearts was my first zombie skin in 2012, my first survival ^^ I carried it until skins were redeemable. I might go with dolly dreadful first this time. Yeah I'm running out of "usable" skins. I picked up the moth one last year and while I like the colors on it it's extremely hard to dress because of all the lines that go outside the base. 😢

Blistered hearts was one of my first ones too! I didn't keep the skin though, I healed it after the event or something. And then we had the years with the vials and the organ harvesting before we got the VIP thing in 2015 and we could unlock multiple ones.

So I guess Blistered Hearts may have been my only real one in the old system, since I didn't really participate in site events much before 2012.

And yeah, I like the Shark/Carchari skin, but it can be hard to use too with the fins poking out everywhere. I mostly end up using the Boobitis skin like 99% of the time.

Same. I have more redeemed than I thought, but most of them are from that cruise ship event we had a while ago. I just bought those just to have. I have never actually used any of them lol.

The only "dolls" I have are my Star Wars ones and they are action figures!! :P

I like the activities and stuff, but I am not into all the zombies. I was only infected the first year. I skip that part now. I deff prefer Masq too!

Thanks, I have an electric bed, moved up the back and got the laptop so I'm comfortable & not going stir crazy. I managed to cook pasta but almost fell so weak. I was supposed to get food tomorrow, the appointment was a pain to change, now I have to cancel. Some understand while others give attitude so hopefully, my inside guy can smooth things over. No point in risking injury just to get food when I have enough to last me at least a week. Hopefully, I'll be better by then to go to the grocery. I already have a tough time getting around, being sick is worse. At least my bed is changed, I have meals made, and my bathroom is clean.

Survival is one of the events I enjoyed a lot... 2 more days & it will be 1 year that I've been here :)

If they are helping people, they should be understanding. At least you would hope.

Happy early subeta anniversary!

I just got off the phone with my inside guy. He will cancel the appointment and we'll try to see if/when I feel better next week so I can come in. He's smoothed things over with the people that have attitude probs. We're not supposed to get food before 14 days after a visit. I need a regular appointment so I can have my helper cook the food... so not coming creates a mega scheduling issue. There are rules to try and be fair... and then there is the reality of people like myself needing compassion & understanding. I'm honestly ok for at least 1 week of food so hopefully, by next week I'll be able to go. It's 1.5 hrs away, no one can help get food for me, so I really am stuck on my own. Luckily my inside guy will be able to help with the scheduling prob. One thing less to worry about. Uh feel tired but can't sleep.

I'm glad he found something too. He spent two months applying to jobs left and right and only had a few interviews (one for a job that may have had 100% commission but you would get $11/hr if you didn't have commission, one for an at home insurance salesman, and one for a merchandising job that he'd have to drive 4-5 hours round trip for). I wish he would have found this electrical job when we first moved here, even though he has to drive an hour to get to work.

I think I'll be pretty happy with the craft room once I get everything put in place. The only downside is that there is no heat upstairs, so I'll have to keep my space heater up there in the winter. Right now I'm just stuck on what to do next because everything is on the floor from when owners of the house took the shelves in the big closet (then decided they didn't need them so I got them back).

I'm glad too. He was getting tired of sitting around the house all day. Though it did give him time to install some new LED lights for my parents (and for us), so he was able to make a little money to put towards bills, though most of it went towards fuel for his pickup when he had to drive an hour for an interview or 3 hours for a test (postal service job).

I hope you feel better. I've had a sore throat and no appetite for a few days and today I started loosing my voice, but I don't think I'm getting a cold, I think its just from temps fluctuating too much. And happy early Subeta anniversary!

Searching for jobs is the worst! You feel like you have to beg people to give you a chance. I hate it! They took the shelves? I have never bought or sold a house, but it seems like a weird thing to take.

It's funny they took the shelves & then gave them back. I didn't think I had a cold at first since I had muscle aches, tired, bit stuffy nose but figured was due to the bed not being changed. Then Tues night the nose became worse, got a cough. Now the balance is affected worse, difficulty breathing, severe weakness (super difficult to just cook pasta). So, I'm tucked in bed, although I'll have to get out for supper.

Things don't always work out the way or the time you'd like, but you can learn from them & it makes you better in the long run. Maybe he'll be able to come back to the job after and do something he enjoys.

I had thought of doing something special for others for my 1 year anniversary, but I have no idea if I'll be up to it. Do what I can, not what I want & that's the best I can do. It'll be ok, eyes keep closing on me but just can't sleep uh :S

Sep. 9th will be my 12 year Subeta anniversary! Wow time flies by so fast!
