Hi sharkies! Hope everyone is having a merry Lumi so far! I've really missed my time on Subeta. According to my post history it has been a year. Hmm, that doesn't feel correct but at the same time this year has been a blur.

My 92 year old great Aunt that was like a best friend to me passed away in late June. My Mom and I spent almost 4 months before she passed doing our best to care for her which was further complicated by the fact that my Mom and I live 6 hours away (she was in Indiana, we are both in Tennessee). It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but she was an amazing lady and I only wish we could have done more for her. After she passed my Mom and I also had to take care of her estate which thankfully went smooth since she had a clear cut will and the family drama that tried to happen got quickly squashed.

Anyways, not trying to bring the mood of the thread down but that has been a huge part of my time on top of work and family. I've always really enjoyed hanging out with the sharks because you all are amazing and I'd like for that to become a regular thing again. :)

I'm glad my veins are really easy to see and stick out. I've had blood drawn twice and never had an issue. But I have had a doctor yank my arm straight after I showed her my range of motion. I reinjured the elbow I broke when I was a toddler and had limited range of motion. The doctor was a jerk and yanked it straight and now there are times where my elbow catches and I have to straighten it quickly to get it to pop. I just have to remind myself that not every doctor and nurse graduated with all A's and B's, that there are some that barely scraped by. Yes, I decided to go ahead and buy some things from the Cash Shop that are 50%, next I'll go through my wishlist at look at CWs. I bought one of the costume trunks (the Narnia one) so I can get the rest of the male items. I might buy another one so I can get the rest of the female items, just means I'll have duplicates to sell of the things I bought a few years ago. I just always feel bad about selling the duplicate items that were gifted. She should have been, or she should have taken the time to reread the coupon to make sure that she was correct. She never realized that the coupon worked, even when my total was just $1 more than the body spray that I bought. I've heard of that game, but I haven't really looked into it. I hate it when you have to spend extra on games because new games aren't cheap. I started playing Elder Scrolls Online again a couple weeks ago, and if you want any of the DLCs, you either have to buy the collection edition or purchase crowns so you can buy the dlcs from the crown store, along with cosmetic items, pets, and mounts. I'm been trying to buy all the games I want pre-owned before my elite pro card expires in February, because I get 20% off used games until then. My mom and I will be making Huntington Chicken on Thursday, so that will last me for about a week or so, depending on how much I eat at a time. I'm only 26 and normally I'm not this forgetful, but ever since Chris left, if I've been forgetting things almost every day. Sometimes it's just little things like reading the water meter on the 1st or forgetting to ask Chris questions that I think of throughout the day. Other times it's forgetting how to do something at work, which is kind of embarrassing.

Yeah not everyone can be top of their class! Some people are just good at taking tests. Doesn't always mean they are smart! Well you can just tell yourself that you are keeping the gifted ones and selling the ones that you bought :D That is why I like sticking with the Lego type of games, and Kingdom Hearts. You buy they game and that is all you need. I hate spending more. That is why I try to avoid those games. I had no idea that this one would be like that. I renewed Emily's gamestop pro thing because she loves the magazines. The only problem is last month I found one of her magazines under our mailbox. The mail person just stuck it in the "catch all" slot where all the ads go. Anyone could have taken it! Don't they have a vitamin that can help? Ginko something I think. Maybe we should try that.

I tell myself that about vets too, not all of them were top of the class and passed everything with flying colors. Yeah! I should start doing that. I'm ok with buying DLCs every now and then, but most of the time I'll just buy the season pass if its a game that I really like, or I'll buy the deluxe edition. Destiny has microtransactions within the game too. Chris and I bought Silver for that game once during their Christmas event two years ago to try and get all the armor pieces that we wanted. I was the lucky one who got a full set and Chris ended up getting duplicates. Its just like the games that require you to buy all the figures to be able to play with more characters. Oh geez, why do they hire mail people like that. My mailman left a package on my porch when it was snowing and never knocked on the front door, so the package sat outside until I went outside at 4. I know he didn't knock because I checked the cameras. I think tomorrow when I'm grocery shopping, I'll check and see if Gamestop has any of the used games I'm wanting. I didn't really check that well Sunday. I think there are a few vitamins that could help with that, but I'm not very consistent about taking vitamins everyday. I tried the cheez-it chicken again.....still doesn't taste like cheez-its. 😢

Sorry to hear that hugs But I'm glad you were able to squash the family drama. It's not fun. One of my uncles showed his true colors hours after my grandmother's funeral and my dad almost kicked him out of the house. Now he doesn't really talk to us and is trying to do some underhanded things with land he owns with his three brothers.

What is a DLC? I am sort of a gamer. Not a real hardcore one lol. I like to play my cutsie games. My niece is a mail carrier and I know she does a lot better than that thankfully! I am not either. I start out good, but eventually get sidetracked by life and start forgetting to take them. I need to find very tiny pills or gummy ones. Eh then Emily probably wont like it, She loves cheezits. I am not a very big fan myself.

- if it would help any, if someone starts a new group, I can still ping the old group. In fact, I'm not sure if pings are restricted (if they aren't then anyone can ping the old group members by just using the code).

Last year I had tried to ping the old group & it didn't work. I'm working on making a new group but it can take a while: I just got some news last night & I'm having a difficult time coping with it. I have 3/4 ready for the main post but I need to finish before posting. You'll also have to think about what to do for the bank funds as people had contributed. I think it's better with a new group since the format will be different... a little bit more work for those posting (copy & paste) but much easier to organize/run.

My comp died today :( now I am stuck using my daughter's very very slow one :( the lag is horrible on here. Probably wont be around much.

- It stinks when people show their true colors, especially during an already emotional time. When my Dad passed 5 1/2 years ago my half sister flipped out and was yelling in the funeral home - so much that she was kicked out and not allowed to come to the burial. It wasn't totally unexpected.

- Hi and welcome back. I'm so sorry to hear about your great aunt. She was blessed to have someone who cared about her as much as you did. Oh, no. Technology is such a pain. I also feel you on quests. I'm too lazy and get too bored to do them. - Are you all trying to restart the empty tree group? The last few times I did MM, I was underwhelmed. I got all anxious that I wasn't doing enough, and then suddenly the other person ghosted and I was like...what? Now, I just gift on the Lumi boards and on here. I've spent a ton. I realized last year that I enjoyed gifting the big gifts and seeing what others left under my tree, too, so I've been all over the million and over boards.

Will we be doing a Secret Santa on here? I've signed up for a couple of others, and I plan on gifting all who are active posters here, but I LOVE choosing gifts.

For my RL chaos, I don't want to get into it. I've had a partial melt-down & panic attacks. I'm doing better and have a support system in place that's helping me deal with the issues. I just want to try and relax here :)

I turned off my comp last night and went to bed. Everything was fine. I got up today and pushed the button and the little green light turned red and it started beeping at me. I could not get it to do anything at all. I couldn't even get it to turn on so I could see what was wrong. I took it to the geek squad and they guy looked inside and said something about it having a slim server or something and that they don't even have those. I guess the comp is older then I thought. I just hope I can get a new one soon. Sharing a comp is no fun and this one is so slow! I am just glad I can be online at all. Sorry if I missed posting anything to anyone. I am still getting used to this comp. I swear the print and stuff is smaller.

This is like being back on dial up again. I can click on something and walk away for a few minutes and come back to see that it is STILL loading!!! I don't know how she does anything on here.

She does, but she doesn't want to give this one up for some reason. She never lets it update and I swear she will click on anything, She probably has about a billion viruses, but she wont listen to me. What do I know?
