Awe hun, hugs ❤ One time my parents and I were pretty sick for Christmas so we didn't do anything. We celebrated later when we felt better. Just because you can't go doesn't mean you can't do something nice with Emily at home.
It's colder than usual here so we're getting winter early. I don't mind mild winter although when it gets to -15C at night (like tonight) it's time to bundle up. I should heat up Gismo's heat pad tonight to help keep him warm & take a nice warm bath as well then cuddle up with blankets & watch a movie ;)
Thanks Hun hugs
Thankfully no one is sick. Just plans fell through :( The bad part is I now I have to go shopping to get food for tomorrow and the stores are crazy!
I rarely sleep well there, but then I sometimes don't sleep well in hotel rooms either....always have an issue with the pillows. I just need to remember to take my own pillow along with me when I travel and thankfully the pillow I use can be washed. I'd pay out the money and eat crackers for a month, but I don't think hotel prices would be too bad in the late winter/early spring unless we stayed at one of the nicer hotels in town.
Yeah, it's pretty big thanks to me stressing out over something that is months away. I put some stuff on it today, but it didn't help, just ended up with some rashes. I'll have to try the toothpaste tonight and throw a bandaid over it since I tend to toss and turn a lot at night.
My cabinet is 4x2x1/2, has 4 full rows of shelves and 4 half rows on each door. I rearranged movies and had to take some movies out to get everything to fit. I found it at a thrift store and its actually for VHS tapes. I don't know what I'll do with any other movies I get since there isn't any more room. I have a whole shelf dedicated to Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks movies, in alphabetical order. I also made a spreadsheet database to keep track of what movies I have and what movies I want to prevent myself from buying the same movie twice.
I think that's one thing he doesn't understand about being a vet. That and the cost of 8+ years of school. There's a vet in Texas who has a youtube channel for his vet clinic and he shares videos of the dogs and cats that he has helped, including footage of surgeries, but I don't think he's ever really talked about the cost of school or the hardships/downsides of the profession. I wanted to be a vet, but after a year and a half of taking classes towards the pre-vet option, I was stressed out and unhappy because I didn't enjoy the classes I had to take. Once I switched options and was able to take more Animal Science classes, I enjoyed college more.
I hate bundling up for winter too. I always end up feeling crowded and trapped and then I get itchy. I'm not claustrophobic but something about wearing multiple layers in a tight space just doesn't work for me. I also can't stand to wear t-shirts in the summer because I get too hot and feel like I can't move my arms well, so I wear tank tops every day. And I hate shopping in the winter. It's freezing outside but blazing hot in the store and I never have anywhere to put my coat.
I'm sorry plans fell through 😢 I don't have any big plans for tomorrow since Chris is gone, just going to my parents and coming back home while trying to keep crying to a minimum. Already cried tonight while eating supper because it hit me that I'll spend most of the holiday alone.
Hey Sharkies, you know what else starts in December, snowball throwing! I love the icy snowballs so hit me with as many as you want. It will take forever to get that achievement though.

A lot of times you just don't what the beds will be like. I have to bring my own body pillow to prop my leg up on. Can't sleep if I don't. Just let the toothpaste dry before you put the bandaid on it :) My movies started out in order by movie company. It didn't last too long lol. When I decorate for Christmas I cover it with a pretty holiday table cloth and put decorations on top of it. I would hate to find out how much it costs! He would proably be paying off that debt for years, and unless he has major changes in the next couple of years I don't see him being able to stick with it. Yeah I hate feeling too bundled even though I hate freezing! Dealing with coats and stuff in the stores is a pain! I miss the mall having lockers :( pay a quarter and lock up your stuff while you shop. It happens :( just gotta find other ways to spend the day. Sorry to hear that hun hugs
"Your pet transformed into a Glacier Telenine" Well, OK. I've been zapping to get zap minions but this pet is kinda cool. Hmmm

That's true to, some of them are hard as a rock, others stab me with the springs, but I always run into issues with the pillows being either too soft or too hard. I never got to try to toothpaste on the zit last night. Details why at bottom of post. I've got some movies organized by movie company on the shelves, but most of them are by genre. Christmas movies have their own shelf, and my favorites have their own shelf. I have movies organized by movie company in the spreadsheet though, but it doesn't make it easier to find some of the movies if I can't remember who made it. My cabinet closes, but I haven't closed it in months because I've been meaning to watch movies. I've heard that the debt vets have from schooling takes forever to pay off. It can cost up to $250,000 just for 4 years of vet school (depending on where you go). Add another almost $100,000 for undergrad (this depends on the college too, if he goes out of state it's more), which includes tuition, dorm fees, meal plan, etc, he'd be looking at over $300,000. There are scholarships available but its very competitive. I've heard of someone who went to vet school, graduated and worked at a clinic for a year or two, then quit because she didn't want to do that any more. o.O There's money down the drain. I get cold easily, but the cold doesn't bother me as much in the winter, I just tell myself I'm warm and that usually works. But if it's raining or snowing, I'll wear a few layers and be cussing internally about how difficult it is to maneuver. I don't think any stores or malls here have offered lockers for personal belongings while shopping, that would be nice especially if you know you'll be shopping for a few hours. hugs I had a coworker tell me I could go over to her house if I wanted to after I left my parents, but after last night, I think I'll just go home.
So, last night I ended up having an allergic reaction. I guess I started breaking out with a rash on my face at work around 1:30 p.m. but it didn't itch or bother me. I got home around 7:30 p.m. and my forehead itched a bit but I didn't think anything about it. Then at about 9:30 p.m. my back started itching really bad so I checked it around 10. I had huge rashes on my back with large patches of hives. Called my mom, she came over and looked at my back and we went straight to the ER. Checked in at 11:30, took an hour to get vitals and give information. Around 12:30 a.m. they gave me 2 steroid shots, one of them made my hip hurt around the joint, the itching got worse and the rashes spread and started to get bumpy and hot. Hour later, they gave me Pepcid, Benadryl, and shot of another allergy med. The rash still got worse but once the meds kicked in everything went away. I was sent home at 2:30 a.m. with enough medicine to get me through today and a prescription for more as well as an epi-pin pack, which I'll get tomorrow if insurance covers it. I'm thinking something on the grain that came in at work yesterday caused it and I'm leaning towards the crappy looking corn that one farmer brought in. So now I get to figure out what I need to do when handling the grain, leaning towards wearing disposable gloves.
I hope you managed to get everything you needed for groceries without too much chaos.
I got some disappointing news... 2 years of trying to find a way to get government to help pay for braces that are required for a surgery... only to be told a final no. I've become handicapped because of my balance problems that are related to my small jaw. It's unfortunate, but that's life for ya. I did what I could & tried really hard. Anyways... I'll go find a movie & Gismo is already in action having helped me stop crying and now cuddling on me so I'll be ok :)
My family very rarely went anywhere when I was growing up. When we did and had to stay at a hotel my Granny would always ask to see the room before she would pay anything. Mine is totally unorganized. I have a very bad habit of not putting things back where they go. If I am switching out a movie or game and can't find the box it came out of I just stick it in the box for the one I want to put in. I really need to stop doing that lol. I went to watch Transformers last week and it was the turtles movie...oops... Dang that is way too much debt to rack up if it is nothing something you can commit to 100%, and he doesn't seem like the type to put in enough effort for it. That is sad that she went that much into debt for nothing :( she should have known long before then if it was for her or not. I mean did she think it was going to get better, more fun or less work as time went on? Makes no sense. The lockers really came in handy. It was a long time ago. They had a big hallway that was nothing but lockers. All you had to do was pop in a quarter, take your key, and shop without worrying about your stuff. You just had to worry about losing the key lol. Oh dang hun that sounds awful! They didn't know more about what caused it? I would deff go with the gloves from now on.
Yeah I finally did, Had to go to two different stores, but we managed :)
Sorry to hear that Hun hugs all governments seem to stink! There isn't a charity or anything that can help? Have you thought about using gofundme or something like that?
No charities, could cost less if I let students do it but high risk of messing up & it needs to be a good job for surgery to work, not sure I could do gofundme; I'm in Canada. Plus, with the landlord issues, dealing with preparing for a move, getting help with my meal planning, all my regular activities & more... I don't have the mental energy or the actual time to try and get more help. I'm drained & pushed myself to the max so right now it'll have to be put on the back burner. That's life for ya. Anyways... I might skip the movie and just watch a Black Lightning episode instead since I'm tuckered out.
Yeah I am clueless when it comes to laws and stuff in other countries (not that I am too familiar with all of our own laws). There must be someone that can help :( I am trying to think of a site that gives small loans to people around the world. People can go online and give other people small loans to help them out and then they get paid back a little at a time. Not sure exactly how it works.
I don't trust places with small loans. Too many things could go wrong & the point is I'd have to get the money eventually, which isn't possible. I have too many things to deal with at the moment, so I'll have to look into this subject at a later time in my life.
I got woken up in a bizarre way. Around 12:30 (past midnight) I heard the landlord and her husband talking as if right beside the door of my apartment. They live downstairs & have no reason to come up, especially so late. Anyways, I stayed in bed & informed my lawyer this morning. I might have to go see him today as he needs files on a USB key to file them in court. Mmm I haven't even eaten breakfast yet & my eyes are closing on me.
I've gotten to know various laws because I've been in situations where I've had no choice but to learn them.
It must have been a tough & stressful time bringing Emily's dad to court. I'm glad it worked out in your favour.
Watched Deadpool 2 last night, good distraction ;)
OK so I have a glade potion I could throw into the bonfire for a harvest potion except that the glade is selling for 29 million and the harvest is only going for 22 million. Hmmm. What should I do. Do any Sharkies still need pumpkins?

That sounds a little creepy. Were they talking about barging into your apartment or something? Hope you lawyer can come up with some good news for you.
It wasn't easy, and in the end he only made it worse for himself. He ended up starting support owing a years worth of money already. If he had kept his mouth shut and gone with the first offer he would have been better off. He is the one that insisted we go in front of a judge and it bit him in the butt. He thought he could say that he had a step kid to take care of and student loans to pay off and the judge would take pity on him. Wrong! The judge told him that his kid comes first and he should get a second job if he has too. Oh well lol. He should have taken the lower amount and been grateful for it.
I loved Deadpool, but I haven't seen the second one yet. Not something I can watch with Emily in the room!
If you don't need the ach (I think there is one) then I would just buy the harvest potion. Save some money and time. Unless you can catch a pitcher in the TS restock. I missed them :(
The more I think of it, the more I believe they were there for my neighbour. They mentioned -never being there- and he is difficult to get ahold of these days since he's very busy at work and at church. They mentioned something about things in the corridor & that's me... I had canes out since I didn't want to get the floor dirty inside. Anyways, I think it's just a coincidence & I was pretty out of it since I was woken from sleep & I had taken sleeping meds.
Karma sure has a way of bitting people in the backend sometimes :P
edit: Unlocked Burned! Be burned by the Red Rreign!
Unlocked Oracle Helper! She may be able to see the future, but she still needs your help on her quests!
15 Point Wizard Token AND Your pet Poukie gains 6 Defense! AND 3,758sP!
Nice! :D
That's how I got the glade potion, I got the pitcher in the TS restock and used it at the glade to get the glade potion. Just trying to decide what to do with it, whether to bonfire it or not. ;) I'll just be glad when the Black Saturday sale finally starts so I can delete all the events under that tab with Black Friday shop sales reminding me to check the shops I want to look at.

They must have been pretty loud :( They should know better then to disturb their tennants.
Yep sometimes you are better off just taking the first offer and not trying to push your luck!
Congrats on the achs :D
I missed it in all the restocks :( Too busy putting up the dang lights in the two front windows. Stupid tangled lights!!!
I missed the 1st restock yesterday also then just kept checking back every once in a while as I was doing other stuff and was lucky to catch it again. There is stuff in the TS now but no potion or pitcher. I don't like the new cash shop, too confusing and cluttered looking.
