You are very welcome. I'm glad I could help you out. :) <3

Congrats on the great change :)
Yeah it is to make up for our missed trip. At least a little bit. She was always too scared to see the HP movies before, but now she is obsessed with them. We even have a couple of HP ornaments on the tree this year!
My family rarely traveled anywhere as well, funerals or weddings are about the only time we all travel together. My mom and I go to Minnesota a lot to see family but we almost always stay with family. Chris and I stayed at a Hilton Doubletree the first night of our honeymoon and we were very disappointed with the room. The lobby looked amazing but once you got off the elevator onto any floor, it was just very drab and dark. The most important thing about a hotel room for me is that it's none smoking and has never been smoked it.
My movie cabinet is organized for now but I don't know how long that will last. I'm bad about leaving the disc in the PS4 or ejecting it and not completely removing it. I need another shelving unit for my video games. I've completely filled mine and Gamestop no longer sells the shelving unit. I think I have about 10 games stacked on top that I don't have shelf space for.
It is a lot of debt and I'm honestly glad that I didn't go through with trying to stick it out in vet med because I would have been way to stressed out over how to pay off the debt.I would think a person would realize at some point that a certain career is no longer for them. I think in vet school, you have 3 years on campus in classes, during the summers you can intern at vet clinics, and your fourth year is spent working with a vet (I think). So at some point during that, you'd have to realize it's no longer the dream job.
Man, it would be so nice if malls and other stores still had lockers. I hate having to worry about my own things that I stick in the cart.
It was terrible. I guess the reaction started while I was at work and no one really noticed. My mom told the doctor she noticed my face was getting blotchy when she brought a milo sample in in the afternoon, but she never brought it to my attention. The rash and hives got worse before they finally went away, to the point that they spread to my shoulders, chest and neck and made the skin on my face hot and tight. I took the last prednisone pill today (nastiest stuff ever), but I think I also had a small reaction again this morning because I had red blotches on my forehead when I got up this morning and one spot on my collarbone. I have the epi-pen kit, I just need to get a carry bag for it so it's easier take with me. I've had hip pain almost every day since the reaction, so I don't know if that was caused by the shots, the prednisone or doing to much at work right away or a combo of those. The doctor was stumped. He asked if I ate anything new or unusual that day, which was only a honey glazed chicken and rice dish. But I ruled out food since the reaction started in the afternoon. He asked where I worked and what grains we handled. The only other thing I could possibly do would be to take in a sample of the corn, but the suspected corn has already been mixed in with other corn (this was some nasty looking corn, looked like it had absorbed water, freeze dried, and started to turn black inside). It could be the variety of corn (because other corn hadn't bothered me), a chemical that was applied to the field, the corn cob itself, or just a high exposure. Last year I picked ears up ears of corn that were left in the field, and I my arms ended up getting its and a little red, so it could be something on the corn. I'll never really know unless it happens again, but I'm thinking an allergy test may be in order later.
Another stresser today, my military id card (doubles as my insurance card) expires after today. I emailed the contact I have for the NG family assistance center with some questions I had about renewing my card and never got an answer. So I texted another contact today with the same questions. She answered my questions but was less than helpful. I can set up an appointment online, but she never gave me a web address to go to. I need Power of Attorney in order to renew my card, but I don't have the form even though my husband said he filled it out. Then she mentioned a different form that Chris could fill out, but only said it could be found online. I was less than impressed by the assistance I got, I felt it should have been better.
Sidenote: Today I met someone who thought I was still in high school and couldn't believe that I've been out of college for 4 years. And parts have started arriving for my gaming PC that Chris is planning to built for me.
The most important thing about any hotel room is that the people are the only living things in the room. No bugs or anything ahhhhhhh! I have stayed in a few pits and they were just miserable, but the only option we had at the time. Any port in a storm. Our games are either in Emily's Mario bag or scattered around the PS4. I need to get them organized one day. You would think. I can't imagine going through that much schooling just to walk away and start over. Nothing worse then a medical mystery! If you don't know what caused it, then how do you prevent it? Hopefully it can be figured out without it happening again hugs I hate people like that! It is even worse trying to get stuff done during the holiday season. It seems like everything gets hung up because of all the holidays being so close together. Sidenote stuff: Lol at least a little bright spot!
It is freezing here! The mini lake in our parking lot is starting to freeze :( I was afraid that would happen. I was hoping it would manage to drain more by now.
The hotel I stayed in in Texas while visiting Chris on leave had cockroaches and we found them the next morning. I'm just glad that the first one died on the carpet after I had been up to use the bathroom. The second one fell out of the ceiling vent while my husband was brushing his teeth. We didn't bother with switching rooms, because if one room had cockroaches, the rest of the rooms probably did too. I always leave my suitcase on the desk or the other bed, I try not to leave it on the floor, but then I wash everything as soon as I get home. I have mine ordered alphabetically, except for the ones that are stacked on top. Makes it easier to find the game I want unless I have a brain fart and can't remember the title. My PS3 games are on a different shelf unit near the PS3 in a different room. I can't either. I stress over money and expenses too much, so I wouldn't be able to do that. I know that there is a program vet students can apply for that will pay for their tuition/debt of vet school if they work as a livestock vet after graduating, It would be terrible if this person was approved for this program, had her tuition paid for and only worked for a few years before quitting, because someone else would have been more deserving to have been accepted. I seem to be the champion of medical mysteries in terms of allergic reactions. My sophomore year of high school I had a mild allergic reaction all day on a Sunday. I hadn't eaten anything out of the ordinary, but I had been snacking on caramel squares. My throat was a bit swollen by the time I went to bed, and an hour after that my parents took me to the ER where they gave me allergy meds and a shot to help me sleep, but couldn't do anything else. I'll discuss it with Chris but I think an allergy test next year would be a good thing to have done, just to figure out what other things I need to be careful around. I should probably do it as soon as possible, but I'm still recouping from this reaction. I've been so tired every day, but I have a hard time falling asleep at night. Then I'm itchy in the morning. My hips no longer hurt, but my back and neck do (but that could be from getting stressed out at work today). I was very annoyed yesterday after I found out what I need to renew the card. That was stuff that was never mentioned at the Yellow Ribbon event, and I don't think the POA was ever fully explained either, other than on the paperwork is says its geared more towards giving full legal responsibility of children and financials. I was more worried that I wouldn't have access to insurance with my card expired, If I go to the reintegration yellow ribbon event next year, I might bring up the fact that the family assistance center didn't exactly do their best job assisting everyone. They seem to only really care about the families that live in bigger cities (cities that are 2 to 4 hours away from where I live) because that's where all the events have been taking place. Yes, it was a nice little bright spot for my week. We had a blizzard Sunday and everyone's been dealing with trying to clean up the snow and ice. My driveway wasn't too bad until the road grader went through with the snow plow. There wasn't really any snow on my driveway for them to clear and all they really achieved was to make it a muddy mess. Now the roads are getting sloppy as the snow and ice melts. I almost slid off the road on my way home for lunch, so I wasn't in the best mood when I got back to work. We're supposed to get more snow starting either tomorrow or Friday that won't leave until next week.
Hope you feel better :)
Oh man I would have freaked out completely!
You are way more organized then I am lol
Yeah it is a shame that someone missed out on the program because of her :(
Hopefully you can get the medical stuff figured out and your insurance situated (is that a word?). My brain is fuzzy tonight. I am really tired for some reason. The weather is crappy here too, but mostly just freezing. Be careful on those roads. They sound dangerous :( Sorry i am not too chatty tonight.
Ouch :( hopefully they can give you something to take care of it quickly.
Did anyone else get logged out today? I am getting tired of that happening for no reason :(
I didn't get logged out yesterday, but it does happen to me every couple of weeks or so. I'm not sure exactly why it does that, but I think it may have to do with the cache and deleting old data or something. Because it happens to me on other sites as well if I stay logged in for a long time.
I pretty much never log out here unless it forces me to lol.
I stayed logged in all the time too! Then one day I am going about my business and can't do anything because I am logged out :( always makes me nervous.
Hey and Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great day so far!
Bad news: eyelid fully swollen now & can't use anything other than compresses Good news: should be healed within a week
Did you see the doc? Hope you feel better soon :)
Yeah, that's what he told me. Eyes & eyelids are problematic to treat... so I have to wait it out. He explained why ointments, etc. wouldn't work for my particular prob... compresses not too often/day that's it. Minow owe sniffles.
Some times science can do amazing things and some times it can't :( we need more quick cures for irritating things like that. Then again I am just very cranky when I am sick or hurting, so I am sure anyone unlucky enough to be around during those times wishes for a quick cure too!
Ahhh I forgot how to make a blob! Mind just blanked...want fire blob!!!
Edit: Congratulations!
You've successfully morphed Rose Tico into a Blob!
Yay I figured it out :D Now I need a Reborn potion!
Hey guys! Just in case anyone missed it or you don't get Subeta emails or something, there was a new Newsletter that went out this afternoon.
The only new thing it really mentioned is there is some sort of snowman contest that will be coming soon.
Also there's a redemption link for a new free item: https://subeta.net/newsletter/redeem.php?key=NOV17
Thank you for the post!
I hope you feel better! I hate eye infections.
Thanks for the info Hun :)
Will there be a Lumi board for Sharks?
I don't think we usually make one just because there's not as much going on with this holiday except for gift giving, and we can pretty much do that here. :)
Does anyone need fairies to release for the site theme? I already have it, so if you need fairies, ping me and I'll send you some. :)
Also, update your wishlists. I LOVE giving gifts and want to leave something under everyone's tree by the 25th.
