That's odd. I burned a bunch of stuff last night with no problem. Haven't tried today because I don't need to, have the achievements already. I wonder if there will be any new achievements. Kinda hope not, still haven't gotten the last new ones. Edit: just burned a couple more things, no problem. Is it just not taking your items to burn?

If anyone needs food items for the Charity achievement, I'll be able to help out if a new tier isn't added this year.

I've had one bad landlord and that was at an apartment complex. She tried charging my husband and I extra when we moved out because the chairs in our rooms were 'missing' but they were in a roommate's room. He lied about not having the extra chairs and she believed him without asking to check, but she checked later when we told her again where they were because our original roommate wanted extra chairs in his room. I'm glad I have nice landlords, but I will be so much happier when I am living in my own home and can actually change things like the flooring or walls myself without having to ask someone else.

I had the weekend off from work and spent most of it doing laundry, dishes and playing a Elder Scrolls Online. I should probably get back to watching episodes of Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix so I can get caught up again, but once I receive the first season of Forever in the mail tomorrow, I'll start watching that.

Thankfully I didn't hurt myself too much when I fell, I just angered the dislocated rib when I tried to stay upright, so my back was sore for most of the day. Honestly, It could of been a mix of anything with the mud, I just know it was a soupy mess.

It didn't snow this weekend but we've got chances of rain and rain/snow mix later this week. I live in the country and the roads are never cleared right away. My pickup has 4WD so I can get out if I have too, but if the paved roads are slick, it's a little harder to get around.

I only got 2 things from the free shop, I noticed the alert too late and Subeta wasn't cooperating on my phone.

I asked, and he said we are definitely getting a hotel room for that night. But then I found out that his parents practically invited themselves to the homecoming ceremony because they want to take us out to dinner afterwards. So that means that his little brother will be there. I told Chris there will be some rules/requirements/etc for them if they are there, which are that they leave me alone/don't talk to me before I see Chris (because I hate small talk and I don't want to be crying before I've even seen my husband, because I know his mom will cry....the downside to being an empath), his little brother stays quite and tries to act mature for once, I get the first hug and am not rushed to end it, they can take photos but can't force me to be in all of them, and they can't invite anyone else. The last one is something I'm worried about because I don't want them to try and invite the entire extended family to this....I don't need that many people around. Heck, I don't even want them around for the homecoming ceremony because I know his mom will be secretly upset that she isn't getting the first hug or whatever. The last time I had watched Ever After was in high school and I enjoyed it then. I was so glad that I found it at the thrift store and that it was in decent shape because I didn't really want to order it online. I should start watching a movie every night, so I can actually watch the movies that I own. Might have to take a calendar and write down a movie on each day. I would think it would be pretty difficult and would fry my brain or give me a headache because there would be soo many things to visualize in your head...the background, the the way the others are showing emotions, how they sound, etc. I agree, but I don't think any kind of intervention will happen because the in-laws won't really do anything about it. They get on him about his attitude or electronic usage, but when it comes to other things, they don't really do anything. Years ago, he claimed the family dog was his and that when he moved out he was taking the dog with him. He couldn't comprehend that it wasn't free to own a dog so we listed off every expense, like how are you going to pay for food, vet visits, registration fees, etc. Last year was his second year helping his dad with the lawn mowing business. He was helping mow their backyard, which was in the shade. He came inside and said he was done because he was tired and his dad let him quit. My husband and I weren't too happy about it and said in the real world, that wouldn't happen, so he pitched a fit and started crying. 😒 He also is against cussing because mom and dad don't allow it when he's around, it gets to the point that he will announce that you said a bad word.... I've been to Louisiana, New Orleans specifically. It's a beautiful area but the mosquitos are huge o.O

If another tier is added to the Fantine's Pies achievement, I may need more pumpkins, but I finally got the last tier of that achievement today.

I see you're dressed for the occasion :D We've had our first bigger snowfall that's staying. Some are grumbling but I find it helps add light, since the snow reflects the light, helping brighten the darker days ;)

I managed to give the letter to the landlord today. It was unpleasent... even before giving her the letter she's calling me stupid, wasting her tax money, etc. So much for being civilized. I did my best to remain calm and behave in a respectful manner (she didn't). I recorded the whole thing on video on my phone. Hoping lawyer will be able to do something & I told him I don't want to have to interact with her or her aggressive husband again. It might help advance my case so it's seen faster... we'll see. I really hope I get accepted into the residence.

Trying to not let her negativity affect me, although I'm trying to keep a migraine away. I'll go see if I can watch a movie (wasn't working last night) otherwise I'll watch some Black Lightning :D

I'm hoping they don't add any more achievements for this holiday.

I am glad you guys are getting a room, but it is a shame they can't wait at home and let you go to them. Hopefully they can respect the boundaries! You should not have to worry or stress about anything that day hugs I have a bad habit of buying movies that I love, but then never watching them again lol. I find so much to watch online. Geeze he sounds very immature and not ready for the real world at all! I don't know about where you live, but here it is very difficult to find an apartment or house to rent that allows dogs. If they do, you have to pay extra. Huge bugs? count me out. I know the mosquito is the unofficial state "bird" of Michigan (where I live) but at least they are not hugs. It is way too hot there for me anyway. I am a total weather wimp! I do not like extreme cold or heat.

I hate people like that. I avoid drama whenever possible. There is no need for anyone to be that rude to someone! I hope you are able to move soon! hugs

Can't move before May. Lawyer wants to submit video as evidence, but I need to get a USB key (cheap one since I most likely won't get it back), transfer the video & bring it to him (over 1 hr travel). Doable but more stuff to do.

Just because someone behaves inappropriately, you don't have to. I didn't want to degrade myself to her uncivilized level.

Although in Quebec leases are renewed automatically, landlords can increase rent fees. If the fees seem too high, one can object at the rental board. She could increase the rent to an unaffordable amount next year & to stay, I'd have to fight. There's also a law that says they can evict to permit a family member to move in... and they have a daughter that could be used for that purpose. However, they don't seem to be aware of certain laws (including not behaving in a harassing manner). It would also bite them in the behind because it requires paying compensation & moving fees.

So technically I could fight to stay if needed. However, the landlord & husband's behaviours have become very hostile & they live right underneath me. Luckily, I don't see them much.

I'm going to wait to see what happens with the residence (still waiting to be interviewed but they haven't found someone to judge yet). If it doesn't work out, I'll see about finding a new place. My aunt helped me find this one & it took 2.5 months. Don't want that headache, but it'll also depend on how things go with the landlord. Either way, it's not a fun situation to be in. I had moved to try and improve my life... well, we do things with the best of intentions but life doesn't always give us what we want but rather what we need. I don't need the hostility, but it might just be the shove I need to let me find a place I'll be happier with. Trying to stay positive & not let other people's behaviours negatively affect mine.

Today I have someone dropping by that might be able to help me go to the grocery... Gismo will need dry food soon & if we can grab some litter it'll be good too. Tonight I have cooking club & I go to the library beforehand to grab a few movies. Should be a good day ;)

Remember Sharkies this is the time when you can throw a glade potion into the bonfire to make a harvest potion. Except that the glade potion is selling for more than the harvest so unless you already have a glade potion it would be cheaper to buy the harvest potion. ;) Wasn't the black friday sale supposed to start today on Subeta?

Wow that is a crazy law! I can't imagine being able to kick someone out just to give a relative a place. That just seems so wrong. I wouldn't deal with fighting it either. Living that close to them would be a nightmare and deff not worth it. Hope you get to the store and get everything you need :D

they postponed it. I wouldn't have had much time to look at things until then. Try to go to bathhouse on a daily basis as it's one of the rare ways I get CSC & try to purchase during Black Friday to stretch it out as much as I can :D

I know about that law because another similar law is landlord can subdivide or expand a place & same procedures apply for eviction. My last landlord knew the laws well & tried every loophole & intimidation tactic possible. He didn't know who he was up against... I eventually agreed to leave but he had to compensate me a good amount for all the trouble he caused over the years. My current ones, they don't even consult lawyers & basically are digging themselves in a hole. It's just really unpleasant to have to deal with their hostile & aggressive manners.

I was able to go to the store with the person. I managed to get wet food, dry food, and litter for Gismo. He should be good for a few months... my goal is not to have to deal with getting more while there is snow out. For myself, well the budget was pretty tight so I winded up only getting 2 cans of stew... easy meals when I'm not feeling well. I have food in the pantry, freezer, and fridge. Remarkably, some things I have in excess while others I'm low on. There are issues getting to the food bank at the moment (road is blocked). I'll be ok. The budget is tight these days as I must put money aside to move... but I'll manage :)

I hate dealing with any legal stuff. It always makes me a nervous wreck. Even when I am in the right! Like when I had to go after Albert for child support. Going in front of the judge freaked me out and I obviously had done nothing wrong, but I was so paranoid about standing in front of someone who has the power to send me to jail lol. It was funny going into the courtroom though. All the women were dressed nicely (court nice) and the guys were all dressed down trying to look poor! I am glad you managed to get out for supplies. It is never easy to get around in the bad winter weather.

I don't understand why or how some people can be so unpleasant and nasty, what does it get them in life? I've got an uncle who is trying to force my dad and his two other brothers to sell land that all own together, but my uncle hasn't consulted with an attorney at all, while my dad has. I hope your lawyer can work things out quickly and resolve this. Also really hope you do get a spot in the new residence as it sounds like it will be much better. hugs I've got a slight headache from work because it's getting rather stressful. Usually by now all crops (milo, corn, and soybeans) have been harvested, but this year has been so wet that we aren't even half way through harvest. I work at the scale at the local co-op, so I'm weighing in and testing the grain on all the trucks. The elevator is getting full and we can't get grain trucked out fast enough, and to top it off our moisture limit for milo got dropped to 15, making it impossible for a lot of farmers to bring their crops in. I worked at the scale by myself for 3 hours today while my coworker was at the doctor's and I was stressing the whole time about how wet the grain would test and how to deal with an angry farmer that has to take the truck somewhere else. And my coworker was worried about the same thing while she was gone.

I would be fine with no new achievements this holiday too, so I can actually make progress on the others. And if they don't add more tiers to the Charitable achievement, I won't be bummed because I can finally stop stockpiling food.

hugs It will be nice to have a hotel room instead of staying with his parents. When we stay with his parents, we always sleep in his old bedroom which is right below his parents' bedroom so you can hear them moving around upstairs. Having a free place to stay is nice, but not to the extent that I feel uncomfortable. I really hope they (mother-in-law specifically) can respect boundaries. The last thing I need is for Chris to be pulled away by his mother for a hug. I was really hoping that the homecoming would be stress free, but I already have a huge zit on my forehead now that I know they will be there. Now I have to hope that they won't share his homecoming date, because they will need to know as soon as possible so they can get the time off work, but then that could work into my favor. I have a large movie collection that has outgrown the cabinet I use to store them. I think I end up wasting half an hour trying to figure out which movie I want to watch. I think if I wrote movies down on a calendar, that would help me watch them. I've found a lot of shows to watch on Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime, but I never want to sit and watch shows all day. I dislike that Netflix removes movies and tv shows every month, because I've missed out on stuff I wanted to watch. I really wish he would start acting his age. My nephew is a year younger than him and is so much more mature. I live in Kansas and used to live in Manhattan (the little apple). It is very difficult to find rentals that let you have pets. The apartment complex I lived in decided to allow pets, but they had an upfront fee and then a monthly pet fee that you had to pay. Chris and I never had pets when we lived in that town because it was so hard to find a place that allowed pets. And I honestly question how much his little brother understands/comprehends that vets do and that its not spending time with cats and dogs all day. I went to New Orleans in July for a church youth gathering and we had a work day along a bayou one of the days we were there. The mosquitos I saw were about the size of a bee or larger o.O Then there were the venomous snakes that like to hang out in the water that we had to watch out for. I didn't think the heat was too bad, since I'm used to heat and humidity in Kansas, but the quick weather changes caught me off guard. I'm fine with the weather when it matches the season, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. I don't like it when it's freezing cold in the spring or fall, but I can deal with the heat if it comes early. I hate running the air conditioner in the summer because that's too cold for me.

So we have Black Saturday instead. That's OK, I have to work on Friday any way.

I would rather pay out the money and eat baloney for a month then stay somewhere uncomfortable! Huge zit? Have you tried toothpaste? Sometimes it works overnight :) I have a little cabinet but too many movies for it. I ended up buying two racks to go on the sides, and even those are full now. A lot of the movies I have are Disney movies for Emily. He needs to understand that vet work is not all sunshine and roses :( not every animal can be saved. I love fall and spring. I hate bundling up for winter, especially when I have to drive. I fee so bunched up in the car.
