Ah, that is a pretty nice one. Although the price isn't too bad I guess, it's not much more than it would cost if you bought the collection bag with CSC (if you compare the sP price of a 250 CSC card, anyway).

The outfit still looks good though, with the one you used!

Oh man, I am always hoping for a new plot. But even if it's just the general theme for the month and holiday, that's fine with me too. As long as we get some cool new stuff! :P

pops back in Taxes are done and submitted (next year's will be fun...) Sad note, my grandmother's dog, Pepper, was put to sleep yesterday. She was over 14 years old and was pretty spry until this winter.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I hope you start feeling better soon. I've heard the flu is terrible (never had it myself) and people are getting pneumonia soon after getting over the flu. The sore throat I had is mostly gone, only bad in the morning when I wake up. I'm glad you've had people helping you out this week.

It is rather annoying and I've had that issue myself, when applying for jobs. I've been told that you have to call the businesses that you have applied to so they know you are interested in the job. The two previous jobs I had, called me the moment they were interested in interviewing. The one time I called to check where a company was in the hiring process, they made me feel stupid. The next town over is even worse when it comes to hiring people for jobs. It seems very apparent that the business owners or managers only want to hire people from that town. My husband had a business in that town say they were going to offer him a job (the home base for the business is in another state), but the local manager never got in contact with Chris. Chris did get an update on the post office job though. He called them on Monday, just in case he could have a job closer to home. Apparently they are only interviewing the top 5 candidates, and Chris wasn't one of them, but hopefully my sister-in-law was (she applied for the same job). I wasn't too thrilled when they came to get them, had to hide my displeasure. I thought the shelves they were referring to were the bookcase like shelves in another room. I've had the shelves back for over a month now, but I've got so many piles on the floor that I just don't know where to start, since I've finished organizing the fabric.

I hope so. Chris was told that he might get paid more an hour (he gets $14/hr right now), if he seems qualified enough. I've noticed he's happier in the evenings when he gets home, whereas before he was stressed out and got cross easily.

Currently we are renting this house, so we're limited on what we can do to upgrade the house (installing or upgrading lights has so far been fine). I thought the owners had said that they turned off the air upstairs, to save money on propane and electric bills, so there has to be a way to get it turned back on again. Right now, I'm fine with using a space heater upstairs, but I'm hoping some thick curtains will help to keep the cold out (just need to make or buy some).

Ruger is doing fairly well. She's probably tripled in size from that last picture I shared. Her medium jacket just barely fits her, but it isn't long enough, but the large jackets I have are still too long and big for her. She's does really well with some commands, like sit and lay down, still working on stay, and learning shake and roll over(hoping that will help her when she gets "stuck" on her back). When Christ started working last week, it became very obvious that he is her favorite person, but I've noticed she's hyper around him and more reserved around me.

New zombie plot would be great and I am not even a zombie fan!

I need to look for a job as soon as Emily is all finished with school. I am not looking forward to it at all. Ugh too bad you could'nt make them put the shelves back up and redo them! They should not inconvenience someone like that :( how rude!

I love the zombie aspect, it's why Survival is my favorite. I'm looking forward to seeing the new strains we get!

Although at least there is still the L'amour Parlor for more cutesy stuff too ~

So far only Maleria can be hit but I've only tried a couple other NPCs as I haven't had time for others. If anybody finds other NPCs we can hit with snowballs please let us know. Glad the February collection is all green stuff. Since I don't like green I won't be buying any to keep, just to sell. I don't like Survival (because I hate zombies) or the valentine shop (because all they ever have is pastel cutesy stuff). Always glad when it ends so it means Masquerade is coming up.

I'm doing a bit better today. My respiratory system is still frail but it's stable.

I'm hoping at the very least some new alchemy items. It would be nice to have a pretty skin (1st one I got is hives and eh he he won't be using that lol). I'd really like a plot... a year being here and no plot. Events are nice but would be fun for a plot.

Aw - so sorry to hear about Pepper. Nice that she was able to be active for so long.

Hard to be unhappy all day at work. Nice that Chris is enjoying this new job so much more.

Unless they have some sort of separate heating/cooling system for upstairs, what they most likely meant is that they shut off the vents so air doesn't go up there. That should be easy to change if you can find out where the vents are and where the baffles inside them that you can change are located. And since those adjustments are readily reversed too, it shouldn't be a problem for the owners.

Animals can have their favorites. But pets (and kids too) often rough house more with guys than with girls. If you encourage her to get excited and play around you, I'm sure she'll do that. Of course, you may like it that she is more reserved when you are around. And since you will be feeding her while Chris is gone, I'm sure you will be her favorite person soon. :-)

That's why I usually wait until the new strains progress all the way through before deciding if I want to get one of them myself. I go for an older strain that I like as my first one while I wait. I do hope we get some cool new strains this year, even if it's just one that I end up liking I'd be fine with that (like Clusterflux last year which I liked, and am wearing now).

I'm really looking forward to it! Too bad it's still about 2 weeks away, but maybe there will be some excitement before then with a few new items.

Maybe I would be more willing to do his quests lol!
