There are a couple CWs I have on my WL that are private and I can't buy. Annoying.

Job searching is horrible. Chris applied for a job at the post office in the next town over last month and kept calling them at least once a week to see in they were ready for interviews, but they never were (and probably still aren't). I hate that most jobs have you apply online now, just seems like an easier way for you application to get not get noticed. Owners took the shelves because they didn't want to buy more wood to make new shelves. So I had to take everything off the shelves and put it on the floor, in the hallway and in another room. I measured the shelves before they took them so that way Chris and I could replace them, but then they gave them back because they didn't need them after all. It was more annoying than anything else, and has set me back on getting the craft room organized.

I think they had the shelves for about a week, maybe two weeks, then Chris brought them back after he did some wiring for them. We still have a corner shelf for the office we need to bring back. I still don't think I have a cold, but I'm not sure what else I'd really have. The sore throat is mostly gone, I'm just clearing my throat a lot, especially in the morning. I took a 3 hour nap yesterday when I got back home from feeding my horse. I should have taken a nap today before I washed bedding (slept badly last night thanks to the tomato sauce on the pizza I ate) Right now the job is a temp to hire, so he could get hired by the company and no longer have to turn his hours in to the temp agency,however I think he'll stay in the temp position until he leaves for AT. He plans on letting the business know that he would be interested in working there when he gets back from his deployment. It really does seem like he enjoys this job, because he's doing actual electrical work, not just running around fetching things for other people or repairing equipment. Chris is also considering starting his own electrical business sometime after he gets back, he just needs to take the journeyman's test so he can get his license. He's done electrical work for our landlord because the local guy that was going rewire their house never called them back or let them know when he would start, which just delayed when they could move in to that house and when Chris and I could move in the their farmhouse. I missed your anniversary giveaway, very sorry about that. :(

Thanks! I'll try not to be MIA so much. I am glad that Chris has a job, we were both getting tired of him just sitting around the house. He's not getting paid as much as he would like to, but its something for now. We are making progress with the house. The living room looks much better (just need to tidy up a bit). Still need to work on the sitting room and bedroom (mostly getting rid of boxes and piles). Once it warms up, I'll be more comfortable working on the rooms upstairs.

I was a bit bummed out due to being unable to get the dress; however, I had a nice chat with the creator. She didn't release it so it's no longer hers; I find it a bit a shame it's so impossible to get because nothing compares... the movement and colour degradation are splendid. However, it being unobtainable makes it even more special.

I did manage to grab more awesome items in the donation center today. A few highlights: and [item=High Elf Flowing Sleeve (Left Arm)]... just need to get the right and I'll have the set :P

I also had someone come in RL and help me do groceries. I really was overdue, Gismo had almost no food left and I needed a few things to help cope with the flu.

Oh you talked to the artist that drew the dress. I was confused when you said that you talked to the creator and that they didn't release it. I have quite a few items on my WL that I will never own :( all we can do is hope that we can find it in the pawn shop some day. Wow that is a really nice anon gift :)

Yes, artist... the one that created the dress. However, it's a different person that released it. The artist was commissioned. The artist is still on but the one that can sell or have subeta release more is on hiatus for over half a year. I sMailed the person... maybe someday if I'm really lucky; but, until then at least I know it's not possible.

Poukie now has strength 1000 :D She needs less than 200 points to get to t7 so she's progressing nicely.

Eh some times I type things out and I know what I mean, but I worry that it won't "read" the way I intend it too. If that makes sense. Then it nags at me! I never want anyone to think I am being snarky or anything. I never intend it to come across like that.

I've given up on the snowballs. There's no way to get the achievement in less than a couple years unless you have the time to sit & buy/throw 24/7 for weeks. Ugh. I just don't have time. Gotta leave for work in a few minutes. Hope something starts happening soon. I checked the DC and didn't see anything interesting. Guess most of the good stuff is gone.

I'm similar in wondering did I make sense? Even when I try to cut down it still tends to be very wordy. It's just the way I am... like Lady Gaga's song... born this way ;)

It's unfortunate we can't buy snowballs in large batches. I just haven't been able to spend the time on it. DC most of the good stuff was 2 days ago evening and yesterday morning. She did two batches of donations.

Even if we were able to buy snowballs in batches like we could for the snowball fight in the past you still have to find the time to throw them. I had the snowball shop open in a separate tab and would refresh it in between other stuff but finally gave up because I don't have time to throw them.

I gave up on that one a long time ago. Too many snowballs!

We just have to remember that words on the screen don't always translate the way we want them to.

No, Masquerade is still going to be when it usually is in late March. Vesnali got moved to the beginning of May, and then Alegarten is going to be sometime over the summer as a food festival sort of thing.
