Now that they don't care their true colors are showing. I hate people like that! I don't blame you at all. They are lucky you are going to do anything. Especially since they screwed you guys over so badly.
Since you are paying for it they should get it done quickly. It is not like they are doing it as a favor. Kinda sad that they are just selling off all her stuff.
I tried to do it while most people should be at work. I had to use a little kiddie wagon. I wish I could have brought more stuff with us, but at the time we had no car and no help.
We will probably get hit with one more heat wave before it gets cold.
I haven't found anyone yet and I should be getting 2 more in about 6 days.
All I remember from mine is that they couldn't find anything I was allergic too. I can't even remember why they tested me.
Yeah it deff saves money, and now that is even more important then ever before.
I am the same way about things. I want to finish something just to know how it ends, No matter how crappy it is lol.
I have had that happen to me too. It might depend on the reader. Some of them might need to get fixed or something.
I always end up buying new ones every year, but I always buy the cheap ones from Dollar Tree anyway. It is always nice to declutter once in a while. I just never get around to doing it lol. I try to plan as best I can. I just have to get everyone else to cooperate.

I hate making big purchases. I have a bad habit of saving up money for something and then not buying it because I don't want to spend all that money on one item lol.
So it is something that can save games for you like giving you extra space? If Emily gets more games, we are deff going to need something.
Oh dang that is awful :( I feed bad for you!! I am paranoid so I always think about stuff like that. I don't like people touching my stuff. It could be one of the reasons the kid seems to act out so much. I don't really know. He might just be getting coddled too much. Either way he seems to need more of the right attention.
Sounds awful. Probably one of those situations where no one will run against him too. No pets??? That really does stink!
Those car codes are so confusing! I took mine to autozone and they got a code that no one could identify! It would be nice if they did, but most places these days wont do the right thing.

It's awful. Chris and I ask each other almost every day if we can move out yet because we are just tired of being in this house and dealing with them. We're going to buy grass seed tomorrow I think, just to have it on hand already. I doubt anything will grow much since the weather is starting to cool down.
It's also being scheduled by the VA and they aren't very quick about anything. So far, we have everything turned in and signed that needs to be done now. Just waiting on the appraiser and then hopefully soon after that we can sign the final paperwork. I can understand why they are selling most of her stuff. A lot of it was collectibles (dolls, china, Egyptian decor), cookbooks or furniture.
😢 That sucks. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. So far, we have a lot of family members saying that they'll help us move, but we'll find out how many of them were actually serious. I'm going to feel really bad if it's mostly my parents helping.
Had a cold front move in a few days ago, temps dropped down to the mid-40s but the wind chill was in the upper 20s, so it feels like it should be December. We had to turn the furnace back on, but now we're running space heaters since we don't know how much propane is left in the tank.
I really need to finish that game, but I've got other games that are just so much more appealing.
That's what Chris said too, or the reader in the machine is dirty. I just clean the chip on my card prior to using it now and so far I haven't had as many issues. If I get a new card, I might as well wait until after I've moved.
Chris and I go through our clothes a couple times a year to get rid of clothes that we don't wear or don't fit. I need to do a better job of getting rid of clothes, so I'll have to go through mine again. Oh, I can understand that. Chris drags his feet when I tell him it's time to look through stuff to decide what stays and goes. But it always seems like we have a lot of stuff to donate when we move.
I've always been picky, but I've slowly been trying some new things. The price of food is getting crazy. Hiland brand milk was over $5 at Dillon's a few days ago.
I debate with myself about buying expensive things, even if it's something I need like new mud boots. There have been times I've gone back and forth for weeks trying to decide to buy one item.
Yes, the external hard drive should give you more space to download games and games saves too. I would look for one that is compatible with PS4 because it might have an easier setup. I know that Seagate and WD are well-known brands for external hard drives.
Luckily, Chris told them not to come out on Labor Day so I didn't have to deal with them. I don't like people touching my stuff either, which is why I'm hesitant to let anyone help us unpack. Moving boxes is one thing, but I cringe when I think about someone helping unpack the boxes that aren't Chris or myself. Yeah, and I think since he's the youngest, the parenting has just gotten slightly lazier. And the kid grew up with technology, so he'd rather be on the phone or computer than working or being useful.
I don't know if anyone else in town is even interested in running for mayor. The guy is nice, he just does sleazy things sometimes, like sending someone else to buy property when he knows the people won't sell it if they know he's buying it.
O.o Wow, you'd think car people would be familiar with all the codes. New update on my brother's pickup. Seems like all the electrical issues are solved, how a mechanic fails to make sure all ground wires are secure is beyond me. However, Tuesday, all the coolant leaked out and continued to leak out when more was put in. The lady that answers the phone for the auto shop got pissy when my brother told them they needed to pay for a tow truck and she told him she wasn't going to talk to him. So she called my dad and...well...he wasn't too nice to her because my brother gave him a heads up. My dad told her that the pickup has had nothing but issues since the engine was replaced and that falls on the shop, that they failed to make sure all grounds were in good shape and secure, etc. The lady tried blaming Chris for messing with the computer when he only checked the codes and grounds. Long story short, the shop put the old hoses on the new engine and they broke and the lady was slightly embarrassed with how she acted.
I do too. I used to sleep under 5 or 6 blankets year-round when I lived with my parents because I needed to be warm. My dad always joked that that's why I'm so tall.
You're welcome! I hope it turns out really well for you. I made it again last night because it was so good. I would recommend using two packets of gravy mix because the leftovers from the first one were a little dry.
I was going to do my quests today, but with all the issues I ran into yesterday and the continuing lag, I think I'll take a break.

I would probably get rid of any furniture I didn't want, but hang onto the collectibles and things that she really loved. I would just hate to part with them. Probably why my apartment is stuffed full of stuff!
Yeah it is amazing how fast people go poof when you need them to help you move! Suddenly everyone is busy.
It is getting pretty chilly here too. I am really surprised. It might just mean we get a crappy winter. I would rather have a heat wave then freeze.
I hate leaving things unfinished, but if it isn't really fun it just feels like a chore.
Good idea. Especially since you are not sure when you will be moving. You don't want to be expecting important things in the mail. No telling what would happen to it.
I should go through our closet. I need to be more picky and get rid of more stuff.

I just hate the idea of saving for so long and then spending it. Once the money is gone it is gone, I need to get new glasses. That is something I deff need to spend the money on!! It has been way too long.

Well I am sure that made for a more relaxing day. If people want to help me move boxes. then I am more than happy to let them. They can do all the heavy lifting lol. A lot of parents are like that these days. Too many think that if you have more then 1 kid they can raise each other. The older ones get stuck taking care of the younger ones. Tech is everywhere now! You can't escape it.

I thought that too. Kinda freaked me out that code was unknown. Yay :D glad it worked out for him. It sucks that we can't depend on the people who charge us a fortune to "fix" our vehicles for us. Ouch on the leak though. The lady should be embarrassed (sp?) I hate people who act like that. Good thing your Dad got it straightened out, but it should not have taken two people to get it done.
Wow I would have suffocated under that many blankets. It is weird that I love to have my body warm, but I always have a fan blowing cooler air onto my face.
I ended up making a roast. Finally got the meat for buy one get one free! I haven't seen that sale in quite a while.
Looks like Bug fixed a few things in the wardrobe including the CWs look up. But the to inventory button to remove items still isn't working. Looking forward to the next event. Any event. It's been boring. And aren't they supposed to give out the quest prizes this weekend?

I am glad that was finally fixed! Some times I just want to see what CWs I have without having to search through everything! I thought it would be some time this week, but I guess they meant next week. I just want to know if I got the gold border :(
Just got home from work so haven't checked yet, but when I did this morning the To Inventory still wasn't working. There should be a button somewhere to activate it to actually put the item(s) into your inventory.

I'd rather they fix the broken parts of the site before releasing prizes. Especially since I'm not interested in them any way. I would like to see things working before the next event. Yeah, when you click the to inventory button it turns red and that's it, it doesn't do anything else. Seems like there should be a button to do something. Maybe they forgot to add that on.

Could be. There seems to be a lot going on in rl, so it will probably be a while before everything is fixed.
Not much going on this weekend. Just preparing for Remote learning starting Wednesday for my boys. They finally know their teachers and schedules.
Hopefully things will calm down for Bug soon, so the wardrobe gets fixed permanently. It sounds like there is a lot going on behind the scenes with him. He even mentioned Keith taking a leave of absence for a bit too.

I wish I had fun plans. I am going to be spending the weekend cleaning. Tossed a roast in the slow cooker, so thankfully dinner is already taken care of. Emily was homeschooled online all through middle school and high school. We loved it. She did great in school thanks to that. It was good for me too because I didn't have to worry about her. Hopefully you guys will have a great experience with it too! :D
Thankfully our district did pretty well the last few months of the school year. I am hoping it's even better this year.

I just hope that once we move out they don't try to place issues with the house on us (like the cracked window upstairs). We've repaired or replaced what got damaged while we've been here, which has only been patching scratches in the bathroom wall.
Yeah, some of the furniture was nice, but there wasn't anything I needed. I inherited enough glassware from my grandma that I don't really need more and Chris gave a very firm no about the dolls (which is fine, I have two and don't need more). They didn't sell much stuff the first weekend because they didn't have prices on anything but by the second weekend they had most stuff priced. This house is stuffed. I've realized just how much stuff I have as I've been packing it up.
I'm pretty sure Chris's aunt and uncle will help us move and his middle brother might help out if its a weekend. I'm not holding my breath about his parents helping because they've used limited vacation time as an excuse before. On the other hand, though, we could end up with too many people helping and dragging out the process.
It's warming back up out here again making it miserable to work upstairs. I'm fine with any weather really, as long as it happens in the season it's supposed to. Chris on the other hand hates cold weather.
Yeah, it's been a couple of months and I still haven't given the game another go, so it may just be time to trade it in or just follow a guide on the internet to get it finished quickly.
I would hope that it would get forwarded, but then there's the possibility that it could get lost in the mail.
I need to get pickier when going through my clothes too. I've got too many shirts that I'm keeping because I might wear them one day. I either need to start wearing them or get rid of 'em, especially since we won't have as much closet space in the new house.
I know, it's a crazy price. At Walmart, Hiland milk was over $4 for a gallon. And I thought my lactose free milk was expensive at $3.18. o.O

I spent Labor Day on here and playing video games, zero packing happened. Totally, and we have some very heavy boxes packed, so someone else can have the task of moving it. Yeah and that seems to have happened with Chris and his youngest brother. His youngest brother has a smartphone now, so he just wants to play on his phone at family gatherings. I'm really hoping that the youngest one is brought along if the in-laws help us move because he will be zero help, even if we had him play with the dogs.
Not really, I get too stressed out about the littlest things and I think that job would have me stressed out every day.
I told Chris we can't assume that all mechanics graduated at the top of their class, we have to remember that there are some who just managed to pass and that could be the issue with the local shop. It def shouldn't have taken two people to get the issue straightened out. This fiasco may have been the final straw for my dad doing business with them. And this is the same auto shop that had my pickup for a week and said they couldn't find anything wrong even though I told them what the issues were.
The only time I can sleep under that many blankets now is if I'm sleeping in the basement or at a hotel. Nope, not weird at all. I sometimes do that, but it's mostly so that I can cool off faster when I stick a foot or arm out from under the blanket.
Yay! I need to check the sales at Dillon's more often to see if their pre-seasoned chicken breasts are on sale. It's been a while since I've cooked those.

I only like Spring and Fall weather. Extreme temps either way are awful for me.
I try to avoid using guides for games, but when I get to the point that I am frustrated then I deff look it up. Like if I can't find a treasure chest in KH. I am not going to spend hours wandering around. That would drive me nuts.
I don't really trust that all of my mail would find me. I have had too many things lost!
It is hard for me to get rid of shirts. Especially if they are comfy ones. I don't really have a lot of clothes. My daughter is the one with the clothes lol.
I usually only buy groceries at Kroger, so thankfully prices are not that bad. I can't imagine paying that much for milk.

My Great Niece is like that. The last time she spent the night with me she was on her phone the whole time :( she used to be my little game buddy and we would have fun together. I guess those days are over. Very sad.
