Decent boxes are so hard to find. I made the mistake of checking out UHaul for boxes. They charge a fortune! It is really great that you found some for free :)
A big clean up is never fun, but I am sure they will expect it to be spotless. I am sorry, but I hope it takes them a long time to actually sell it lmao!
Here the windchill can be really bad. Last winter we had a few days where they were warning us not to leave the house unless we absolutely had too. It was so cold that all the gadgety stuff in my car like the clock and everything was laggy. It was crazy! I thought my poor car was gonna die or something.
Same! I always try to explain to her that if she keeps trying to do something while she is upset then it will just make it that much harder to do. Oh yeah that area was a pain. I had a hard time seeing some of the doors, and I would get confused about hitting the tree. I kept forgetting which door it opened. The DLC was good, but I was still hoping for better.
That is awful. You could have gotten in trouble for that 0_0 Some people are just idiots! Especially when they blame you for their obvious mistake. Yeah thankfully most of the time someone is here when they drop stuff off. I am just really glad I managed to find her something she loved even more! I bascially stalked the video store until I was able to buy it lol.
I should invest in some more sweaters. I am just very picky about them. I can't deal with anything to high up around my neck and I find so many sweaters itchy. That is why I am more comfy in a tshirt.
The whole PS5 thing sounds like one huge pain in the neck! I already told Emily not to expect one anytime soon! I do not want to deal with it. Unless I can just go and grab it from the store then they can keep it lol. Especially at that price! I hate to see what resellers are going to try to get for one.

I pesonally hope it is. There are way too many creeps on there. I can't believe her mother lets her go on that site. I think it is just easier for to let her do what she wants. That will not go well later on!

There was a blue border and a gold border, same thing just different colors. Disappointed they only show up when posting in the news or a comment. Would have like to see it in the forums around our avatar.

Oh wow there's still a bunch of stuff in the token shop. Nothing I want or need, but think it would be interesting if they had a regular TS RS to see if anybody noticed. :) Edit: Pirate shop is open. "There are no items stocked". As usual. This holiday has gotten so frustrating since there's never anything good in the stupid shop and I end up having to pay a ton for the items from users who are lucky enough to actually get anything from it. Not fun any more. My computer is old and slow and on the rare occasion I actually see anything in the shop by the time I click on it everything is sold out. I will be so glad when this lame dumb "holiday" is over and prices start to come down. Didn't get everything I wanted last year because of this. I hate the pirate shop. Even the few pirate items I got from Carl were cheap old junk only worth fragging. Bring on Morostide. "Restocked Now! There are no items stocked " :(

Gotcha. We may try to take videos of this house before we leave, we'll just have to see how much time we have to get everything moved. Worst case scenario is that we have to move everything, build the fence for the dogs, take down the old fence, plant grass, and clean the house in two days or less.
Yeah, and I hate it when the eye that was stuck just flies open randomly. o.O I rarely watch scary movies but I refuse to watch any that feature a haunted doll. I never had an issue with dolls as a kid but now as an adult, they are just creepy and weird.
They are and then once you find a good box, you don't want to get rid of it! I didn't check the prices at Uhaul but Walmart wants a $1.50 for a big box and $1.40 for a medium box. We didn't want to buy any but we needed big boxes for quilts and board games. Free boxes are always great! You can get free boxes from Walmart too, you just have to ask for boxes when they are restocking shelves. ....just checked boxes on Uhaul's website.....holy cow! The kits are expensive o.O
I plan on vacuuming carpets on the ground floor, sweeping and mopping the linoleum, and wiping down the counters and stove. That's about as much cleaning as I'm going to do because they didn't really do much cleaning before we moved in. From what I have heard, the person who looked at the house last month is buying it, but I don't know exactly when the sale will take place because the landlord has to clean up all his junk outside (which he's only done on weekends) and is auctioning off equipment.
Here it depends on where you live in the state. They always get more snow in the west since they are close to the Colorado border. Central part of the state, Mother Nature does what she wants when she wants. I know there were a few times in college where the windchill dropped the temps so low, everyone was advised to stay inside but the college I went to didn't cancel any classes.
I've said something similar to Chris and he always says he isn't mad/upset. Uh-huh, yeah....repeat that to the only person in the house who heard you smack a button repeatedly or shout at the game. Yup. I ran into trees and fell out of trees in that area and I even managed to fall off the tree in the Tarzan area. I haven't bought the DLC yet because it seemed a little pricey.
It took almost a month for the envelope to come back too. When we re-mailed it, the postal worker said the postage was fine the first time, but went ahead and added more just to be safe. She also added a tracking number to it. I was stressing out the whole time that our taxes were going to be late and we were going to end up losing our return. That year was just a nightmare for our taxes because Chris had been deployed and Turbo Tax wouldn't let us submit electronically.
I can't wear turtlenecks because it just bothers me to have something tight around my neck. I tend to avoid knit sweaters because they are too itchy for me and the only way to avoid the itchiness is to wear a long sleeve underneath. Most of my sweaters are technically sweatshirts made of cotton, but even some of them are not comfy.
Agreed! I also want to read reviews on how the system actually runs, to see if it's worth it or if it's just been overhyped. I would not be surprised if resellers try to sell them for double or triple, because there are people out there who don't care how much they have to spend to have the thing they want. Oh, and there's two versions of the PS5, one with a disk drive and one without the disc drive, so people have to make sure they get the right one.
Yeah, our loan officer probably has a nice house to go home to everyday and has never had to go through the stress of finding a new home with short notice. The appraiser did look at the house Saturday, but as of yesterday afternoon, they had not forwarded their report to anyone, so our loan officer was going to get on that. I know, like really? What failed logic are they using where they think it's ok to pay for insurance that's not needed yet.
I did finally get a moving plan written out yesterday. I drew out a rough layout of the new house, labeled every room and also assigned each room a number. The plan is to have the boxes numbered according to the room they go in because half the boxes are labeled with what's in them.
I was never really freaked out by crickets until I got a really good look at a dead one and now I prefer if they stay outside. Yes, they can have fun figuring out how to close off all the crawlspaces downstairs....and have fun with all the other issues this house has.
The only time I would need 5 of anything would be around Thanksgiving or Christmas if I was making food for a family meal. Otherwise, I don't have room to store excess food....and it would go bad.
Yeah it is insanse to see that is just restocked and everything is gone! Either they only stocked a few items or something fishy is going on. It doens't make any sense.

I have never liked anything about dolls. I read a creepy book about these weird dolls when I was a kid. I don't remember what it was called. I remember the girl for some odd reason decided to bring her doll to life. She kinda breathed into its mouth and said something (no clue what she said) and it came to life. Then more dolls were brought to life and they ended up being evil and they killed her brother. It was just crazy!
We had to get rid of our boxes because we just had no room for them. This is a very tiny apartment with very little storage space. Uhaul is crazy expensive!
I don't blame you. I am sure whoever buys the house will want to do their own cleaning before they move in. At least that is how I am.
Dang! That stinks :( thankfully if it gets too cold here they do cancel school. Don't want the kids standing around outside freezing their butts off waiting for the bus. I think we have more cancellations over the cold then we do for actual snow.
There is no denying when Emily is upset. She gets so whiney!! My only issue with the KH games (and probably a lot of games) is that you only get the really great stuff when you have basically completed the whole game! This last run through of KH2 we actually managed to finish the whole game! We beat all the mushrooms and the lingering will! Got the gold crown and the mushroom keyblade :D we were so excited, It took us years to do that, but then we were finished with the game. You don't get to really use the keyblade or the crown unless you just want to wander around the game doing nothing :(

I am seeing so many conflicting things. It is like no one REALLY knows that much about it. I saw pics where it looks small and some where it looks huge. It is so confusing. Isn't the one without the disk drive like some kind of digital version? No clue what that means. Sounds like something I don't want. Resellers are just awful!
I hate when they are all like "Oh I understand how you are feeling" uh no you don't. If you did, then you would be trying harder to help! You would understand how stressful it is to be kept in the dark and have to wait. Hopefully they will figure out that it is crazy to pay for something like that. Would they pay insurance for a house they didn't own? I highly doubt it.

All bugs can stay outside in nature where they belong! If they stay out there, then I will leave them alone. Come in my apartment and all bets are off lol. I am sure the landlords will slap a bandaid on everything until it sells.
Me too. I just have a small fridge/freezer. I can't even do a big grocery shopping trip since I have such little room.

"Restocked Now!" "There are no items stocked" OMG I am SO sick of seeing this constantly. I have only seen items in the shop twice and both times by the time I clicked anything everything was gone. This is ridiculous. I can't believe they're still doing the shop this way with all the complaints over the past 2 years about it. Is there a place to lodge complaints? So I just actually saw stuff in the shop but by the time I clicked everything was gone. :( Everybody gotten the new Blake yet? My top pet got the loot for 5 wins but my other pets can't.

Only my top pet could get 5 wins against the new Blake. Darn, I'm usually able to get several of the loot drops. I don't pay for opponents so don't pay attention to the CSC opponent. Would be nice if someone had a board complaining about this stupid non holiday so the staff would see it and realize how bad and useless people think it has become and do something to try and change it. Long time ago it was fun but not any more. I like your HA, very nice.

I have been trying to buy all of them. I missed on a few in the past since I knew I couldn't beat them. Now I wish I had gotten them anyway. I love getting the exp points from them. Plus I like battling :) I am not sure I ever really liked once they quit doing the plot. I am really surprised there isn't a board. Now I can only hope they release the challengers again. I am starting to think they wont. The event is going to end soon isn't it? Thanks :D I really like yours too. I managed to get the top from the Ocean's vending machine.
It says the event ends 9-30 so 5 more days. I didn't even remember there were pirate challengers. The shop is worthless, even when I see something it's all gone by the time I click. This stupid "holiday" is just a big fail because it's no fun any more, just frustrating. I wish the staff would see all the complaints and do something to change it and try to make it fun again.

It is a lot to do. We started moving everything we had packed up already into the garage of the house. There's still some things to pack up and furniture to move. The majority of the large furniture will move Wednesday and that will go into the house because the garage is almost full. However, we were told yesterday that it will probably take 10 days until everything is finalized and we can move in.....so where are we and our pets supposed to live during that time. We can't afford to kennel our pets at the vet and there's no way we're moving and paying for another rental that we won't live in for the entire month. We are ok with paying a weekly rent to live in the house we are buying until the sale is finalized because that makes the most sense, but there's pushback on that from the homeowner's son because he thinks there will be an issue with insurance.
Wow o.O creepy book. The only book I've read that features dolls is The Doll People but that was back in grade school (had to look up the title, but man there are some creepy books about dolls that pop up).
After we empty most of our boxes, they will go over to my grandma's house to be used there, or broken down and put in storage for moving later. The downside to storing things in cardboard boxes is that spiders love them. I killed three spiders in one box last week. They really are and I thought Uhaul was supposed to be decently priced for moving.
Honestly, whoever buys the house should rip our walls and redo insulation and then reclean the house. I'll probably at least wipe down counters and shelves when we move into our new place.
One year the school here did a delayed start for almost a week because the bus kept dying from the cold during the trip between towns and I think there were kids on the bus too. When I was in school, we would have a snow day and the snow would completely miss us, then on the days when we should have had a snow day, we didn't. And my school would be the only one in the area that didn't call a snow day.
I'll get upset at a game, but I try to internalize my thoughts and if I keep struggling with one part, I quit the game and move on to something else. That stinks! 😢 Some of the games I play let you upgrade your weapons, so if you find something you like, you can keep it for quite a while. Or you'll get the recipe to craft it at various levels.
And they would have been a lot less stressful that year if Chris had listened to me and done his taxes through the Miltary OneSource link to have them done for free with H and R Block because it was more friendly for the military. I am not looking forward to taxes next year.
Most of my sweatshirts were my mom's, mine from when I was younger or came from a thrift store.
Yeah, they didn't do that great of a job putting out consistent info about the system. They at least could have let retailers have a product page with details that customers could read through. The one without a disk drive is for people who prefer to buy digital games so they don't have to mess with a disk. That version is also $100 cheaper, though I don't get how a disk drive would cost them that much. Resellers are terrible for anything. I've seen ticket resellers outside of the state fair or a concert trying to sell tickets for $10-$20+ more...and they're standing right outside the front gate!
The realtor contacted the appraiser and found out on Thursday that three outlets needed to be swapped to GFIs. Once that was done and he had picture proof, he said he would finish his report and forward it one. The loan officer said our loan will be in underwriting for 24-48 hours because her VA contact is extremely picky and thorough so everything should be done correctly. We just need to make sure that closing costs are financed into the loan and hope that everything can be completed and signed on Wednesday. I'm really hoping that is doesn't take up to 10 days to complete everything because I don't think I can deal with any more stress. At this point, I'm starting to think that we may as well start the house insurance policy on October 1 (even if the sale isn't finalized yet) because we'd be starting it sometime next month anyway and maybe having our own home insurance on the house would let the seller allow us to move in early.
So, the moving plan went out the window because we can't move anything into the house yet, only the garage. All the boxes are jumbled together and it will take a few days to find everything back. Most of the people who said they would help us move backed out (Chris's aunt and uncle had a funeral for a family member, so that was understandable). Chris's little brother was brought along to help and well, he failed to read what was written on boxes and stacked things on top of boxes labeled fragile. What really pissed me off, is he carried a stack of old books (that I swear were in a box), dropped the stack, picked up a book that fell apart, said I think it was like this, and put the books down on a box. I checked them later, the book that fell apart was definitely in better shape than it's current condition. Right now, the front and back covers are no longer connected and the pages are all loose. He had to be told to apologize and his parents are making him pay for the repairs once they find someone to rebind the book. 😠
I will leave all bugs alone outside except for wasps, scorpions, wireworms, and centipedes because I know they will try to find a way inside. Our landlords are really cheap, so I doubt they will slap a bandaid on anything. We've discovered the paint they used was cheap because it's stuck to anything we hung on the walls.
We have a small chest freezer as well as the fridge/freezer combo, but that doesn't give us a whole lot of room to really stock up.

OMG I am sorry it has turned into such a pain in the rear for you guys :( the act of moving is bad enough. Just keep in mind that once it is all done and you are all settled into your new home that you will be a LOT happier hugs
I tried to find it, but no luck so far. I don't want to read it again lol I am just curious about it now. There are way too many creepy doll books/movies! Just proves that most of us think dolls are scary!! (edit- I searched again and I think the book is Mama by Ruby Jean Jensen. I need to find out more info about it be positive though)

Oh man it would suck to get stuck on a school bus. Especially if you were on your way home. With Emily being homeschooled online her last 6 years of school that was one thing I did not have to worry about. I was really thankful for that. No snow days or getting up too early!
I wish we could start a new game and the crown and keyblade transfer over to the new game! That would be awesome. It would make all that time spent getting them really worth it.

I get most of mine from Walmart. I miss our Kmart. Too bad they are all gone now. At least here they are.
It is just really weird how they are handling it. This should be their biggest product launch so far and they seem to be messing it up. I will always want to have a disk. They will regret it one day if their game magically vanishes or something. If I ever had to resell something, I would just want to get my money back to break even.
I hope you guys get to move in as soon as possible (when you are ready of course). fingers crossed It is all smooth sailing from here on! Pirate holiday ends tomorrow. Finally. After a week of frustrating torture we get to move on and look forward to something else. 3 more weeks until Morostide. Wish it started Oct 1st like I thought it used to.

I thought in the past Morostide started the 1st week of October but the last few years it's late October. Holiday schedule says mid Oct but last year it seemed like it was late. But it's been so boring here with not much going on I wish they'd start it a little early. Looking forward to new stuff.
