This is getting ridiculous. They release a new battle opponent but nobody can fight them without feeding their pets a lot of food since the resort is still broken. All of my pets are Hunger: 0 /10 Happiness: 27 / 10 except 1 which is Hunger: 0 /10 Happiness: 0 / 10. I wish someone would FIX this.

~ It's been almost 3 weeks. I don't know if she'll come back but We are still holding onto a tiny bit of hope. In the meantime, the kittens do bring us some much needed happiness.
I've been busy. I haven't participated as much in the questathon as I would like, so I am trying to do as much as I can this week. School is starting on the 15th and both of my boys are remote, so I am getting supplies, waiting on schedules and just trying to make sure we have everything wee need for the school year. It's been crazy as people are tying to figure things out.

I'm still hoping that my favorite outdoor kitty will return too. I'm really hoping that he comes back before I move so I can take him with me but its been almost a month since I last saw him. My kitties are addicted to the laser dot. I pick it up and they come zooming over waiting for me to turn it on.
I've been so busy packing that I missed out on most of the questathon. Long story short, landlord gave us short notice that he's selling the farm we are renting which put us in a crunch to find a new place to live. We're in the process of buying a house but it's stressful just thinking about trying to move everything in two days.

That is a really crappy thing to do! They were only thinking about themselves. Probably worried that you would move out before they sold the place and miss out on some rent money. Selfish!! I really hope you get the house hugs!
It was very stressful! Thankfully I found us a place only a couple of blocks away. Especially since I ended up carrying most of the stuff to the new place.
I am looking forward to some nice, mild fall weather fingers crossed

Can a doctor help with that? I know they have allergy tests, but not sure what info they can give you besides that you are allergic to something. I hope you can move soon!

I did smack it a few times lol. Espeically when it would get stuck and look like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, It was very annoying.
Paying for car/truck repairs is just insane. It is amazing how much some places will charge for the tiniest things.
I hate games with bad control functions. I get frustrated too easily!

I love decorating a new place, but I really HATE unpacking! I think I hate unpacking more then I hate packing lol.
Some times I think we live too close to the pizza place. We deff eat too much of it, but some days it is just so convenient when I am not feeling too good.
I know I wont be able to get one for a long time, and at the same time I am not completely sold on getting one at all. I will have to get a lot more info about it.
Well at least it is better then her hinting that the extra bedroom would make for a great guest room for her! That is a shame. I hate MILs like that.

I'm doing all the quests every day, except Sarah. I see that we've passed the 2 million goal! Honestly I don't even want any of the prizes except maybe the HA border. Last thing I need is more pet slots or a 2nd hoodie I can't use and didn't even want the 1st one. Wish I could give the pet slot and hoodie away to someone who needs them. Sure wish they would add a better prize since we passed the next goal with 3 more days to go yet. Also sure wish they'd fix the stupid resort. All my pets are starving but really happy.

I put Talon in the one at Port Plunder and they fed him thankfully.
It looks like the resort problem is fixed. Bug posted on the forum and all my pets are at 10/10 and 10/10 now. :)

remember several months ago when I was trying to import my stickers to the subetalodge checklist and it wouldn't work? Anyway I tried again the other day and it finally worked for me! Now I'm more motivated to figure out what I need and collect them. I always forget to update my lists when my pets eat/read then I have to go through and upload all the pages again. I wish there was a way to do newest page only like when you update the wardrobe. Have you been doing the quest-a-thon? :)

Ooh, nice! Yeah, the Subetalodge lists are really helpful for going through and seeing what you still need, especially since we can sort by price and stuff too. Sometimes I'll go through my collections randomly and try to buy up whatever cheap things I'm still missing.
I have been participating, but I probably won't be in the top 100 since I've skipped kind of a lot of quests out of laziness some days lol. At least it's just the avatar border that I'll miss out on, which isn't like super appealing to me anyway so it's fine.
I really need to get back into doing BQs more regularly, my battle pet has been Tier 12 for almost 3 years now because I keep slacking. Ah well, I'll get there eventually. ;~;

Aww lol. I've been doing all my quests. Before the QAT I was gifted a buddy GA :D It'll run out in 2 more weeks. On top of that I'm still scrounging for quest points since I burned my supply getting extra books last winter ;-; So all the motivation even though it's tedious. Some day I'll catch up again xD
I'm also doing my battle quests! Lately there's a bug where resort pets aren't being fed so when I'd go to do them my pet wouldn't be available immediately so it was annoying :( I wonder if we'll get a gelatin war this year or if it's too late / getting on too many holidays close together now. Wars are the main thing that keeps me on top of trying to improve my pet.

Oh yeah, quest points can definitely be a motivation to do them more. Along with the nice amounts of sP you can sometimes get and the items for fragging or whatever.
And nice! Your pet is catching up to mine now, I'm at like 19.5k total stats. Another gelatin war would be cool, but I know there has been a lot going on with trying to fix things around the site, and also some of the staff have been busy with their other real life jobs with covid and everything, so IDK if it will happen this year. And yeah I had heard about the resort glitch, although I don't have my pet in the resort right now. I had a small stash of things I needed to feed him, so I would just wait until I was ready to do BQs and then feed him an item so he'd be at least at 1/10 hunger for long enough for me to battle lol.
I am looking forward to the upcoming holiday season though! Keel Hauliday usually has some cool stuff, and then there's Morostide which is one of my faves, and Fireside and Luminaire are nice too so yeah.

I think that's exactly it, they wanted to keep getting money from the house while they could. The thing that sucks though, is because they gave us zero warning we don't have as much money saved up. If we had known that we were going to be moving out, Chris would have waited to upgrade parts of his computer and I would haven't waited on buying some things as well. I really hope we get the house too. hugs We are waiting on the loan people to send out an appraiser to look at the house. That's the main thing that I think is holding the process back.
At least the new place was nearby to make things easier, though I'm sure it wasn't fun walking back and forth multiple times.
I'm not ready for summer to be over yet, but since I'll be moving, cooler weather would be really nice. The weather has started to cool down here in the mornings and evenings, so the AC has been turned off.
I still have 4 buddy GAs. I'll go through my friends list after the whole living situation is sorted out.
I need to get an allergy test done again at some point because I haven't had one I was a toddler. I don't know if a doctor could help figure out what my tolerance limits are. I hope we can get moved soon as well, the corn is already starting to bother me. Two days ago I was questioning if I had a cold or allergies because my nose was slightly stuffy.
It was. Chris started looking and applying for other jobs just in case the business completely shut down. Once August 21 passed with no letter stating permanent closure, we could relax a bit.
I know and even an oil change can get pricey. Chris does all the vehicle repairs that he feels comfortable doing, so that saves some money. He replaced the starter in my pickup and my dad's pickup and I think the repair shop would have charged over $500 for it. The cheapest repair bill I've had was $18 and that was just cleaning corrosion off a battery line.
I know! It really sucks. The Blacksad game has set walking paths in some areas, so you can get stuck if you miss the path by a hair. The game also weirds me out because the designers gave all the animals humanoid hands and feet.
Yup and they always seem quick to side with the buyer as well. Chris hasn't given me any updates about the overcharge for shipping, so I'm guessing it's just going to get shoved aside.
I hate talking on the phone and that's my only option right now if I want to get my card replaced because my bank is only letting people into the lobby if they set up an appointment. I'd hate to have the question why I think my card is worn out. I only had an issue with my card at one store yesterday when I went shopping with my mom, so maybe it's not as bad as I thought.
We'll actually be able to decorate the outside of our house for the holidays and have it be seen. I hate both. I hate packing because it's making me realized just how much stuff I've accrued in three years (most of its fabric and crafting supplies), so I keep running out of boxes. Unpacking isn't fun because I have to find a new home for everything and inevitably move things around 5 times before I like where it's at.
Being able to have food delivered is really nice. Chris and I just relied on it too much when we lived in the city. It's a great alternative when one forgets to put a roast in the crockpot before leaving for work.
The console is rumored to be released in November and places like Gamestop haven't even received info on the consoles yet. Amazon doesn't even have a listing for it yet. Kinda hard for the people who are interested in pre-ordering the console when no price has been released. It would be nice to upgrade to the PS5 at some point because it is supposed to run faster and store save data better, but they need to release more info about it.
Oof, yeah, she would be getting a hard no about having a guest room for herself. She offered to come over and help pack Labor Day weekend, but honestly, I think she would get on my nerves with her borderline OCD. I'm probably going to freak her out when she sees the pillows and blanket that I got for the new house to combat all the yellow inside. I got three black pillows covered in skulls and a red blanket covered in skulls. I'll admit that I never left my emo phase years ago. Ever since I first met Chris's mom, I've always felt like she's judging me any time we're in the same room. Also sometimes feels like she thinks I'm not good enough for her son or she has to try really hard to make herself still feel important to him.
Yes. It might be a bit of a hassle to get the fence built in the backyard since we have to get a building permit and permission from the mayor, but rehoming them is not something we want to do. The dogs would just be heartbroken. Yes, we are so looking forward to being able to make changes to the house and not have to get the ok from a landlord!
I think that the total price included the cost of labor as well. Chris has a code reader and he scanned my brother's pickup and found 17 codes all tied to high voltage. He thinks the alternator may have been incorrectly wired in after the engine was replaced.
It is really sweet. We sleep under a single bedsheet at night because I can steal is extra warmth, but then when he gets up in the morning he puts the weighted blanket on the bed so I don't get cold.
Off to go try and make beef pot pie for supper. Never made one before so hopefully, it turns out tasty.
Anybody know how you take items out of the wardrobe? I keep clicking "to inventory" but nothing happens, they don't show up in my inventory. Using the account search option would be a nuisance since there's a bunch of items I'm trying to remove. I can't find a button to activate the removal. :(

I really hate selfish people like that. I hope they will stop being landlords now! Renters deserve better then that. I can understand. You always want to save money before a big move like that. Fingers crossed it moves forward quickly and smoothly!
It was embarrassing too :( I felt weird carrying stuff around like that. Plus I ended up having to leave most of the furniture behind because I just could not move it.
Yeah moving during the summer heat would be awful!
I was thinking about making a board to give them away, but not sure we are allowed to do that, I just hate for them to go to waste.

Sometimes that is good, but they should really look into every case and not just side with the buyers automatically. Yeah he is probably not getting anywhere with them.
I am the same. I hate dealing with people on the phone. I always get flustered and worry that I sound like an idiot. I doubt they will even ask why you want a new one. They should just replace it with no fuss. You could even just tell them that you lost it.
I decorate the windows outside since both of them have a little ledge. I put up little decorations like snowmen and stuff like that. Plus I put clings on the windows and lights on the inside. I end up tossing a lot of stuff when I move. I just can't deal with packing all of it lol. Yeah finding new places to put things can be stressful!
We rely too much on pizza delivery. I wish we had more options around here. I haven't had a roast in a long time. I only buy them when they are buy one get one free.
That is crazy. I wonder why there isn't more info out there. It doesn't really make any sense unless they think keeping it a mystery will make people want it more. Won't work on me though. I need to be an informed shopper! I need more storage space for our PS4. I think they have external things for that, but I am totally clueless and the are probably expensive!

Permission from the mayor? Wow never heard of that! I think here we just go to the city hall and pay for the permits. You give them money and you can pretty much do anything within reason lol. Landlords can be such a pain!
Hopefully he can get them to fix it if they are at fault, but I am sure there will be someway that they will say they are not responsible,
