By the way, I had a lovely time Thurs evening. I joined a new organization of "mice" and finally found what I was searching for... similar mice that can have interesting dialogues with me in a lovely atmosphere. We went to a woman's home whereby she lives with her parents. They were very courteous & great hosts. We had snacks and fancy nonalcoholic beverages, which is right up my alley of tastes :) I tried two different apple "ciders" a rose & a pear one. I preferred the pear since it doesn't compete with other similar tastes and can stand it's own. We have an animator that helps keep dialogue smooth... keeps the chatty ones in line (like myself) and helps the shyer ones find ways to express themselves. I definitely want to do this type of activity again :D I've also signed up for the end of the month to go take pictures with the gang at a festival of lights at night. It should be interesting.

It's ok. I'm getting some great advice from other players. It's interesting though since there's no "right" answer but rather how you battle makes a big impact on what is better for you. I've found out some things are overinflated so it's better to wait or try to eventually win on my own. One I know I can't win is GotF... I'm strongly leaning towards getting at least one or maybe 2 with an acorn bomb and maybe soma tablet... and I'll be over my 250 budget if I get two GotF.

For the evening, it's the first time I feel better understood and don't have to justify being "different". I even have others adding to what I say to help clarify things and we get each other at a level that others don't. I've felt so alone all of my life and finally I've found mice I can relate to :) Yes... we all have our own challenges that can be different from one another; however, we can understand at a certain level where others just haven't & in some cases never will. My own mother calls it an "illness" when it isn't. She means well but just the word rubs me the wrong way. I was born different, my brain works differently but I'm not contagious, a danger to others, going to die from it, etc. The pathways in my brain differ from the norm & how I understand, recall, etc. things is different. Sometimes it's much more advanced than others while sometimes I deal with challenges others don't have to. My aunt & cousin sometimes as me to "try harder" as well as others... yet they don't realize I have limits and I already am trying very hard. It's like they want me to change rather than try to adapt and accept who I am. It's tough... but in the new group they better understand my struggles and are less judgemental. :)

Has you mother ever done any research? That is just terrible. Some people just say things and it makes me crazy. When Emily was younger we were at a store and she was having a mini meltdown and this woman told me that she acted the way she did because I didn't pray enough. One of my nieces refused to have her daughter vaccinated because she was afraid her daughter would end up like Emily. As if a vaccine was the cause and I was at fault for letting her get vaccinated. Ugh, think happy thoughts!!!! Mmmm cheesecake...all better!

GotF = I was just lent a few to see how I'd like using several. Nice, yep yep. I'm going to buy Soma Tablets in a few min, it makes a good extra blaster to the recycle (can't have 2 of the same item equipped). As long as challenger doesn't have a mega huge amount of weapons (like the Hustler, grrr).

For a while research came out claiming a link to autism to a specific vaccine; however, it was disproven... yet the myth remains grumbles. Yeah, mom has been doing research but erm she thinks of it as a "maladie" (sickness) and every time I try to explain it isn't another day we talk and she still calls it that, whines. I have balance issues & my health has deteriorated... don't you just LOVE the people that suggest praying. They mean well (or in your case have a lack of something in their life to try and make others feel miserable)... try to smile and either remind yourself they mean well or feel sorry for them as they lack love in their life. How's about Sphynx cake? ;)

Actually, I'm horrible with acronyms; however, I try to decipher some to just understand a little. I thought "lucky" scroll was a term for scrolls of a certain type & then find out there's an actual scrolled called lucky eh he he, learn something new ;)

In my case, oftentimes people associate my high intelligence with my issues claiming I "should know better", when I just honestly can't function for certain things or easily figure stuff out for certain situations whereas for others I'm in the lead and know more than most. It's very frustrating and worst of all I realize I'm different and most don't understand. I've even been discriminated against on several occasions. At least the people that are kinder it makes me appreciate them even more.

Yeah the left cat also looks like don't you dare get any ideas, it's ours, all ours! :P

Thankfully none of it bothers Emily. She just ignores it. She is way better at that then I am. She is always telling me not to worry about what anyone thinks. She says "I don't care". It just bothers me when other people are mean to her. I take it more personally then she does.

It's tough when someone we love is told mean things. At least Emily is smarter than them & doesn't let it get to her. Pitty those that say the mean things, think how they suffer in their everyday life and negatively affect those around them, thank goodness you're not around them often!

Oh that looks so good! I want cake, but all I have are chips. Just not the same!

I rarely eat dessert... but I grabbed a few interesting finds at the food bank. Some chocolate & caramel mouse, pumpkin pie, cheesecake dip with chocolate. Yep I'm making myself hungry. I'm trying to get as far ahead as I can with mama mush before calling it a night. I'm almost at 50 wins thanks to the lends and I bought soma tablets that are making a good difference.

oh yeah! 75 wins drop a special scroll that's 1/2 of a good freezing scroll. If I can get both halves then I have a free freezing scroll and they are worth big bucks. That's why I'm so bent on getting my 75 wins... but she's a royal tough cookie to beat. I'm doing ok but even with all the lent items it's a long battle and right now sometimes I lose... so hopefully, Poukie will last up to 75 but I have to get her AP (intelligence) up by 4 so she can have another healing scroll loaded to help her last long enough.

I have only been fighting the opponents 5 times. I guess I need to find out which ones I need to fight more.

Fight Daemon & Mama Mush to be able to get the scroll parts to make a nice freezing scroll. The other scrolls are not as desirable. But you can get some nice drops like certain stones that are higher than the baguettes and tomes you can sell when you reach high levels.

I'm going to have to go to bed soon, almost 3am and that's late even for me. I managed 60 wins on mama mush, I'll have to get her AP up for the rest since it's too borderline. I want to do my battle quests though to get a bit more exp and see how I can do higher up.

Since the reset, most of the battle challengers drop loot (and give EXP which you don't care about with your capped pet :-) ) way past 10 wins and many of them have special loot at higher win totals. Several new scrolls were introduced that are acquired by battling to earn scroll pieces that some opponents drop at higher win totals (you can find them all in SubetaLodge along with how many wins needed to earn them). The only scroll the battlers seem to think is worth getting is the new freezing scroll (Cold Blast Scroll) that is working on - earned by wins against Mama Mush and Daemon (75 each). After earning the pieces, they are combined at Genetech Labs to create the final scroll.

Many of the challengers also drop Tomes and the new special weapon mod crystals. The following tells you how far you need to battle before there is no longer any special loot -

After a certain point (200 wins for easy, 100 wins for medium, 75 wins for hard, 50 wins for very hard, 35 wins for extremely hard, and 25 wins for impossible), the loot is always from a specific pool of items that the challenger gives out (crystals, potions, or pylonics). General Error was the only exception to the pattern with the Psycho Smasher Scroll at win 50.

Only EmilyMae knows in this group what "mice" means. It's not a big deal but I often like to keep certain aspects private. The "mice" challenge is more a catch 22... sometimes it's useful for people to know and other times I'm treated differently or discriminated against because of the label. Also, forums aren't private so I prefer not to disclose where public eyes can see. If you really want to know, you can always comment me if you keep your comments private on your main page (what I do) or sMail ;) Although, I'm pretty sure you can easily figure it out ;)
