Lol yeah, I like being semi-naked during the event so I can track my strain progress without having to keep taking stuff off and putting it back on, or whatever. I think there's a URL for your HA that you can use to track your progress without having to do that though, it just shows what your infection stage looks like without showing any of the other base features. I can't remember what the link is right now, but I'm sure someone will post it somewhere in the Survival forums once the event starts if it still exists.

I'm finished with the achievement for biting people for now (unless more tiers are added later), but I can probably bite some sharks once the event starts if I have any of the strains people want.

I'll probably go for the Freckle Fever virus first for myself, while I wait to see what the new ones end up looking like.

I'll most likely be going for the butterfly one first, since it's the only one I recall by heart I want :D I have a lot to do for that event in terms of achievements, we'll see how it goes. I find it ironically fun to see your HA so exposed when it's usually so covered up :P Last year I had a bite me sticky and was still using human HAs. It's been hard to part with this look since I've found the mask ;)

LOL true, this is probably the one time of year that my HA is so uncovered, but it's fun to do something different for a little while.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what kinds of new strains the content team have come up with this year. Even if I end up not getting any of them myself, it's always cool to watch them progress while trying to figure out what the final stages will look like.

It was my first event so I wasn't sure what to do & what I was getting into. If I had known, I would have waited for the new strains to finish before getting one... my first one ever was hives... ewww! I thought it might have been something like a bumble bee, nope :P I have the love bug that is my go-to one when I do alchemy or want a bit of hearts in the background.

The Love Bug one is cute! I'm almost running out of strains that I really like enough to want to get, so we'll have to see how it goes after this year I guess. I'm going with Freckle Fever first, and then I might get the Lotus one (maybe), and then Blistered Hearts as one of my last ones. Also maybe one of the new ones depending on if I like any of them.

That page has them listed by year, along with the words/phrases that they are associated with in the VIP thing where you choose which one you want. And then you can look on the Skins page in the wardrobe to see which ones you already have, of course.

Thanks for the link :) There's a few I might get but if I'm not going to want to wear them then there's no real point for me to try and get them... especially since I'm so far behind getting all the strands that there's no way I'd get them all.

Yeah, I really doubt I will ever get them all either, but I still like collecting them just to have. Although I do try to get ones that I like or would use first, but as I said I'm starting to run out of those since this will be my 4th (I think?) year of participating in the VIP.

I'll still keep getting strains though, they'll just be the ones that I don't like as much but will get just to have. :P

My niece lives with her parents (my sis and her husband) 2 blocks right down the same street as us. I wont go over there because my sister makes me very uncomfortable. She is just not a nice person and any second spent there feels like hours. AAA is insane expensive. It is my Mom's car and she wants full coverage. Her Dad isn't going to pay for car insurance.

Tough situation to be in. I had used CAA lowest coverage for my scooter so it cost much less. Do what you can it's the best you can do. If there are issues with your sister & your niece lives with her... well the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Focus on what you can do and maybe a solution will pop up when you least expect.

Is anyone doing blue building quests? I tried some last night. Not sure if the points are worth the price since she doesn't give SPs so you have to pay whatever the items cost. And I don't really see anything in the shop that I want badly enough to keep paying for the points. Trying to decide if it's worthwhile.

I mostly just want the new food items. I would like to get the bg, but not for 10,000 points. That is crazy!

I don't need the food items unless there's an achievement for them. The BG is OK but too dark, you can't really see any pretty details when it's so dark. Wanted to fight Bubbles with all my pets to get the experience points but just haven't had time. Maybe this weekend. Um, shouldn't the candy hearts have come out for Valentines day. Releasing them after that doesn't seem right, like having Xmas in January.

The Blue Building quests aren't that expensive anymore. It's only cost me somewhere between 30-50k or so to do all 5 each day, which can be made up pretty easily if you do other quests.

Also the candy hearts go with Survival for the kissing part, so they won't be released until the event starts (which has started as late as the 17th or so in the past). Although I'm guessing it will probably start either today or tomorrow. The actual real world day doesn't matter as much since Subeta mostly uses its own site lore now.

Yeah I know that the BB quests are cheaper but since I don't see anything in the shop I want I don't really want to spend 30K for points I won't use unless they get some more new items I want. And I know that the hearts go with Survival, it just seems kinda silly to have them after Valentines is over since that's a V day icon. Guess I'm wishing the Survival would hurry up and happen and get over with. ;)

I need the food for my good gallery :D I love collecting food! The BG is pretty dark. I would probably only use it to put behind another BG for the sky.
