I watch Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix, so I'll always be a season behind. I had been watching the Dick Van Dyke Show on Netflix but they removed it a couple months ago 😢 I need to watch the second season of The Good Place and start watching NCIS and Criminal Minds again. On Hulu, I watch Animaniacs, Murdoch Mysteries, Ghost Adventures and Harrow, but I want to start watching the Good Doctor. It's always hit or miss if their chicken is going to be good. I've had some good chicken strips there and I've also had some nasty, fatty chicken strips there. I've never eater the wings there because I'm pretty picky about them. The sandwich was really good and quite filling.This is only my second time eating at ihop since July, before that it's been a few years since I've eaten there. They have expanded their menu some so they have more options than just pancakes. They serve crepes and have a small lunch menu but you can order breakfast all day. He does but I don't think they really think about this house much anymore since they no longer live here. There is no inspection since this is just a farm house in a rural area. Chris and I only have a verbal rental agreement (which could backfire on us) and this house probably won't be rented out again after we move out, unless it's to family. I had hoped to play the game some tonight, but the dang garage door ate up some of my planned free time. Then I had to go through my loot haul from the thrift store. I always love finding something expensive at the thrift store and getting it for a cheap price 😀. These boots have hardly been worn so I'm wondering if someone got them as a Christmas gift, tried them out, didn't like them and then donated them.

I love the Dick Van Dyke show! That and I love Lucy. I stopped watching NCIS when that blonde woman came on. I just can't stand her for some reason. She just irks me lol. I always wanted to try the Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity breakfast, but I know I couldn't order that with a straight face :P I am not even sure if they still have that. Oh geeze that is not a good position to be in. We are on a month to month lease so that isn't much better. We can both be tossed out without much notice :( not a good way to live. I worked at a St. Vincent De Paul (kind of like a good will type place) and people would donate all kinds of things. A lot of the stuff was even brand new with tags still on. I think they are all gone now. They are supposed to be helping people (run by the Catholic church) but even though they got all the stuff for free they still charged too much. The poor people in the neighborhoods their stores were in could not afford most of that stuff. The people donating their stuff probably had no clue how much people were being charged.

I think I was on the 4th or 5th season before it was taken off Netflix. I love I Love Lucy too, I just need to find somewhere to watch it. I stopped actively watching NCIS when I went to college, but stopped paying attention to the show when the blonde one came on and I really stopped paying attention when they pretty much threw Gibbs' rules out the door. I don't remember seeing that on the menu Wednesday, but I didn't really look too hard at most of their breakfast menu. I don't think I could order that with a straight face either 😀 It really isn't, but I guess it makes it easier for us to move out whenever we need to....although we could also get forced out too if they have a family member that needs somewhere to live. 😢 I never know when they are going to come visit, so I'm always a little worried about how the inside of the looks since I've fallen behind on keeping things organized. I've noticed that with a lot of thrift stores that use their profits to help people in the community. Some of them still price things relatively cheap, but there are a few, Goodwill and The Arc, that are all over the place with pricing. Today I found a purse at Goodwill that they had priced for $9 just because it was the Thirty-One brand and I also found a child's equipment building set priced at $9 but was too taped up to check if anything was missing. One of the other Goodwill's I go to had an antique organ on sale for a few months, priced at $200 or $300. I hate that thrift stores are trying to be antique stores now too. Thank you for the gifts! 😊 I've had a rough day, migraine and I might be getting sick again, so this put a smile on my face.

Oh I know! When she first came on and she was sitting on the floor because she didn't like desks I guess we were supposed to love her for being "quirky" or something. It didn;t work for me at all! When Gibbs let all her nonsense slide it completely changed him for me. I think they just let her character ruin the show. Then Tony left and that was the end for me :( It would be so embarassing for me lol! I would end up pointing at it on the menu! It is a double eged sword :( I really wish we could move into a house and have something that is more "ours" then "someone elses". Exactly! They are not supposed to be a high end store! Whenever donations came into St, Vincent the lady that ran the place always wanted anything that looked old or expensive brought to her. I swear she was taking the really good stuff and letting her boyfriend buy them dirt cheap so he could turn around and sell them online or something for a big profit! Awe welcome Hun hugs glad they made you feel a little bit better :)

The end for me was when Ziva left 😢 , because even though she was headstrong, she and Gibbs both had a mutual respect for each other. Then Tony left and the show lost the character that always cracked a joke at the right moment. Oh, it bugged me too that the blonde got away with sitting on desks all the time. It also bothered me when Wilmer's character went on his own personal vendetta mission, witch is completely against Gibbs' rules. Abby has left too, the quirky character that I really liked. I always stumbled over my order, no matter what it is, but I think I would really stumble over that one. I also always point at what I'm wanting to order from the menu, in case I butcher the name. I just want to have my own house, where I don't have to worry about paying rent to someone else every month. I'm also tired of having limited changes that I can make to the house. There's wallpaper in most of the house and I hate it because I can't use command hooks. Wish I could change the color scheme in the house and the floor in the kitchen. Oh geez. Today at Goodwill, I watched an employee bring a vacuum out (I think it was a Shark), look it over really well and then she carried it back to the back room, probably to hide it somewhere so she could take it home. 😊 thank you!. I think I might have to take cold medicine tonight to see if it helps me sleep since my nose is in this weird stuffy/runny limbo and my throat feels funny. I think running around in the cold air yesterday morning is what did me in.....and not having running water.

I LOVED Ziva! I watched off and on after she left, Do you remembe the lie detector lady? I would even choose her over blondie! After Tony there was nothing left for me either :( I am sure the ratings have been suffering too, but they just wont get rid of her for some reason. Most of the time when I do eat out I stick to simple things like biscuits and gravy or a burger and fries. I hate ordering. Paying rent is flushing money away! I hate it so much! If it was a rent to own or something that would be diff, but to pay out so much and not own anything is awful. Yes the freedom to decorate is amazing! I miss that so much. I wouldn't doubt it. I bet none of the really good stuff makes it to the shelves. I hate when I have one side stuffed and the other side runny. Ugh you deff need running water :( that is not safe at all. When will it get fixed?

I loved that they showed how difficult it can be for people to learn and understand English when it isn't their first language with how she took Tony's jokes literally and mixed up words. And I loved how she didn't take crap from Tony. I don't remember the lie detector lady, she might have been on when I was sort of following the show as I fell behind. McGee and Gibbs are the only original team members left, everyone else is new. I don't even know if Ducky is in every episode now, I think Palmer has taken over autopsy. I would think the ratings would have taken a bit of a hit, what with all the new people that have joined. I try to eat simple stuff too, but I'm picky so it's really hard to find something that I don't have to ask to leave something off. Cheeseburgers at McDonald's I have to ask for no onions and no pickle, rubens I have to ask for no kraut and dressing, etc. It makes it easier for my order to get messed up, so I always double check my food before I leave. I hate ordering my food too, just makes me really uncomfortable. When I was packing and getting ready to move 2 years ago, there were a few nights that I just ordered Jimmy John's and had it delivered. It was so nice to order the food online and not have to speak to anyone but the delivery guy. Exactly! I've tried telling Chris this, but he just doesn't seem to understand that I'm not happy about the $2,400 that's going towards rent instead of in a savings account. When we first moved back, we had been living with my parents because it had been agreed upon that it would be better for me to not be living on my own while Chris was deployed. Well that went out the window when we were offered this house to rent. It was pretty much a 'do what Chris wants' type of moment and not factor in what I want. We could've had so much money saved up if we hadn't rented the house right away. I don't know if I'd want to be in a rent to own type situation with this house. It's over 100 years old and was renovated in the 70's, so it's due for another renovation and overall needs some work. In terms of decorating, I can hang stuff up on the walls, but man I'd love to rip the wallpaper off and put some color on the walls other than white and tan. I have found some good things, but I think it depends on each person's definition of what's really good to them. I think it depends on the employees working during the day and how strict the manager is about following the rules. There have been plenty of thrift stores that I've been to, where the employees see someone buying something they wanted and commenting on it. Then they say they can't hold anything back for themselves and have to come back to shop when they aren't working. But I'm sure that isn't the case all the time. I'm sure there are some managers who are lax and let employees take whatever they want because it was 'just a donation'. During my last cold, my nose alternated between being runny and stuffy. Every time I stood up it was runny, but if I was sitting it was stuffy. I finally got enough jugs filled with water so I could get the toilet flushed and refill the tank. Supposedly the new valve will be put in today, but it's already 11 a.m. and my landlord hasn't shown up yet to do that. I was under the impression that he would call when he was on his way over. I hope it gets done today, because I need a shower and I need to give my landlord the rent check and figure out how we are splitting this ginormous water bill. It will probably take me a week to wash all the laundry I have piled up. 😢

Their relationship was the best part of the show for me! I was so happy when Kate left. She didn't get Tony and his personality at all. She always took everything personally and was so over the top with her snotty attitude some times. Plus she took every opportunity to bring up that "she protected the president". No one cares lol. She really irked me. As far as I know Ducky is gone, but the guy that played him is 85 so I don't blame him for wanting to retire. I love Palmer :D Ugh deff not kraut for me either! I never liked that stuff on anything. I try to order evrything online when I can. Ordering pizza is so much nicer when you don't have to go over every little detail of what you want. Just few clicks and you are good to go! Holy canoly that is a lot of rent!!! I hate paying $550 for a one bedroom apartment! I agree you deff would not want to rent to own that house. In that situation you would want to look for a house that you would want to live in for a really long time. Looking back I am sure the money would be great, but would you really want to be with your MIL 24/7. At least you can avoid online. Can't really do that in rl. it is just a shame they charge so much! The manager (Mary) had her boyfriend buy everything so she wasn't buying anything herself. We all knew she was barely charging him anything, but nothing we could do about it. She was the one that set the prices. I would love to know how much money they made from doing that. I hate waiting for landlords to get things done :( but since he needs to show up for his money I am sure he will be there for that. Hopefully he wont show up really late and say something about it being too late to do the work. I am sure there are laws about you not having running water.

I loved Tony and Ziva too, their chemistry together was perfect. Kate was ok, I'll admit I didn't like her at all in the first episode because she was snotty and it seemed like things had to be done her way in order for her to be happy/ok with it. I don't blame him for wanting to retire either. I know there was one episode where Ducky traveled somewhere to speak at a conference as he was semi-retired but I thought he said something about he missed being with everyone. I like Palmer too, his character has matured over the years into someone who is capable of taking over the autopsy. I don't like the smell. Any time they served bierocks at school, the halls just filled with the smell of kraut and it was nasty. I didn't enjoy having to smell it all day. I love ordering online too, because it never fails, when you call in your order you always have to correct them and they still get it wrong. I should have specified that was for a year. We actually have a pretty cheap rent compared to other homes in the area, but it still adds up. We were paying $750 a month when we lived in the city plus utilities. We had been living with my parents for about 4 months before we moved into this house. It wasn't bad, I was available immediately for any farm work. I can understand that Chris wouldn't want to live there for a long period but if we hadn't moved into this house, he would have only been living with my parents for 7 months. Now if it had been the other way around and we had moved in to his parents' house, I would have said no. In-laws are wanting to take me out to lunch the day after my birthday. I get to pick the restaurant from the options available in two towns. Only downside is that I'll have to drive there to meet them then sit through an awkward lunch with them. 😢 that's terrible, they've probably made a pretty penny from doing that. The Goodwill employee who took the vacuum back into the back, ended up having to pull books off the shelves. So I don't know if she got in trouble for trying to hold something back for herself or not because she was chucking the books into storage totes. One local thrift store used to be really cheap, then someone else took over pricing and it's ridiculous what they are trying to charge for some things. This thrift store is located in a run-down part of town so the people who live nearby are exactly the most well-off.
I hate waiting too. A coworker was going to stop by yesterday to drop something off and she never showed. My landlord showed up around 1 with his son-in-law and grandson. They got the new valve installed so I have water back in the house and they checked everything to make sure there weren't any more leaks. yay In the spring they will dig up where the leak is and either repair it or completely remove the water hydrant that I don't use. Then his wife called to ask about how much water had been 'used' by the leak and how much it would cost. I have to go off the total that the water company read of the meter when they came out, which was 127.000 which will cost over $1000. I only have to pay for what I think I used, which I'm estimating 4,000 gallons since I did more laundry this month, and my landlords will pay for the rest, even if it means that they have to set up a payment plan for it.

My two favorite epsidodes were the one that Tony and Ziva went undercover as a married couple that were also assassins, and the one where Palmer and Ducky were kidnapped. I love Palmer. I am just so glad he got over his huge fear of Gibbs. Exactly! I hate having to deal with phone orders. I have to call the Red Apple when I want a carry out and I hate it. I am trying to order and they interrupt me or I have to correct them on every detail. I hate it! Oh ok that makes more sense lol. I thought that was a crazy price for a months rent. I don't blame you for not wanting to move in with the in-laws. Been there and it was torture! It is a shame that these places that are supposed to help the poor have so many people that want to rip them off :( Yay for water! That is a relief! I had to go without water for a couple of months one time and it was a very miserable time. Hopefully they will stick to the plan and pay off their part.

It's been so long that I can't remember if I have any favorite episodes of NCIS. Palmer always was so nervous when he had to come upstairs to tell them something, stuttering over anything he had to say. I really liked the relationship between Abby and Gibbs and how he was almost like a father to her, knowing her quirks, how to calm her down, how to entice her to work. I hate when I have to correct my order on the phone or in drive thrus. I do like that some drive thrus now have a screen that shows you your order so that you can correct them if it's wrong, otherwise it's a guessing game. Then they act so butthurt when you tell them your order is wrong. Taco Bell is notorious for screwing up my order. You'd think it would be really easy to make tacos with just the meat and cheese, leaving the lettuce and tomatoes off, but no. When I lived in the city, there were some places available to rent that were over $1500 to $2000 a month, and they expected a deposit of that amount. When Chris was at basic training his parents expected me to come over but never asked me to come over. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to drive across town to visit my boyfriend's parents who I've barely known for a year....by myself.. When Chris came back from basic and AIT, he was considering moving back in with his parents, but I convinced him to move into an apartment. Didn't take much, just a 'do you really want to move back in with your parents and brothers?' lol It is, or that they make people wait until a certain person can call them to set up an appointment for them to come in and get assistance (overheard a phone call at a thrift store the other day, that's the premise I got). I think part of the reason why some employees help themselves to things is due to them not being well off themselves so they think they deserve it for free because someone just gave it away. Yes, I'm so glad to have it back on. I can finally get the stack of dishes by the sink washed and I can take a shower tomorrow morning, then start the giant pile of laundry. That sounds rough, I've never had to go without water for that long, I think I'd go mental. I think they will stick with the payment plan because the wife takes care of all the bills and she keeps on top of things pretty well, it's the husband who kind of does things whenever he can find the time.

My favorite Palmer episode is deff when his father in law was trapped with them for Christmas and he finally told him off because he was being such a jerk! Oh and when they all met Gibb's dad (I always loved him from way back on The Waltons). I remember Ziva and McGee could not wait to tell Tony and Abby. They both yelled "Gibbs has a father" lmao! I need to go back and start watching old episodes again. Starting with season 2. Oh it is always amazing how badly they can mess up the simple orders. I remember ordering nachos from taco bell and asking for extra sour cream. Not only did I not get the extra sour cream, but I didn't get ANY. Instead they gave me gauc and I hate guac :( Dang that rent is way too crazy for me! Too bad his mom still holds a grudge over that sigh I can understand that and it is terrible when people need things but can't afford to buy used donated items. Some of these places are just too concerned with profit. Especially when so many of the people who work there are volunteers who are not even being paid. that was the position I was in. I had to "volunteer" in order to get insurance for my daughter. yeah it was horrible! Never want to deal with that again. At least one of them knows how to get things done!

Helped neighbour do laundry, hung out together. Took it easy today did a bit of cleaning & packing but not feeling well, pretty weak. Big week ahead, super busy... can't wait till the weekend :P

I need to get some stuff done this week too. Mostly phone calls. Amazing how many people do not answer their phones anymore. Just a lot of voice mails :(

It's a royal pain having to try to contact people at times. Fri I got answers but not what I was hoping for... thought I'd get an increase $72/month and instead got $26... ok it's nice but less than what I thought. Why? turns out I would have needed to be on disability 66months (5.5 years) so I'll eventually get the amount but in 2 years x.x I could have really used the extra $ but it's ok.

Mon knitting & getting apart ready, Tues workout hell trying to get to food bank, Wed asthma specialist & helper/cook, Thurs outing, Fri interview prep help & funeral in evening. I really want the week to just fly by and be next weekend.

Don't spend that giant windfall all in one place :P pace yourself! I am still waiting to find out if Emily is going to receive any help. It is taking way too long!
