It's an institution... bureaucracy has a horribly slow speed when YOU need things done but they're always in a hurry when THEY need stuff... anyways, trying to relax so I won't dwell on the subject otherwise I'll be grumpy. I'm already dealing with digestive issues today that made me pretty weak... trying to finish quests then a movie then sleep.

Yeah if I owed them money they would be all over me! A movie and sleep are always good.

I need to start rewatching that show too, along with Criminal Minds, but I need to finish watching Hawaii Five-0 first. I think I vaguely remember watching part of that Christmas episode with Palmer. Eww, I hate guac too, and how does a person mess that up. Then again, Chris and I have ordered pizza from Pizza Ranch, waited over an hour to have it delivered only to find out that they left off half the toppings. He called them back and they apologized and made the correct pizza for us, but it took them over another hour to deliver it. We found somewhere else to get our pizza because we were tired of waiting over an hour every time. There were a few cheaper one bedroom apartments to rent, the kind where your kitchen is in your bedroom and your bed is practically your couch. They were under $400 a month but they were in pretty shoddy parts of town. It is pretty bad that the in-laws hold a bit of a grudge over that, but I wouldn't be surprised is they are upset that I haven't driven 2 hours to visit them during this deployment. I'm sure my MIL has probably complained to Chris about how I haven't come over to visit them and spend a few nights. Sorry, but if they can't be bothered to come here and the only time I see them is at some family event that I have to drive to, I have zero interest in driving two hours to visit. It is terrible. Some thrift stores look at the brands and price according to that. $15 for a pair of used Nikes, no thanks, $40-$60 for a pair of Miss Me jeans....I'll pass. It's crazy. There was a thrift store I visited in Galway that had decent prices on everything and all the profit when straight to a local charity and I think some of the people who worked at that thrift store also volunteered for that charity. I wonder if two of the thrift stores I go to only have volunteers working, because some of the employees don't really seem to care about being super helpful. I can only imagine. I wash washing my hands with bottled water and using bottled water to brush my teeth. Cold water and mint toothpaste do not go together well. I was at least able to go to my parents' place to take a shower, but there's only so many times I can do that before it just gets annoying. Technically I needed another shower before Friday because my hair was starting to look a little greasy but I didn't want to pack a shower bag again. Yes, I always text the wife whenever I have any questions or run into any problems because I know she'll get it taken care of.

I went bowling with a friend today and then watched movies at her house. Now I'm off to bed and hopefully I'll fall asleep quickly.

Gibbs and the team were helping a pregnant woman of course lol. So many shows have pregnant women in labor for Christmas story lines. I have no idea. Extra sour and extra guac sound nothing alike! Oh dang that is a long wait. We are lucky enough to be about 5 minutes away from a Pizza Hut. I love their pizza. Yeah it is ridiculous that they expect you to do all the work when it comes to visiting. That is a really long drive. Especially this time of year when weather can be so unpredictable. OMG can you imagine getting snowed in with them for a week?!?!? Ahhh sorry for the awful thought lol. Everything used should be treated as used no matter what the label says. A lot of the pricey name brand stuff isn't even all that great new. Trying to use bottled water for everything is horrible. I remember it being such a pain. So glad it is in the past :D I don't blame you. Deff go to the most responsible person. Sounds like a good time hugs night and hopefully sleep well!

I re-watch Hawaii Five-0 from the start every time a new season is added to Netflix to refresh my memory of everything that's happened on the show. I'm about to start season 8, so maybe once I finish that season I can start watching NCIS. It was a terrible wait, especially when we were both really hungry. Eventually we started driving to the place, placing our order then went shopping, but it still took over an hour for the pizza to be made. I like pizza from Pizza Hut but I have to have the garlic parmesan sauce, marinara upsets my stomach. It is, especially when my pickup isn't as fuel efficient as it used to be but I think that's because another spark plug is about to go out. The 2 hour drive is awful when I don't want to get to my destination and even worse when the weather is bad. I would hate to be stuck with them for a week and my parents wouldn't enjoy having to take care of my dog and cat for that long either. I'm honestly not really looking forward to the in-laws 'taking me out to lunch or dinner' for my birthday because I have to meet them at the restaurant which is an hour drive. I don't mind paying a little more for something at a thrift store if it looks like it's almost brand new, but if it's super worn out and still priced high just because of the brand, I pass. I don't know how many things my mom and I have found at thrifts stores that should have just been thrown away. I think sometimes we find 5 items in one place that should have been tossed. I considered washing my hair with bottled water but I wasn't ambitious enough and I didn't really feel like taking a washcloth bath. The wife is the most responsible but she can come across as pretty rude sometimes. She called me today because she wasn't happy about how much they had to pay to cover the leak and couldn't understand how I didn't notice it. Sorry but if Chris and I didn't live here, you would have been paying for the whole leak or more, if it took even longer to notice it. It was fun. I didn't sleep as well, nyquil didn't really kick in, but I've discovered that I don't have a cold but have been having another allergic reaction to corn dust from the range cube pellets my dad has been feeding our cattle.

We do that with Supernatural :D I have all of the seasons on DVD except for the last 2. I still need to get those. I told Emily and now she wants to try the garlic parmesan sauce. I am just worried about it because she is so dang picky. For times like this I wish they sold pizza by the slice just so we could try it out first. On the bright side you get a free meal :D at least that is something. but they really should find a place closer to you. Is there any way you could pick a place closer and say you would really like to go there? Same! I don't buy things just for the brand. I need my stuff to last! Some places don't care what they put out. It is like they just want the shelves to look full and if it actually sells then that is just a bonus. Washing hair in cold water is the worst! I don't like anything cold on my head. Who would think that they had to go out and inspect everything all the time. Especially with all the rain. As landlords it is their job to stay on top of things. Who knows how old those pipes are. Oh no :( anything you can do about it?

I still need to get seasons 5-8 of Hawaii Five-0 on DVD. I'm hoping they release it in a 4 season set like they did with 1-4, but it's crazy how expensive a single tv series is on DVD. I also need to get all seasons of CSI: New York. That's the only CSI show I could stand to watch. I think it's garlic parmesan sauce....or at least something similar to that. I'll admit, I didn't think I would like the sauce since I'm not a big fan of garlic, but it's really good. 😊 I love the Italian Cheesestick Pizza from Gambino's too. I can eat a whole pizza in one sitting....though I don't think I can anymore since I've gotten a little more sensitive to dairy. Yeah, I'll get a free meal, but after driving an hour there and an hour back home, is it really still free? The problem is, there really isn't anywhere close to home to eat that has decent food. There's fast food places, 3 bars, and a couple restaurants but the restaurants have been hit or miss lately with the food. I think they suggested the town that's an hour away from me because it's also just an hour drive for them, so they are taking my advice of finding somewhere in the middle that we can meet. But I was meaning that for big family gatherings, not taking one person to lunch. Oh well, I just need to remember to tell them where I want to eat, but I'm sure I'll get an are you sure. I've decided I want to eat at Rib Crib that day, because the food gets served relatively fast so I won't have to sit awkwardly with them for too long. Maybe I can do some shopping afterwards. There are a few things I'll buy for the brand but only from thrift stores. There are a few western jeans brands that are really durable but are ridiculously expensive brand new. I've found maybe 10 pairs for anywhere from $1 to $5, which isn't bad for a pair of jeans. And some places like to split up things that should be sold together so they can make more money. Any time I find multiple items being sold separately, I try to place them near each other so they can maybe be bought as a set by someone. I hate cold water on me anywhere in general, I tend to have a knee jerk reaction when cold water hits my skin....or cold lotion if I'm getting a massage. If I have to wash my hair with cold water, I try to just keep the cold water on my head even if it means I'm doing a yoga move to do it. That's exactly what my parents said, that they should be coming out more often to check on things. I told Chris what the wife told me and he said that that was just rude and if they have a problem with anything else they can talk to him when he gets back but until then, they can just be polite or be quiet. I have no clue how old the pipes are, it would depend on when that water hydrant was put in, which could have been back in the 70's or earlier. Well, tomorrow I won't be going out to help with chores or feed my horse because mom and I are going shopping, but the next few days I think I'll just be feeding my horse in the morning. The other option is to take my daily allergy pill and where a mask if I have to be around the pellets. but for now, I'll take a benadryl before I go to bed and see if that helps any. I just have a cough and stuffy/runny nose throughout the day and terrible drainage in the morning. I'll see Wednesday morning if things are starting to clear up. It's just weird that I didn't get a rash this time because the dust landed on my skin.

I know. Some of them are crazy expensive. It sounds really good, but you never know. One day we are deff going to try it :D Good point. Well at least they did make a little easier for you. Sounds like a good plan. Hopefully you will get a great meal! Yeah those are good prices for jeans. I guess after having to take so many cold showers the idea of using it on my body at all is awful!! She deff needs to treat you better since you are paying to live there. I hope it helps. Is there any way to change the food pellets?

Hey and Hi everyone waves

I want the week to end. I've been weak & ill... today with the problematic weatherI couldn't use my cart to go to the food bank so I used a backpack... was a bit easier but winded up collapsing back home with a dizzy spell. Trying to recover but I have big days ahead including funeral Fri. I just want the week to be over. On a positive note... if all goes well the new distribution site for the food bank should be open in March (supposed to be Aug of last year) so only a few more months of this.
