Millie was still torn between the three dresses. "Perhaps I'll get all three." She wandered over to the boy's section and picked up a few thick robes. "I think Emmett would like these. He is always cold at Durmstrang." She saw a few other robes that caught her eye but she decided it was time to walk away. She smiled at both Zoe () and Chell () "Are we all set here?"

Zoe decied to go to the wool shop to say hello to Niamh (). She didn't know Niamh and decided not to follow Zoe, so she gave a cheerful wave. "I think I'll go look at Quidditch stuff. See if I can find some gifts for Emmett. I wish I knew how to knit or crotchet, but I don't even have time to learn. Do you know how to do either, Chell?"

Before she could forget, she dug out 5 more galleons and a few sickles and placed them in the honestly box. She had purchased more than she expected and she still wanted to help those who didn't have as much.

They were still standing by the robes shop when Elizabeth () asked to join them. "Of course" Millie said cheerfully. "There are a lot of really nice robes in there. I got some really thick, warm ones for my boyfriend at Durmstrang and a few for myself".

"I don't, unfortunately," Chell admitted to Millie (), "I wish I did though! I think it'd be really cool to be able to make my own clothes or accessories." She decided to skip Spindlewarps Wool Shop, and waved to Zoe () as she left to say hello to her friend at the booth. She admired all of the neatly displayed items at a distance.

She must have totally zoned out because she jumped slightly when Elizabeth () spoke, "Oh! Of course!" Chell grinned, "I think we were just about to head over and check out the Quidditch booth. You in?"

"I would love to learn it too but I don't have time. Maybe I'll try to learn over the next break" she said to Chell() about knitting). She thought about taking a look at what the shop had to offer, but decided against it. She waited for Elizabeth () to finish at the robes shop, in case she wanted to go to the Quidditch booth

"Hi, Elizabeth," Zoe said as she made her way over to Nimah. "They have some great dress robes. Ye can try them on in the girl's bathroom." She saw the girl eyeing the dresses. Zoe was sure the two she got would fit and if they didn't, she'd adjust them with magic. She didn't have any dress robes after all.

"Okay Millie, Chell, see you there."

Zoe had not heard either comment or she'd would have offered to help the girls learn to knit. Her mother taught her and she'd been knitting since she was a little girl.

Magnus came down sleepily to the Great Hall. His mother made quidditch supplies so it was doubtful he'd need anything there, but he planned to look. And he knew several people who knitted so he planned to get them some wool. Possibly the least interesting place for him was the robe shop but it never hurt to look. Making his way over to the qudditch booth, he waved to the girls there. "'Ello ladies," he said.

Millie nodded at Zoe (). “See you shortly”.

As Zoe left, Magnus approached the table. She could fell his exhaustion, so she decided to tone down her greeting. “Hey, Magnus, how you?” She hope the greeting doesn’t make her sound uninterested but she didn’t want to come off too cheerful to someone who was still tired.

Magnus gave a large yawn. "Sup Mills?" he said, "stayed up late meself working on omework. You?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you", Elizabeth said with a tense voice when the girl () jumped slightly at her arrival. Had she become that intimidating over the past few months? But the grin on the girl's face reassured her and Elizabeth relaxed a bit - it was nothing personal. "I think so. I'm not good at Quidditch, but the capes are cool", she replied amused and now smiled, "I'm Elizabeth by the way." She quickly glanced over to the different types of clothing at Madame Malkins booth before turning her attention to the group again. ( ) "I think it's lovely that you care so much about your boyfriend and I hope he appreciates the robes.", she added and now wondered if she should have gotten some stuff for Corvus as well...but then, he was quite odd about his clothes and preferred to shop such stuff alone. She sighed shortly and nodded at the remark of Zoe. "I should have thought of that.", she added with a crooked smile, "but I guess my wardrobe is already quite full. I only have space for this pair of gloves I got." She laughed lightly at her own joke and looked over to Magnus who just arrived. The two had never really spoken much to each other. He looked a bit tired as well. "Hello Magnus", she said and wondered if he was really tired because of homework or something else - but Elizabeth had never been good at Astronomy and the different phases of the moon weren't that important to her.

Zoe nodded at Elizabeth's comment and continued. She wondered what it would be like to have that many clothes? If she had more funds and that many options, would she be more into fashion? Would fashion be something of interest to her? Maybe she should look for a fashion book to explore this errant thought of hers?

"Ey, Elizabeth," Magnus said waking up a bit more. In truth, he had stayed up late, but the second full moon in January was not far off and it did worry him. The super blue-blood moon, it was being called. Super moon were stronger, harder on him. He wasn't looking forward to it. "Like quidditch then?" He had no idea what to speak with her about.

"Oh! No, no. I was just caught up in a daydream is all," Chell apologized, "Nice to meet you, Elizabeth ()! I'm Chell," she continued "I'm not so great at the sport either, but I hear they have some spiffy jerseys of famous teams that may be interesting to check out!" She hoped she could find one of her favorite team: the Harpies. She hadn't been to a match yet, but dreamed of going sometime this season. "Do you guys have a favorite team?" she wondered. ()

"Hello, Magnus ()," she greeted the sleepy boy in a cheerful, but quieter tone. She knew her typically overly-enthusiastic personality could be a lot to handle, especially to someone just waking up, so she tried her best to tone it down as to not be a disturbance. "Did you finish your homework okay?" she asked.

"Sup Chell?" Magnus asked. His fellow ravenclaw was pretty in line with his personality. "Yeah, I think so. Ain't sure I got all those Goblin's right in me 'istory of magic omework," he said in his thick cockney accent, "but I think I got a perfect score in me Charms omework, so that kinda makes up for it." Ow bout you? Get all your work done all right?"

Niamh was still staring at the yarn when Zoe ran up to her. "I've started sewing," she replied, "but I love the idea of crochet.... think it might be a bit challenging though." She picked up a skein of purple never-tangle yarn, and ran her hands through it.

"I spotted a book." She found the book easily and handed it to Niamh. "I do nee know how to crotchet, but I know how to knit and can teach ye."

Niamh flicked through the book, "maybe knitting sounds a bit easier then," she replied, "although those needles look like semi-lethal weapons!" She picked up a couple of skeins of yarn, "what needles would I need then?"

Zoe giggled and picked up a knitting book. "Aye they do, but they are nee too bad. Lewis likes to hide my metal ones in his pouch so if they do nee hurt a niffler, ye should be okay." She picked out a burgundy ball. "I'll use this one to teach ye. We can sit at the Ravenclaw bench and I can show ye."

Niamh pulled out some coins from her pocket and put them in the honesty box. "That's ok then, if it doesn't harm a Niffler then Lick, Rish and Fudge would be ok with them. Do you knit with magic?"

"Yeah, shouldn't be a problem. Sometimes, but I prefer to knit without magic," Zoe admitted. "I've been doing it since I was a wee lassie, before I ever learnt I had magic."

Millie smiled at Magnus () "I was studying too but decided to go to bed early. I was really tired last night. I could kind of go for a nap".

"Yeah, I love spoiling Emmett and he enjoys it." She told Chell (). He won't let on but he really appreciates when I pick out some warm robes for him while he is away at Durmstrang. He likes the fine Scottish wool and knowing I think about him.

We do. We root for the German National Team. My mum is from Berlin. That's how I met Emmett. I was visiting my oma and opa and his family had just moved in a few houses down."

The two walked to the booth and Millie spotted a pair of really nice leather gloves and knee pads for a keeper. "He plays keeper for his house at Durmstrang. He'll really like those." She debated for a moment. They had to be expensive and while she had put quite a bit of money in the box, she didn't want to take too much. She stared at them, "I'll get them. He'll really like them and will get some use".

After placing them in her basket, she noticed two wool German National Team scarves. She picked up the two white and purple scarves and nodded. "He'll like one of these too." She noted the red phoenix emblem embroidered on the end. She added two pairs of socks.

She took a look at her basket and nodded. "I got quite a bit today." She looked back the wool booth and came up with an idea. "Perhaps I'll go look at the wool. Maybe I can knit Emmett a German National Team blanket. It can't be too difficult, right? I should probably find a book or someone to show me how though. Maybe Zoe can?"

"I probly should've gone to bed early," Magnus admitted.

Zoe sat down with Nimah and took out her niffler which she then rescued her knitting needles from. "So the first thing ye needa do is learn the cast on. It's yer basic stitch. Lemme show ye and then ye try." She showed her several times until she had about 15 stitches on the needle. "Now ye try."

Elizabeth looked a bit worried at the boy's condition (), but then, she didn't know him well enough. "My father took me to Quidditch games whenever Pride of Portree played. It was good, but I don't consider myself a fan. Flying lessons made me dislike that sport a bit.", she replied with a wry smile, thinking about the previous flying lessons - or more her attempts, "fear of heights and stuff." It was kind of odd to admit this, but she had the feeling that most of the students already knew this and she couldn't care less that she was bad at flying. Elizabeth was relieved that she didnt scare Chell () and smiled. "Well, I have to say that the jerseys do look great", she added amused and stroke over the fabric while she listened to Millies() words as well. "That Scottish wool surely is something. I'm amazed how soft it is...I always thought it would be rather itchy.", she explained and looked at the different items. She didn't felt any urge to buy more, but she enjoyed 'window-shopping' and spending time with other people. Her eyes found Paddy () now who seemed to be examining the purchasable items at the Quidditch booth. Again, they haven't spoken much before, but Elizabeth didn't think this should be an obstacle. "Hello Paddy. Have you found anything good yet?", she inquired politely.

Millie gave a supportive smile to Magnus (), "I was thinking of getting some coffee. Would you like a cup? Maybe some tea or hot chocolate?" She felt stupid when she realized he wasn't "studying" as he said. "My dad taught me a spell that increases the caffeine without giving you a nasty crash later. I haven't tried it yet but I'm willing to give it a go if you are."

"Yeah, you would think Scottish wool would be super itchy but it's not." She said to Elizabeth (). "My aunt lives across the pond and sent me a wool sweater and it felt like it was made of bees. It was terrible. My aunt kept asking if I liked it and I eventually told a white lie that I left it in a class room and when I came back for it, it was gone. I felt bad but what can you do?

"Perhaps I'll take a look at the yarn booth after a spot of coffee. Maybe there are some books to show me how to knit. I guess I'll need some needles too."
