I had a few extra in my vault.

Well, about to hit level 10! Took a week of very dedicated baking to get to here from level 2.

I think the only thing I haven't made is the Baby Bear Chocolate Cupcake, but that's because I am completely out of Cocoa Powder. Eventually, I'll have to bake it so I can feed one to my pet, but that can be eventually. Have a crap ton of Alegarten foods to feed in the mean time.

-- Oh, I no, I hated burning items with super expensive items in it -- I felt like I constantly had bad luck around those levels!! Thank you so much for the detailed burning updates. I very much appreciate it a LOT. hugs I hope moving up through level 11 is easier for you in terms of burning and it moving faster. I think the first few levels are the slowest to burn through (giggles at pun).

Okay, so I did some account searching. Since I haven't sold any baked/burnt items since starting this whole thing, I should have fairly accurate numbers from mid L2 through mid L10. (I went through L1 so long ago that I have no idea if those goods are included in this tally or not.

Burnt: 19 (Cake 7, Bread 7, Cookie 2, Pie 3)

Baked: 107 (Including 29 Bee Hive Cornbreads, 19 Rustic Vetan Orange Ginger Bread, and 16 Spinach Egg Pies.)

So I have an overall burn ratio of about 15% it seems. Of course, since I wasn't tallying exactly when things were made per tier, I'm not sure if that number has been slowly decreasing or not.

You have counted the number of items you have baked? That is impressive!! Well, if you start to keep tally from this point on, per level, then you'll be able to calculate the burn rate per level and see if it goes down.

Well at least it seems more cakes and breads have burnt than other types, that is interesting.

Well, I cheated a bit. I used the front page post to hover over every baked good to jump to account search. From there, it was just adding. ;P As for cakes and breads burning more, I think that might just be a side effect of mainly baking cornbreads and such. I'm sure it would be a more even skew if I had made equal amounts of everything.

As for keeping track... Well, that wedding HA is because I'm getting married tomorrow. (Yay) So I'm going to be gone on my honeymoon for the next two weeks and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on at all, let alone bake. But theoretically, when I hit level 15 I can do another account sweep and determine a new burn ratio.

Level 15 and I just got this: Oh No! You burned the Cream Filled Baby Booty Bread!

Woo woo! Finally back and with enough time to start baking again! (What the heck happened to the baking powder that it doubled in price!)

Question for you guys: I just hit level 10 today and have quite a few of the lower level ingredients kicking around. Would it be better to attempt to trade/sell them in exchange for level-appropriate ingredients, or would it be better to just use them for lower level items that I've never made before?

My strategy so far has been to pick a fairly cost-efficient or easy-to-restock recipe within 3 levels of where I am and make that until I run out of ingredients, but I still haven't figured out if that is actually the best way lol.
