If I'm understanding your question correctly, then I think it often depends on bake time. If you're looking at items that are in the same level, then you'll definitely notice different XP gains per item. Like, look at level 7 items. You have the Bee Hive Cornbread which takes 75min to bake, vs the Baby Bear Chocolate Cupcake, which is only 30min. You can expect to see your level go up much more baking cornbreads vs cupcakes, regardless of number of ingredients.

No one knows truly how XP is calculated, but it tends to favor the longer bakes and higher level things.

Admittedly, I haven't been baking much the last few days. The battle reset has me running around like mad on here.

I haven't been as much either. I've baked at least one of everything. I would love to keep leveling up, but I'd like to see new foods.

Yes, the longer something takes to cook, the more experience points you will earn. I would try to bake something that takes a long time to cook and is also cost efficient. C:

Theoretically yes- longer bake time will yield more experience points. We don't have an exact mapping to determine what items are best, but that's the general feel.

Also I hope achievements hold off... I'm only level 15! Started baking because I also had an inkling for incoming achievements.
