"I'm alright. No complaints." He smiled. "Mum was on the 'Olly 'Ead 'Arpies, she's amazing. So I thought I'd see if I could get in some extra practice and hone more skills. There's always something new ta learn. You?"

Sauvage nodded her head, recognizing the Holly Head Harpies as a Quidditch team. "Zat is amazing! What position did your mom play?" Then Magnus asked what she was dong here and she looked down at the ground, saying, "Ah, well..." She kicked at the ground awkwardly. " I don't 'ave much experience on zee broom because I am so used to 'aving flying 'orses around and...I don't know. Quidditch eez not very populair in my family."

"She played Chaser." Then the girl looked upset and explained here reason. "'Ey, nothing wrong with that. And I'll 'ave you know, the 'Arpies practiced a couple o times on peguas so you know you're 'alf way there. Plus broom ridin' is fun and you'll get the 'ang of it quickly.

Sauvage smiled sweetly at Magnus's encouragement. "I am just embarrassed is all. Everyone seems to be very into Quidditch 'ere and it was not so much zee case at Beauxbatons."

"Not everyone. I know a few 'ere that ain't. I mean I'm not gonna tell on 'em but seriously its all good. I mean you start somewhere right? There's nothin' to be embarrassed about."

Fade smirked at Magnus () and wondered if their bird friends would object to a screaming contest. Although a parrot would most certainly out scream an old crow. That would also mean getting mom to let Mags spend the weekend at their incredibly non-magical residence. Hanging out with wizarding families was a lot more fun.

Fade pulled his choice broom from the pile and waved hello to . He hadn’t seen her for a while and was glad to know she was OK, or at least well enough to wana fly. Soon after Paddy arrived, Merlin () turned up and looked a little less than enthusiastic about the waiver. It made sense, but if you didn’t read the entire thing you had less to worry about. At least in Fade’s mind anyway. He had developed a respect for the other boy during the last workshop and figured someone who could actually fly would be a natural at Quidditch.

Hopefully all these skilled players wouldn’t make him look like a fool in front of the cool older kid () and . “Sauvage!” His voice cracked again and he blushed not having meant to shout. Trying to play it cool he waved and trotted closer. “I mean, hey. Hi. Didn’t know you liked Quidditch.” His face was still a bit red.

Magnus wouldn't care where they hung out, he was just as happy with less magic as with lots. Though perhaps chaos might be harder to invoke, he was sure he was up for the challenge--especially with Fade about. Magnus was thinking about hoping on the broom and doing a practice run but he wasn't sure if that'd be okay or not so he stood and waited--itching to get in the air again.

Merlin nods. "I love flying, don't get me wrong. I just prefer not to use brooms and use wings." He grins. "I'm fairy good with a broom, just not good with the sport."

"Hey Mag, I made it...I almost skip it to be honest, but you know I like perfecting all the skills and well this is another one. To be the best wizard, I most master all- even quidditch." He made a funny face.

Merlin looked at the girl with jeans and smiled. "Not very prepared for this, huh? There is a bit of equipment there, I think you will need it."

Merlin looked around and saw other familiar faces like Fade and other students that were reluctant to get inside. He smirks thinking it was odd that he entered and those that actually love the game were not even there yet. "This is going to be fun. I may end up a player." He laughed. "Do you think I may end up liking brooms Mag? I highly doubt it but, who knows if I change my mind."

"I'm glad you didn't. I mean we need all the boys we can get. Plus, flying..." He gave Merlin's question a good thought and slowly replied, "Well brooms would provide some flying that might be a bit more er, flashy--or you know faster turns and such than what...other methods can provide, so yeah, I think there's a good possibility you'll end up liking 'em."

"Well I know how to fly in a broom, just don't know tricks...I don't trust it much as to turn and make the sort of things..a dragon would when flying." He smiled mischievously. "I am willing to be more open minded about it and try not to think what brooms are truly used for..to clean." He giggled. "I still rather fly on a thestral any day."

Fade () walked up to her and Magnus (), saying hello. Except, his voice cracked and he started blushing and it was really cute. Fade's blush made his face look like a strawberry; Sauvage tried so hard not to giggle - and probably unsuccessfully for that matter - as she responded: "Well, no. I came because I am not very familiar wiv flying on broomsticks, so I thought zat per'aps zees would be a good time to learn?" She shrugged as her self-doubt became apparent and her response turned into a question. "Now am I thinking zat eet was not such a good idea now zo."

Finishing her pity party tirade, she nodded pathetically at Merlin () who pointed out her being unprepared. She wasn't hurt by his words; she just hated how obvious of a beginner she was - and they hadn't even gone in the air yet! She replied with a meek "thank you" and looked bewilderingly at all the gear, wondering where to even start.

"Well, I'm gonna clean the floor with ya up in the air," Magnus said with a smirk, "at least on brooms."

"Don't say that. It's a good idea. Stay, please." Magnus started getting gear out and unceremoniously putting it on the girl. When he had the guards on her legs and arms he stepped back. "Look now you are ready and you can't possibly leave cos you don't know 'ow ta get it off." Okay, she could get the stuff off but well he was hoping she'd stay.

Merlin felt bad suddenly, did he hurt the girl's feelings? It wasn't his intention but judging by the look on her face, she was uncomfortable. "Of course it is a good idea, I came to learn myself."

Merlin smiled at Magnus comment. "Well I'm sure you can beat me in broom flight, but I'm not looking to beat anyone but myself and improve my rusty skills." Then he smiled broader. "Who knows, maybe by the end of the workshop I can be as good as you."

His eyes lesiurely focused to Sauvage, however, when he noticed she seem lost with the gear. Of course, the Ravenclaw prefect was already on top of it.

Eros made his way to the edge of the pitch and looked to the group. "We'll be starting in a bit. Any late arrivals will just have to catch up. I'm going to assume you all have read the waiver when you signed in?," he rhetorically asked. "At least, I hope you did. You basically just signed your souls over to me," Eros added (jokingly) with stern, serious face for anyone who skipped or skimmed over the waiver.

"Anyway, before we start, has anyone not taken Flying class with Mr. Caswell? Or NOT know how to fly?," Eros paused to see if anyone would raise their hand.

"I'm just joking Merls," Magnus said turning beat red. "You probly will be. I don't think I'm all that great. And since werewolves don't fly I know you can beat me as a dragon easily." He felt like such a prat. Eros was then asking if anyone hadn't known how to fly and the boy put his hands in his pocket as he looked solidly at the ground.

She jumped at first when Magnus began fastening guards to her arms, not expecting the sudden intrusion, but her mild shock quickly melted away into grateful laughter. He had just saved her the embarrassment of trying to figure out how to put it all on. "Thank you, Magnus," she said. "And 'ow could I now leave, knowing you would go through all zee trouble to dress me up?" She gave a little twirl to show off her guards and then posed with her fists up by her head, arms curled and muscles flexing. "Now, I'm ready!"

Sauvage hesitantly raised her hand at the question. "I 'ave not taken zee class wiv Mr. Caswell. And...well, I know 'ow to fly, but just zee basics. It 'as been awhile."

Magnus smiled. "Good, you should stay." Then she was giving a twirl and the boy nodded trying to not look too hard because she looked pretty and he had a girlfriend and his best friend was interested in the girl. "Yeah," he said "looks great."

Outfit Not Found

Gaia was not very happy as she made her way outside. She had missed plenty of stuff already and hanging out with her friends, but this was too much. "Nothing like the best sport in the world workshop being taught by your nemesis" Gaia kept grumbling under her breath as she walked across the door and took a deep breath. Flying will cure all her troubles. She looked around and kicked off the ground at top speed barely missing some of the trees. After a few loop around the Quidditch pitch Gaia made her way down to the group getting together.

"It would seem I am right on time... I was hoping to be a little late." Gaia looked at Eros () as she gracefully dismounted her broom and went to hug her friends. "I am glad I made it. It would seem I keep missing everything going on here. What did I miss?" Gaia made it a point to pay attention to her friends and wave hi to the other students she recognized.

Magnus excepted the hug happily. It had been awhile since she had really hung out with Gaia--she was so busy. "I should've foreseen you coming," he said with his most mischievous smile. "Not much, just getting gear on and signing your life and children away..." he pointed to the wavier form. "Other than that nothing."

Gaia rolled her eyes "Figures". Gaia grinned at her friend "You should have seen me coming. I might have to be more of a spectator but I wanted to join some workshops. This term has been really busy for me and time has gotten away from me. I totally missed going to the forbidden forest and promised myself I would not miss this one... even if Eros is here." Gaia looked at Eros but quickly returned her attention to Magnus () "I brought some lemon water and towels. Gotta stay hydrated as I school you in Quidditch." She laughed and nudge her friend.
