() Gaia considered the question for a moment and smiled. "If you lose... you will have to spend an afternoon with me. You may choose the activity or what we do. I am not a complete monster." Gaia laughed "We can go last. I don't mind giving you some time to figure out what you would like to do." She sat on the grass again and nudge Magnus () "you should give it a try. I have a feeling you will do great!"

"Gaia," he said in utter astonished awe, "you are crazy." He laughed and shook his head. "Yeah I totally will go for it. Cos I can't get better if I don't try, right? Onestly, it bugs me I didn't do as well in the first one."

Merlin heard Eros and what should be done and shook his head. "I don't think I can do this, I am the clumsiet person in the wizarding world so in order to keep everyone safe, I better step out." He sighs and throws the broom in a corner.

Oh gods she had agreed with him. () Fade’s hair beneath the mud turned a shade of purplish pink and his face turned red. What had he honestly expected, and why was he still so nervous around her. “Thanks.” He grinned as his face cleared of mud and shook some more off his arms, although he was almost entirely covered. When she was a safe distance away he shook his hair, now back to normal, and dug in his pocket to find his wand to do a little more cleaning up. “They say mud’s good for you right?” He wasn’t asking anyone more just thinking aloud. Time for some water and a rest.

The new course was interesting. For whatever reason Fade was feeling excited instead of intimidated. With what little amount of time he had spent on a broom: Mostly at school and when visiting Mags () or . He found it easier to flow when he was going fast. Even better, the two best flyers were challenging each other to a round. Whatever else happened those two would certainly entertain.

"Ey," Magnus said with a frown and went over to Merlin, "run the course with me. Come on, you'll be okay, I promise." He lowered his voice so only Merlin could hear and whispered, "you could do this as a dragon right? Think dragon." Louder he said, "Since we are making bets, wanna do one?"

(I'll be happy to help if you wanna go with Mags, you know I'm online a lot.)

Sensing he needed it, Sauvage left and walked back with some water for Fade. " 'ere you go." She handed him the water and looked over at the new course. "I don't know eef I can do zees one. The first course wuz 'ard, but at least I wuz by myself so I wuz not a burden to anyone." She looked at the ground, then back up at Fade. What she said next was in a hushed tone so as to not embarrass him in front of everyone, but at the same time she did enjoy teasing him. "By zee way, you look good wiv pink 'air."

Merlin bit his lower lip. "It's not that I want to quit, I'm just worried to hurt someone. It is fine if I'm alone, but you know I'm an accident magnet. If you get hurt because of me I wouldn't forgive myself." He lowered his eyes. "Still a bet sounds like fun...maybe if you chase me since I don't have to touch you to take the flag..maybe there is less percent chance that I will kill you." He was still reluctant. "Yet I understand if you want to just stay away from my broom flight." He smiled while thinking about dragon form. "If I could do it that way..I surely would win." He grins. "But since that's not allowed and it would be unfair...then I can only imagine I'm in my winged form."

"I'm a tough one ta kill Merls," he reminded his friend, "there's mud and several other people to spell me if something should 'appen. I'll chase ya, in the air is the only way you'd ave a chance cos I'd beat you on the ground." A fair amount of truth and a little bit of cockiness in that statement. "Hmm... wager... if I win...you 'ave to make me something amazing."

Merlin laughed. "Well in the brooms you are faster too so it would probably be a quick win for you." He laughed some more. "But alright, you chase me." He took a silver flag. "Of course I am silver." He smirks. "What can I possibly do for you? Fly you around school?" He giggled. "The only thing I can do is bake cookies and cakes in my free time, unless you want one of my aging potions, that I am sure you don't need."

"Well you can buy me something if you'd rather. Whatever you can think of, don't 'ave ta cost much or anything. I just like the idea of something finding me something I wouldn't think of. But cooking is good too. I don't need much." He smiled, "But if you win, what would you like?"

Merlin thought it was cute Magnus even asked, if he won, because they both knew that was impossible but in order not to sound too pessimistic he said something. "Well I would like that drawing you owe me." He smiled. "Or, you can just stay alive while we fly out there." He giggled.

"Oh...more time with you. Great," he exaggerate the unenthusiastic tone in his voice when Gaia proposed that he had to do something with her if he loses. "Alright," Eros nodded, not really making the planning of what to do with Gaia if he loses a priority since losing was not a scenario in his mind. She did great with the first course, but he wasn't about to let her out-speed him in this challenge. ()

Eros turned to Merlin when the boy threw in the towel, opting to not participate in the activity. The sixteen year walked slowly towards Mags () and the other Slytherin (). Eros was glad Mags was able to convince Merlin to not quit. The captain wasn't good with encouragements or inspirational talks. "And if at any point you want to try being the chaser, mate, you can go against me, if you dare," Eros added. "You won't need to worry about hurting me. I won't give you the chance," Eros said confidently.

Merlin laughed so hard after listening to Eros said he could chase him. "That would be hilarious! You will finish the curse before I get through the second obstacle!" He couldn't stop laughing but then said. "Fine, I am sure I would never catch up, so it is perfectly safe and I don't want any handicap." He smirks. "If I could fly you other ways...I might even win but this is broomsticks flight and I will stick with the rules."

Magnus laughed, "Mate, I'm fully shading it, it'll take another week but that's not gonna count, so I'll tell you what, if you win, I'll buy a dragon stuffed animal for ya." He decided he would regardless. Then Eros was commenting how he wouldn't let Merlin win and Magnus was deeply amused. "Eros, anyway we can go against each other in the third course?" Okay he didn't have a prayer winning but what the hell.

Merlin rolled his eyes and then said. "Alright, cute. I will get you a wolf plushie then or your very own..puffskein! So it can eat your boogies at nights. What you have always dreamed of!" Merlin was sure the wolf might eat the poor puffskein if he actually gifted him that but just wanted to tease him.

(lol Magnus is winning then? Have time to start or wanna wait?))

Magnus laughed, "I actually do 'ave a stuffed toy wolf. But no to the puffskin ain't nofing going up me nose except me finger." Wait, did he just say that? His face turned bright red.

() Eros smirked when Magnus wanted to go against him later. The captain nodded. "Sure. You might give me a run for my money," Eros admitted, which he normally didn't do. Mags had been performing really well, so far. Mags would definitely a Chaser to look out for in an Quidditch game.

((ooc: Mag is definitely winning! Merlin needs to embrace his inner dragon first in order to excel in flying with a broom, if he can't trust himself, he can't win. I would love to start now but have to get up early for work and it's already past bedtime. Lol))

Merlin was sure Magnus wouldn't like the puffskein but had another thought. "Do you have a butterfly plushie? I think a pretty blue one will fit you." He was a bit scared for saying that, since he knew how the wolf felt about it, yet Merlin thought it was his inner beauty.

[Edit] ((Night)) Merlin nods while smiling. "Yes, I am pretty good at flying in that form but would be a great practice for both of us. since you are smaller and lighter you probably will win but don't worry, I won't turn your broom to ashes if you do. I need to get faster and chasing you is good workout, who knows I might even win."

Eros' comment stunned Magnus. But it also warmed him. The boy was looking solidly at the ground for a few moments. Now the fire was lit and when he looked back up the boy's eyes flickered with determination. "I'll give you all I've got."

A butterfly plushie? "Um, no, I don't 'ave any of those." he said to Merlin, "Why blue?" curious over the colour choice.

"I would like to see Magnis against Eros. I think it would be interesting to see how far Magnus will push himself." Gaia said thoughtful. () "okay are you guys flying or what?" Gaia said with exaggerated impatience and giggled "I am ready for a battle of wolf against dragon. All though betting sof plush animals is kinda weird." Grinning Gaia settled in her spot to watch her friends. ()

"Well then, we have a deal." Gaia grinned at Eros () and winked. "Let me know when my turn comes to school you in the art of flying, Captain ".
