Magnus whispered low enough that only Eirik would hear since he had supernatural hearing, "'e likes 'er but 'e's terrible at flirting. I'm gonna make 'im practice on me." Louder he said, "Vodka is Russian."

He saw Eiriks glance... "What?" the boy demanded, "what'd I'd do?"

Sauvage sat in the chair, fixing her hair. She looped her arm around it and threw the lot of it back behind her head in one fell swoop. She really needed to invest in some hair bands or something. She nodded and smiled excitedly at Fade who finally agreed to draw her sometime. Looking around, she was startled to find that Magnus had already returned and with a new friend as well.

"uh, 'ello." She half-waved to the two of them. "Um, 'ow long 'ave you been 'ere? Wait, no. Forget that." She shook her head nonchalantly. It doesn't matter if they saw her dorky hair flail. If she started to hang out with them more, then they'd probably end up seeing a lot more of those hair mishaps.

"My name is Sauvage," she said to the guy in the green shirt who had returned with Magnus. "I am in 'ufflepuff. And you are...?"

Eirik chuckled, "Yes vodka is Russian, good for you Magnus, top marks. " Eirik nodded in response to Magnus's explanation. Then in a whisper " Just concerned, are you eating enough, feeling ok..? you know I worry."

Then he smiled as the pretty lady introduced herself.

"Pleasure to meet you, Sauvage. I am Eirik Northman, from House Slytherin, " Eirik smiled. "Enjoying the workshop..?" he said, and pointedly looked from her over to Fade and back again, still smiling.

Sauvage's gaze followed Eirik's and she blushed. Sauvage glared at Magnus, knowing he must have had something to do with the new person knowing, even if she could not prove it. She looked back at Eirik, her gaze not quite as pointed as it had been on Magnus, but still knowing. "Why, yes," she said. "Before 'ogwarts, I attended Beauxbatons, so being 'ere today for the discussion about my old school 'as been very interesting and fun." She half smiled, looked back at Fade, and then returned to talking to Eirik. "I'm glad I came today."

Eirik saw the nasty look Sauvage gave Magnus, and he chuckled. "I am a vampire, Miss Sauvage, it's in my nature to...notice..unspoken interactions between people."

He sipped his drink. " I am here for that reason as well. I attended Durmstrang before transferring here over the holiday break. How do you like Hogwarts so far...?"

((EDIT- ooc letting you know sauvage that Eirik is 16 and 6'4", just because I havent interacted with you much and figured you didn't know :) ))

"Oh!" Her eyes lit up. From Durmstrang? A vampire? She wasn't sure which detail interested her more. She suddenly felt a bit foolish and looked down at her feet, crossing and uncrossing her legs. "I 'ave been enjoying myself greatly so far. The people, the professors - everyone is so nice 'ere. And going to 'ogsmeade was so much fun!" She finally looked up from her shoes to see Eirik listening patiently. "There are many tings that I miss about Beauxbatons, too, but it is getting a bit easier. It 'elps that there are so many clubs like dees where I can meet people and make friends. And what about you, Eirik?"

She asked, " 'ow has 'ogwarts been in comparison to Durmstrang?" She figured that she could ask him about being a vampire later, when they'd gotten to know each other better.

"What?" he asked her defensively. He sighed and said calmer, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Magnus rolled his eyes at Eirik and pulled out his sketchbook--resolute to ignore the vampire. He had to rummage for a pencil since Fade had his. He started drawing a shark. Ignoring all the food he had on his plate.

"It is nothing. I just always assume that you are up to no god," she said simply while smiling playfully.

Eirik smiled. "The people here are really nice, and that is very different for me. I am not used to..all this 'kumbaya-ing' that's going on, I'm much more of a 'quiet serial killer loner type' " he said, chuckling.

"But, I am trying to adapt. Magnus here, he has helped...he knows like everyone, and everyone likes him, so...he's my role model for now," he said, smiling at Magnus.

"I do hope it wasn't a tragedy that caused your transfer to Hogwarts...it's seems many of us students have had...events not of our choosing, in placing us here." He couldn't help it, his eyes were glittering.

He heard the little voice in the back of his head telling him to cool it, but he ignored it.

"But certainly not for one such as yourself."

Eirik looked over at Magnus. "Not going to finish that..?"

Sauvage nodded at the statement about Magnus. " 'e really does seem to know everyone." She looked at Magnus then and wondered how that came to be. She was sure his personality played a big factor. He was always so kind and helpful. And understanding in many situations that would make most people cautious.

"Oh, um, no," she said in response to Eirik's guess that she might be here due to unfortunate happenings. "I mean, if you call my mother getting a better paying job that she is very passionate about in the Ministry...and my father finally being able to live in London like 'e 'as always wanted then, yes, I guess you could say it was quite tragic." She thought about what she just said and apologized. "I did not mean to offend anyone else 'oo may 'ave come 'ere in such situations. I am very thankful that there is nothing negative surrounding the reason I came 'ere."

She finished, then tilted her head questioningly, unsure of the vibe she was getting from Eirik. What did he mean by "not for one such as yourself"? And what was going on with his eyes? She directed her questioning gaze to Magnus and then to Fade, hoping someone could clue her in.

He eyed her. "Oh yeah, all ways up to no good," he said with a half smile that he didn't really feel. A role model? Surely Eirik was making fun of him now. Magnus kept going with his shark as if the annoying vampire wasn't talking.

Yes he was bad at flirting but all the looks were getting to be a bit much. Fade rolled his eyes and put down his fork. They had a drawing date, what more did the entourage want? He smirked to himself and was intrigued to discover that Eirik () was in fact a vampire. Up until now he hadn’t heard him actually confirm it. Fade of course hadn’t been assertive enough to outright ask him. Interesting how so many different people could end up in one place at one time. Sitting back he notice how Magnus () wasn’t touching his plate and frowned. For all Fade knew Magnus was too nauseous to eat. He nudged him slightly and handed his pencil back.

Eirik smiled at Sauvage. "Well, you are indeed one of the fortunate ones, how lovely for you, " he said with a silky voice, and leaned back in his chair. His eyes were still glittering wickedly.

He looked over at Magnus "You pissed at me again..?" he whispered, so only Mags could hear him. "What did I do this time..?"

Sauvage started to noticed concerned sideways glances between all the boys, but thought it'd be better not to point it out. She muttered a "thank you" to Eirik, unsure of what else to say in a situation like that. To break free from the confusing atmosphere and to give the guys a a few minutes to talk without her there, she jumped up from her seat and meandered over to the food, grabbing a few small things here and there to taste.

((OOC: Actually, I gotta get off now, too. I have class in 20 minutes that goes till 11pm, so I'll catch up tomorrow as well. Night everyone~ ))

Eirik watched Sauvage get up, a bit flustered, and make her way to the food table. "So, you not talking to me now, Magnus..? " he said, quietly. "Should I just leave..?" He had no idea just what he had done this time to upset the boy...maybe it was just his presence. He mentally shrugged.

When she went to get herself some more food he decided to answer the boys. "Keep it Fade, I picked up another one." Then he gave a glower to Eirik. "Yes, you did. That crap about me being your role model--what was that for? And seriously don't you fink I know I need to eat? Think I survived 72 shifts a year--for over three years cos I don't eat?" (nini Cheshire and Sauvage)

Eirik regarded Magnus with cool eyes. The glitter was still there, but it had hardened them now.

"You think I was ...what...making fun of you by saying your were my role model..? I don't socialize well, if you hadn't noticed, so yeah, I do take some cues from you. Everyone likes you, Magnus, because you are kind and friendly and all that crap I will never be ! "

Eirik's voice had risen, and with an effort, he calmed himself down, and spoke calmly again.

"Yes, I am well aware that you have survived all that hell, and that you know how to take care of yourself. Forgive me for looking out for your continued well being, and you know what..??" he stood up. "FORGIVE ME FOR FREAKING GIVING A CRAP, TOO !! " he yelled, and stormed out of the workshop.

((ooc yeah that would have been other choice swears, but hey, keeping it clean ))

Magnus sighed again... and put his pencil down and follow Eirik. "Stop please." Why was it they always seemed to be at each other's throats? "I'm sorry, I did think you were tryin' ta take the mickey outta me... or I don't know, trying flatter me or something." He looked at the floor. "Everyone keeps shoving food in my face--I got defensive... I'm sorry. I mean you're like a friend, brother and father sometimes and its confusing and sometimes... I don't know which one to expect. But... I do appreciate that you care... really... and I care about you cos you know aforementioned roles you 'ave... so... er please...forgive?"

Eirik immediately stopped when he heard Magnus follow him out. As he listened to the boy's words, his anger faded quickly. When Magnus was finished, he turned, and hugged him.

"I know, it's got to be hard on you, with me being so many different things to you. I really do admire you, Magnus..and I meant it...I will never be the kind person that you are. So I do try, for both our sakes, to be more like you around people..." he looked away, " I'm...just not so good at it. My nature keeps wanting to...run it's own course."

He stepped away from their embrace. "You must get sick of eating so much, huh..? well, maybe next time you won't have to, and we won't have to worry so much about you, ok..? Until then I am freaking out, watching you, waiting for something unexpectedly horrible to happen because of..you know."

He sighed. "I will try not to be so...smothering. ok..? I will try, but I will probably fail horribly many times, " he said with a laugh.

"You want me to go back in there with you..? I mean, hey, I already embarrassed myself, how much worse can it get, " he said with a laugh. " 'Look, that crazy vamp is back ' "

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm a tough nut--just recovering takes a bit o' time is all. You gotta be patient, with the 'ealing and wif me. I get a bit--touchy sometimes, especially when I know I look like this." Magnus gave a cheeky smile. "We fail so we can beat the snot out of each other... And 'onestly we didn't embarrass ourselves with the near fist fight at me workshop? Come on, lets go back in so you can eat that smelly stuff that don't look so good... and I'll eat me waffles and get a bit more protein, okay?"
