"Maybe you'll get another pet if you change houses again," Drew said teasingly to Magnus. "Until then I'll let you play with Dodger when I take him out explor...umm, on walks," he amended with a wink.
At Niki's question about cooking, Drew smiled. "You could ask the house elves for some of your favorite foods, but I'm not sure how many American recipes they know."
Magnus laughed. "Don't think it works that way. I didn't get a pet when I went to Ravenclaw. but I'd like to play with Dodger, if 'e likes me."
"I don't see why he wouldn't," Drew smiled. "He's the friendly sort and so are you."
"Well hopefully he will," Drew said. "Maybe we can find out at the next workshop. I'll try to bring him. You are coming aren't you? I hear Merlin is doing something about the Forbidden Forest. Do you think we'll actually be going into the forest?"
"Cool. Yeah I'm coming... Any chance to do something different you know. Sides... if I wanna sneak... I mean learn what's in there..."
Drew grinned and nodded. "My thoughts exactly. It should be fun and also interesting. I've heard lots of rumors about the forest, but now we might have a chance to find out first hand."
Magnus smiled lightly. "I've never been it it..." but he didn't sound all that convincing.
Drew regarded his friend. "At least not very far?" he guessed, finishing the statement Magnus had left hanging.
Magnus grinned and winked... "Now, why would a prefect go in there..."
Drew snickered and said, "Why to apprehend one of the rule breaking students of course. That sort must be reported you know." He grinned.
"Its true..." putting his hand to his forehead with flare, "some kids just don't know 'ow to behave well. Very sad. And I never did apprehended the boy neither, so will just 'ave to go back in and look for him again."
Nodding, Drew said, "But of course! It's your duty after all. The miscreant must be found."
