"It's Drew," the dark haired boy answered the prefect. "Drew Wilder. And thanks. He made his way over to the seats, eyeing the tables of food as he passed. "I...um...sorta got lost on the way here," Drew admitted with a slight flush.
Merlin smiled. "Of course, Drew! Sorry for the confusion." Merlin smiled when he heard the boy say he got lost. "It's fine, it happens to everyone, you can eat anything you like too and look at the pretty uniform pictures."
Nodding, Drew said, "Alright. I've read a little about all the wizarding schools but this workshop sounded really fun, especially since there was food involved." He grinned. Looking at the pictures on display, Drew commented, "All that blue...reminds me of Ravenclaw. My Mum would love them."
Sauvage giggled at everything Merlin had to say about Beauxbatons. It was sweet to hear someone talk about her old school with such envy and fascination. "I do miss my uniforms a bit, too. It is a bit bizarre to me that the uniforms 'ere are different based on your 'ouse. At Beauxbatons, we all wear the same colors, despite our 'ouses. And I disagree about the small breakfasts- there is far too much food 'ere in the morning. I get full just by looking at it all!"
She laughed and then smiled sadly, looking down at her hands.
"I also miss the winged 'orses and the gardens..." Sauvage drifted into silence thinking about all these things she suddenly "missed". She'd been so busy since her arrival at Hogwarts that she hadn't even thought much about it, but now it seemed to gnaw at her. Perhaps she should try to go visit soon?
Breaking form her reverie, Sauvage smiled sympathetically at Drew. Only having attended Hogwarts for a year now, she still has a tendency to get lost if she doesn't pay attention to where she is walking. so she completely understands what he's going through.
Peering inside the classroom Beren took in the situation before entering. "Good evening" with that she greeted the people in the room.
Curiosity had brought her here. She knew that there were other magical school but not each country had one. Thinking that this will be an interesting inside into other cultures she strolls over to the table where all the other huddled.

Drew smiled back at the other student, noting her accent and overhearing the mention of Beauxbatons. "Did you go there?" he asked curiously. "And you were allowed to help care for the winged horses?? Lucky!" the boy said wistfully. Drew was in the process of helping himself to a fruit tart and some water with lemon when the door opened again. So he wasn't the last one to arrive, the boy thought happily. He offered a smile.
Vivian swept into the room, her typical icy expression on her face and Stavia, her stoat, peeking out from under her hair. "My apologies for my late arrival; my harp recital for the Alumni Tea ran over schedule as they requested additional sets." She swept a brief bow in courtesy, and took a seat with the group. Her wand surreptitiously flicked out and snagged a treat from a table, which she calmly began to feed to Stavia in her lap.
recognizing some faces from the common room, Beren feels a little more at home. Answering the smile that greeted her, she conjures up a drink of sparkling lemon water and looks at the pictures of the robes that the french students are supposed to wear. Sighting silently beren thinks how happy she is, that no uniform is really required here and she can wera some comfy clothes during her free time.
"The jackets look nice" she adds. "Do the students wear the outfit all day long?" before something hits her.
"Oh sorry" getting slightly reddish in the face "I am Berenice by the way."

Poppy enjoyed the presentation that Millie and Emmett () were making. It was refreshing to have two people share the spotlight. Their dynamic was engaging and lively. She thought the meals at Beauxbatons sounded appetizing, and not too light at all. "French women don't get fat," Poppy quoted to herself silently. Bread, wine, cheese, and fancy pastry in small quantities were fine by her any day.
She smiled encouragingly at the late boy () who seemed very flustered. Her glass was empty so she got up to get more of the raspberry lemon water. Another girl looked self–conscious too. "Berenice () is a pretty name," Poppy thought. She was happy that the audience was growing, and especially that the Slytherin turn out was good even though she was unacquainted with the boy, the girl, and another girl () who was occupied feeding a stoat. The latter was dressed formally and reminded her a bit of Ariette ().

Millie and Emmett were standing together, feeling awkward and waiting for any questions when a few more people walked into the classroom ( . "Hello, welcome. I'm Millie, this is Emmett. We just gave the talk about Beauxbatons. Here are the handouts that have the same information we just talked about. There are different types of food to represent each school. Some do have meat and are labelled. Feel free to ask us any questions and help yourself to the food."
Millie laughed, "their uniforms are super cute, Merlin (). I really like the colors. I don't know how warm it would keep us though." Emmett spoke up, "Ve vould be freezing all zee time. Zee castle is always cold. I'll talk more about that shortly"
"I agree, I would always be hungry there. Coffee and a tart for breakfast then wait a few hours? I'd be starving and would eat everything in sight at lunch. I mean, the food is delicious but still. But I guess they are used to it. And Peeves can sometimes be entertaining depending on which side you're on when he is reeking havoc. And don't forget Gryffindor's house ghost. He is really fun."
Millie turned to Sauvage ( ) "I'd love to learn more about the winged horses. I wish we could get the Care for Magical Creatures Club back up and request them"
taking the handout and reading over it, Beren watches the other students from under her lashes. She nodded to Millie s comment. "I think I would also be hungry the whole day. Lately I really need to be feed regularly or I get .... well annoying." With this she takes up some brownies. Chewing she asks "do the Nymphs sing classic stuff all the time?" the idea of that send a shudder down her spinde.

Vivian directed her comment to Emmett while perusing her pamphlet. "I understand Beauxbatons has three houses instead of four, correct?" She flicked another treat from the table with her wand and fed it to Stavia, all while maintaining eye contact with Emmett.
"Thank you," Drew said, taking the handouts. "I'm Drew. It's nice to meet you, Millie...and you too, Emmett. I'm looking forward to learning more about the other wizarding schools. this seems like a fun and informative topic." He heard Millie comment to Sauvage about the winged horses and wondered what the other girl would say. Having grown up riding and loving horses, Drew silently echoed Millie's wish that the Magical Creatures Club was available.
Studying the occupants of the room, Drew raised an eyebrow at the aristocratic looking girl (). Now that was what he'd always pictured Slytherins to be like...and the exact kind that wouldn't want him around since he wasn't a pureblood. He did envy the girl her skills with a wand though. His own were still limited as he was just learning some basic spells. Blasted overprotective parents, Drew thought to himself. Everyone else had been at Hogwarts for years and knew far more by the time they were 14.
Having finished his tart, Drew decided to give his own skills a try. Of course it had nothing to do with the fact that Poppy had smiled at him. Nope, not one thing. He smiled back at the prefect, pointed his wand toward the eclairs, gave a confident flick of his wrist, and promptly sent the eclair flying...right into the very girl he was NOT trying to impress! () Drew sucked in his breath, his eyes going wide as he hurried over. "I...I'm so sorry!!" he apologized, wishing someone would just hex him and put him out of his misery.
Merlin nods. "Yes the color reminds me of the Ravenclaws but it's a different tone of blue, it is much nicer and I like the grey color a lot. Still we could have pretty capes in our school colors." Merlin felt he was giving too much thought to this and wondered why he liked the uniforms so much. "I'm not even into fashion, but...I like the uniform."
Merlin listened and smiled. "AH! You were from that school! You lucky to play with the horses...and wear pretty capes. But I still disagree about the food, I like being well fed." Merlin grins since he really loved the food in Hogwarts. "No school can possibly have better food than Hogwarts." He was thoughtful for a moment. "How is it there compare to here? Where do you like it more? I really love this school and can't imagine going to another."
Merlin smiled at the newcomers and and whispered. "Slytherins in the house, whoo!" He made a little dance on his seat while smiling cutely.
Merlin smiled at Millie and nods after supporting his opinion. "They are quite lovely." Then looks at Emmett "Well they could be enchanted to warm you better and still look adorable all day." Merlin blushed, did he just said he wanted to look adorable? "Well not that our uniform is ugly, just more dark."
Merlin got excited when he heard Beren said she also likes to eat more. "AHA! Food is a MUST have for us, we are growing after all."
Merlin couldn't help to laugh when threw pastries at but tried to help the poor guy by saying. "No worries, it can happen to anyone."
Sauvage blinked, unsure of which question to answer first. She started with Drew; still smiling she said, "Ah, oui - I mean, um, yes. I attended Beaubatons for two years before coming to 'ogwarts. I never thought that, um, 'aving the 'orses was that amazing - only because it was so normal for us. It is true that after I cam to 'ogwarts, I thought it was bizarre that there were no 'orses."
And on the note of the winged horses, Sauvage turned to Millie. "Taking care of the 'orses was a responsibility of all students and 'onestly, it never felt like a chore. It was quite therapeutic. And the 'orses were great listeners!"
"I don't mean to...how is the expression? Step on toes? But, it is correct that Beauxbatons has only tree (3) 'ouses. I was in the 'ouse Bellefeuille when I attended Beauxbatons. And my best friend is in Papillonlisse. I tink I 'ave a photo of 'im somewhere..." She rustled through her small knapsack that she carries with her everywhere; it was no bigger than her fist but was charmed to be bottomless in depth. "Voila! 'ere it is. 'is name is Abilio. 'ee is from Portugal."

Sauvage giggled at all the questions Merlin had to ask. It was nice, talking about Beauxbatons. It helped relieve some of the sadness she felt, not being have been there in so long. "There are tings about both schools that I love. For instance, one of my favorite 'obbies is gardening and Beauxbatons 'as not one, but ttwo gardens on the, uh, pre-, um, premises? One is for the 'erbs and the other is,uh, the rose garden. I also miss the Care for Magical Creatures club there. Not, that the one 'ere is bad - actually, the few meetings I 'ave been able to attend, Magnus 'as done a wonderful job! But, that is the problem. I just seem to keep missing the rendez-vous for the club. And, the food 'ere is good," she nodded encouragingly. "It is just...different." She then smiled, hoping not to offend.
(( OOC: and just 'cause I tagged everyone else lol ))
"I know what you mean, Beren (). I get hangry - angry because I'm hungry. It's terrible. I usually bring a snack with me to eat between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner." Millie said. "I'm not entirely sure what they sing, to be honest. Emmett's cousin's didn't say. They just said sung during meals."
Emmett turned his attention to Vivian (). "Ja that's true. Like Hogwarts, zey are separated by vhat zeir character trait is. I'll be honest, I can't pronounce zee names in English, only German".
"Hi Drew, it's nice to meet you. How are you liking Hogwarts so far? I'm happy there are so many people who share my curiosity about the other schools. I would love to do a study aboard. I love to travel." as the words were leaving her mouth, Drew practiced a Accio charm with an eclair but failed and hit Poppy () with it. Millie's eye's got really wide and wondered if she actually saw what just happened. She pulled her wand out and said, "I know just to charm to get the stains out." and with a flick of her wrist, the custard and chocolate stains out of Poppy's clothes.
"If you'd like Drew, I can help you with you with the summoning charm. Just let me know when is good for you."
Emmett turned to Merlin (), "on really cold days, zey light fires in zee common rooms but usually ve just have hot water bottles. Zey say it's to make us tougher. Tougher for vhat, I don't know. Sometimes my roommates light fires after lights out, after zee teachers have gone to bed. During zey day, we are told to tough it out Zat's one thing I really like about Hogwarts. Zey make sure ve're warm enough." Millie added, "I would like to have something cute like their uniforms but I'm not sure I'd want to wear a dress or skirt all the time. I do really like the colors. Sometimes I feel like a bumble bee in my Hufflepuff robes"
Millie said to Sauvage (). "I really wish we could have something like the horses here. I mean, I have my cat Cleo but she usually goes off on her own during the day. I usually don't see her until bedtime. And Emmett has his dog Chance but sometimes I would like something else to love on. I miss the Care of Magical Creatures Club. Yeah, it's easy enough to start it back up but I don't have the leadership skills or really the time to run it. 11 classes really fills your time up".
Drew's face was red and he couldn't even begin to look at Poppy. As laughed and told him not to worry, he managed a slight smile out of relief. At least one out of two of his prefects wouldn't kill him.
As Millie () preformed a charm that removed all trace of the eclair stains, Drew gave her a grateful look. "Thank you so much," he said. "I could use some help...a lot apparently. For now I think it might be best if I just use my hands to get anymore of the food." He listened to the discussion about the horses and commented quietly, "Horses in general are majestic, though I've never met any winged ones. The ones we had were fast but they couldn't actually fly." He gave Millie a smile and said, "So far I like it here. I've been wanting to come since I was seven and did my first accidental magic. But I haven't had a chance until now because of my family moving."
Outfit Not Found Magnus arrived at the workshop late--he was never late. But the frail, pale and gaunt-looking boy was worn out. He looked like one light breeze would do him in. He didn't have the energy to walk fast and it had taken him awhile to even make himself move. The full moon cycle was over--he was free for another month, but it difficult one and the boy was running on empty. Cautiously he looked around. His own workshop hadn't ended well. Should he even be there? would they want him there? He saw Merlin and wondered if he should turn away... Hadn't he seemed on edge at Magnus' terrible display of temper? He should go.
(I think I got everyone)

Ariette slunk into the workshop, decidedly late and looking mildly ruffled. Her unruly familiar had wanted to come along with her but knowing that there would be a large amount of unknown people around, Ariette made the difficult decision to leave her familiar behind to avoid any chaos that would inevitably ensure. Needless to say, Erus had been incredibly put out and it had taken her a lot of tussling and liberal bribes of sausage links to coax him into staying in his tank. Noting the large spread of food on offer, she heaved a sigh of relief. Knowing her gluttonous familiar, he would attempt to devour the whole lot and then she would have to carry around his lazy ass....
"Signores, Signorinas, my apologies. My familiar decided to make himself more of an annoyance than he usually does. I do hope I didn't miss all the speeches."
Vivian smiled slightly at Sauvage's photos of a young wizard. "I do like his hair style; quite charming." She liked the other witch's French accent; it was pleasant to hear someone comfortable in their own native accent, and not trying to cover it up. She missed the sound of a good Scottish brogue, and suddenly felt a touch of homesickness. Thankfully, the shy boy from her own house ( ) a few seats down chose that moment to randomly send an eclair flying into the face of a fellow Slytherin girl ( ) . While everyone made the appropriate soothing noises and cleaned up the mess, Vivian composed herself again. Wouldn't do for anyone to see her as less the Ice Queen, after all. She wasn't here to make friends, goodness! Her grandparents would only use them against her, anyway. Professional contacts only, she firmly reminded herself, setting her chin. Keep up those appearances.
As the shy boy (Drew, she reminded herself), talked about his childhood, two more people came in and one of them looked quite unwell. She forgot herself enough to raise a concerned eyebrow at Magnus ( ) as the second expressed their apologies. He looked like he felt he wouldn't be accepted. With a flick of her wrist, she shut the door behind him, and with another, a chair swept out invitingly toward him. "Do sit so we may continue, won't you?" she said evenly.
