LOL exactly - nothing happened to Daryl, nothing at all. He was hardly ever onscreen, rarely spoke, made rash decisions that were simply in opposition to Rick, not for any good reason. The sparkle of his character - the chemistry was simply gone.

Well maybe with Rick gone we will get a major story arc for him. I am not thrilled with them bringing Shane back but at least it is not stupid Laurie

yeah not happy with the idea of Shane back either.
Wouldn't mind the baby being gone, but there's maggie's baby too coming along. Though I must admit they've dealt pretty well with the baby situation - i.e. its not usually around.
LOL though I can't even remember what happened to the baby they found while battling the saviours...
