Yeah, I've done one contest this masquerade so far and it was really tough keeping track and I was only doing 70 dances. Like Georgie says, i can't be bothered to count! I appreciate being entered in the raffle - but I'd be dancing with you in rotation with everyone else anyway :).

What she said -- I'll set my computer to dance with someone during classes (and then switch partners between classes), but I'm often not even around to count or keep track of what happens, and I'd rather keep it that way. Heck, if I could get my computer to complete quests during classes so I didn't have to be around for that, I'd do that, too. :)
It's such a pain to keep up with them sometimes. I've gotten confused on where I'd finished before too and was like...well....extra for you because I lost track.
Bahahaha. I feel you on that. I'd have all the QP I needed if I didn't have to be present to get them done xD
A real life gift, if you want it
This week, for what would have been his 90th birthday, the USPS released a Fred Rogers postage stamp. In his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA they had an opening ceremony where you could get not only the commemorative stamps, but a special one-day-only commemorative postmark with an illustration of his trolley and the first date of issue.
I picked up a few extra of these (they were inexpensive -- just the cost of the stamp and envelope), but it's a nice little bit of memorabilia. If you'd like one, I'd be glad to send you one, but you'd need to sMail me an address to send it to (and there's no pressure if you'd rather not share that information or are just not interested). There's a picture of the stamp in the article I linked.
This is really cool! Thanks for thinking of us (:
That is awesome. I'm definitely gonna sMail you now. Thank you so so much!

Thanks for taking the time to do that!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
I hope you have a great day ❤️
This made me laugh last night -- some of you may recognize the show, but here's enough background information to catch you up:
70-year-old Lydia was born in Cuba, but evacuated to the US during Operation Peter Pan (early 1960's); she lives in Miami with her daughter, Lupe and grandchildren Elena and Alex. Lydia is the only member of the household who does not speak fluent English. She watches the grandchildren while Lupe works outside the home. Elena recently came out as lesbian; Lydia is completely ignorant of LGBT issues, but has proven to be open-minded and supportive as she gets educated.
In the scene I saw, Elena brings home a new friend from school.
Syd: "Hi, I'm Syd. My pronouns are 'they' and 'them'."
Lydia: "¿Que?"
Elena: "Some people have different pronouns, abuelita."
Lydia: "Oh, I see. Hello, Syd! I am Lydia .... pro-nouns Leee-deee-aaah!"
Sharing this here since it's not really work-related.
McSweeney's has the Ferris Bueller sequel here. Folks who were around to remember when the original came out will probably appreciate it.
- That was funny to read! Thanks for sharing!
This is my life today :D FREEDOM!

: Congratulations! Enjoy the downtime!
that Ferris thing was fun :). I enjoyed the movie for what it was at the time, but my guy hated that Ferris just got away with everything!

No idea if you actually have still stuck with this show but I can only imagine it will be better without Rick.
I have been watching it. But not with as much enthusiasm as I used to. I agree it will be better without Rick - they've pulled and stretched that character so much, there's nowhere left for him to go. Seriously, Carl had been becoming a much more interesting character. They would have been way better killing off Rick and developing Carl.
Its like anyone who was more popular than their pet Rick was killed off - or gutted, like Daryl.
