We got 3 inches of snow overnight. It's lovely. Covers the grass and trees but not the sidewalk, driveway or street. If snow was always like that I would love it. lol It will be gone by dinner time and we will be in the 70s tomorrow with a chance of severe weather and then a chance of snow again on Friday.

Hi all :) I've been working on coding myself a profile here on subeta (been making profiles/site layouts for years but subeta coding confuses me! ) and I'd like some more practise...

Dmy and family should be starting to move in this weekend. I spent yesterday with them and saw the complex. It is pretty. I have driving lessons set up for Thursday and Friday. Things are moving forward.

well if you can call doing things you dread to be fun, then I guess I did. lol
actually been in pain. don't know why my let won't stop hurting. and it's mostly when I lay down to go to sleep. sigh. oh well, life continues and the Lord will take care of me.

Mornin' KSrs

So, measurable snow on Monday and severe storms yesterday (state had flooding, tornadoes and straightline winds, thankfully we didn't get that here, just noisey thunder and lightning), and this morning we got snow again. A dusting which thankfully is already gone. It's super windy and the state has flood advisories and warnings yet. Crazy spring weather.

I made a new thread in our KS forums for pictures. Had one previous for nature pictures but decided to create a new one for any kinds of pictures. I don't use facebook or instagram or the like so this would be my main way of being able to share pictures with y'all. Good Morning KSrs! :D I've been away visiting my grandparents for Easter, so I haven't been posting at all! I had a great time! Anyway, I have a test tomorrow, so today will be filled with extra studying in-between Subeta-ing and Dancing!

Awesome profile. I wish I could code. I used to when it was html and much easier. Now, I'm just confused and gave up. If you ever need graphics though I do make those so if something is needed I'd be willing to help when I have time. If that comes up that is. :)

Not much else here to say. Just kind of going through the motions and waiting for summer to get here so I can go home again. My Mom just found out she has breast cancer. The good news is it's super early and she just had a surgery yesterday and they think they got it all so I don't think it's going to get any worse, but it's been a scare for me. I need to be better about going to the doctor more regularly and it just adds to all those worries I have about home. Things are good though otherwise. Trying to get a bit of dancing in to hoard all the tokens. :)

Afternoon lovelies

Been busy at work, some good, some bad. Today I really just took a breather and played around on the site... but not really doing much. Thankfully there was nothing going on at work b/c I've been too distracted today to concentrate.

Cold is back, again. Can't believe it hit 75 the other day after the snow, and now another chance of snow this weekend and in the first half of next week. So sick of this cold weather and I'm ready for an actual warm spring - not hot like we've had in the past.

So sorry to hear that about your mom. I imagine that was rather terrifying, for you both. Really glad to see they caught it early, though.
I'm so w/ you on the HTML!! I loved that and still play w/ it on other places, but forum coding and CSS is just a pita and I don't have the time for it. (I did try a little, in the beginning, and I still look into it on occasion, but then move on to s/thing less complicated) What kind of graphics do you do?

Subscribed! I've got some pics to share so I'm looking forward to getting around to that. I usually have to transfer them to an email, whether work or personal, and load it on Imgur through the website b/c the stupid app sucks donkey nads. 😆
Picked up some new flower seeds and some sunflower seeds so I need to get started on that.

Oh and this past weekend was a very big cleaning... at least in the kitchen. lol One thing at a time.

Subscribed to the pictures post as well It's also the firs time I realized that you can subscribe to threads. I'm glad I finally figured that one out. Now, if I accidentally delete the last comment I was pinged in I wont lose access to the thread. This is what I was doing before. :) You've just improved my Subeta lifestyle. :) I like the photo with the purple flowers covered in snow. Something about that pop of color even if it is unseasonable snow!

It was a scare, but I think it's going to be alright. The surgery seems to have gone well and they think they got everything, but she will have to do a bit of radiation follow up. I talked to her on facetime and she was looking like her normal self so that was also good to see. The HTML actually reminded me that I have a website now. I just started it in January. I sometimes need to use some html to insert the pictures lol. :) It makes me feel like I'm totally coding though. :) It's megan-higgins.com if you are interested. It also answers the question about graphics, but I think maybe I should have called them images or illustrations? I'm not sure if they actually fall under graphics or not. Language is hard. :)

It sounds like the weather is really nutso there. I just hope that the long winter doesn't mean it's going to be a super hot summer. I don't mind nice summers, but there is such a thing as too hot...at least I think so. I think taking a breather is a good idea at work sometimes so you don't get burnt out. Especially on a Friday. You have my stamp of approval on work breathers. ;)

Dreary, gray morning here. Did not want to get out of bed. Temps way below normal which it will be for at least the next week. I don't actually mind the temperatures, I just wish we had more sunshine. Did have sun yesterday and it was so nice to be out in it.

@ taarna Weather has been crazier than usual Ohio crazy with the measurable snow on Monday followed by 70s, severe storms and tornadoes on Tuesday. I just keep thinking we're going to jump from spring to summer and get summer temperatures far longer than we should. Hope the seeds take root! Good for you getting some big cleaning done. Need to do a ton of that here but always seem to be able to procrastinate it.

This is why when I take a long time to make a post I need to check the thread to make sure no one has posted in the meantime. lol Glad I could help you learn something new about subeta! I subscribe to alot of threads. Most temporarily for KS, like our dancing/kissing/toting threads or other event threads (pumpkin patch) so I know when someone posts there and then I unsub after the event. But also like this thread or the photo thread or the brag thread which I keep subbed to. It's really useful.

School went fine yesterday then we went to lunch. But before that I had an appointment at the skin clinic about a mole. They did a biopsy because one person thought it looked like a skin cancer. don't know yet.

Being in Colorado during the hottest part of the summer was a completely different experience to being here in Ohio. Hot is manageable when you take away the humidity. I can't stand the heat/humidity here. I've been so "hot" during spring mornings when getting ready for work that I had to sit in front of a fan that was in the window, and it was just above 50 outside and I was dripping sweat from the humidity. Ok, so I do sweat a bit more than others, lol, but me and humidity just don't get along. I'll say again, really glad that things were caught early for your mom and she's doing good.

I'm thinking we're going to skip the nice temps and go straight into hot. Seems to be the trend of the last few years, w/ May being hot as hell and April still being cool. Like jeez, I'll settle for 60's right now.
Yeah I hope they sprout, too. lol They usually do but I just want to have them ready to go by the time I can plant so I don't have to wait until Summer to see some flowers. :P Still a ton to do around here but I'll slowly get there. Spring and warmer weather is always inspiring but since we haven't had it, I still lack the motivation. Definitely w/ ya on not wanting to get out of bed. Now I don't want to get off the couch. I'm doing a 24hr flash dance contest and I swear I'm already behind, even though I started last night. Seems some people spend over 18hrs on here just to get ahead. rolls eyes annoying... It's over today at 4:30 and I'll be back to dance bombing you guys. ;)

It was a longer winter than usual. It was still snowing through March, but once it warmed up it really just stayed warmed up. It's been in the 50s and 60s pretty consistently over the last few weeks, which is normal for this time of year. Nothing like what you guys are having! We've had some weird weather in the past, but at least for now it's being normal. The humidity in Ohio is ridiculous. I know other places are like that too, but I do know Ohio best. Last year wasn't too bad, but the year before that it was awful. I was wearing breezy dresses and still sweating like crazy. Nothing like feeling gross all summer long! I hope that doesn't happen again, but of course I think we both know it will! It wouldn't be Ohio if it didn't!

Thanks! I'm super glad too. She's going to test herself to see if she's a carrier for the gene for it and then I'm also going to have to get more serious about watching for it. I understand dreary gray days. It's so much easier to do things if the sun is at least shining, but when it's ugly out it's so tempting to want to stay in bed. Unfortunately, we usually have to get up. :(

Morning fellow dancers

Tired yet? lol I am but I'm trying to hoard and sell stuff since I rarely have time for quests anymore.

My daughter got sick yesterday, had to leave school and call off work and continued getting sick from both ends for several hours. Never had a fever so I think she might've gotten a dose of food poisoning from work. Felt so bad for her b/c there's literally nothing you can do to help, it just has to run it's course. Hopefully she'll be better today.

Snowed overnight and my younger bro and I are supposed to do her brakes today. Think we might go for tomorrow, lol. I'll have to see how it is later. Nothing worse than working on the frozen ground, w/ frozen fingers. At least it isn't windy.

That sounds nice! My car has a perfect drivers seat w/ every adjustment you can imagine, including the lumbar support. It is truly the most comfortable ride I've ever had. She's a 2006 but definitely my most favorite car ever. Convertible, too. Obviously I can't wait for warmer temps. :D

Ahhh the comfort of average temps and normal weather. wow That's like a dreamy time. lol I think up where is gets more lake effect weather, and since I'm more southern, I get the systems that build up from the south. I can only be grateful of not having allergies like my younger bro does b/c of the Ohio valley. I do think that I have started to get some, and unfortunately it's more of the humidity based one dealing w/ mold counts.
How many radiation treatments does your mom have to go through? Did they tell her some good foods that are beneficial in prevention? Spirulina and iodine (plus selenium) are wonderful daily additives w/ noticeable results - not necessarily in prevention but in overall health conditions -and I think they would be very needed after radiation treatments to help build back up white blood cell count. Doctors aren't nutritionists so it's very common that they would include natural aids in healing and prevention.

J - how are you and how are you sleeping? How is mom?

Not sure how much I'll accomplish today. The weather just affects my mood too much b/c I have continuously been dealing w/ financial stress since my older bro and his wife left after Thanksgiving. (did I mention that? I talked to Skye about it) They left me in a hole and once you're there, it just spirals. And then these idiots w/ the child support claim that I've been overpaid in some way and I haven't received any payments since January. LOVELY. I'm requesting an audit. About all I can do. When it rains, it pours.
