I always lived with animals and this is the 1st time i got it. So maybe from work (work with elderly) or maybe supermarket? Who know.

And just got back from the vet and they took a sample of Meddy her hair and put it on culture. Test results will take 11 days.

You're right about the passwords for work -one requires a capital letter and one number and the other one is just whatever. I have definitely written my passwords down and keep them w/ me all the time in a (pink) binder type thingy for work. Especially now that some places (like my phone carrier) have made more complicated ones, like including a symbol in the password. WTF. And after I did that the first time, it was maybe a few months later..... oh no, I just realized they might be doing that 70 day thing b/c I still had to change it again.
Whatever. lol

So good to see you!! Also, so sorry you've been having so much anxiety over school. It's not s/thing I would expect from you, honestly. I think you're a phenomenal aid and any kid would be so lucky to be helped out by you so I can only imagine the kind of teacher you'll become. If there's anything to really worry about, it would be the experience you've had, from when you started and how the students acted, to how they are now and the trend is isn't getting better. The special snowflake syndrome is like a virus that just multiplies and w/ social media, kids will catch on to shit that isn't even happening on their side of the states.
You are an amazing person who truly wants to help people learn and that's a quality that seems to get rarer by the year -and you need to remind yourself of this. Maybe a good part of the stress is about the living situation and you wanting to get out w/ Andrew. Just a thought.
I know you're surrounded by at least a bigger percentage of people that want to teach than most of us, but you've got to step outside that world and think about what others experience and I can tell you, as a non-college grad getting a job in a big company, there's little to no amount of people that want to teach you things. I understand that more than half of it is learning for yourself when you're in that situation and it's the same for kids doing their own work, but when you hit walls and walls when asking simple questions that can totally turn on the light bulb for you (and you discover on your own MONTHS later), then it's truly upsetting. For some reason, The Lion King is running through my head right now..... Simba coming into his own and hearing his father's voice -"Remember..... who.you.are." <3

Driven three times now. It is getting easier. Got some ballet slippers so I can feel the pedals easier, since that seems to be an issue for me, and set my settings into our car which has three driver settings so we are good. Dmy still isn't in the new apartment. The old landlord got his paperwork in but they keep needing more stuff. We are losing patience.

ringworm stinks. I thought I had it once but it was just major allergy flare mixed with a scarily similar rash pattern. Icing an itch can help or cold water running over the skin. Hope your meds kick in. I, too, adore the blobs. Thinking about which I want.

I am a Paraprofessional and work with special needs kids, but I do not to direct instruction, nor interact with the parents and create lesson plans...I pretty much just tutor xD Still, though, you are right that the experience will help me later! hugs Chocolate makes everything better!

❤ Thank you, so much! I honestly had not thought about wanting to move out being part of the stress, but I can see how that would fit in. I've never been very good with change, and this is a major change. I'm also very afraid of failure. I'm just good at hiding it online. Believe me...I can be a little ball of anxiety at times. I'm not really too concerned about the snowflakes for some reason. I mean, I have come across them, and one was really recent, but really..what job doesn't have those? Customers always think they are right. Funny thing about my job is that I had absolutely no training when I got hired. My supervisor introduced me at the campus and then left. Luckily I had awesome coworkers who helped, and understanding teachers. But yeah...the amount of lack of wanting to help from my boss was just astounding. That is part of why when I am helping students, I am constantly asking if they understand or not.

Seriously though...thank you guys for the words of encouragement. It truly has helped me today ❤❤

Glad driving is getting easier! When was Dmy supposed to get into the new apartment? Seems like its been a while by now? Radar seems to be doing much better today! Not crying when he sits up anymore, and he wants to go for a walk. We won't take him yet, though, gotta make sure he heals first.

I've had an upsetting and frustrating day. A friend I work with has been working on her teaching certification all year long and will finish this spring AND has been working at the school with me since it opened in 2013. Today, she had a meeting with our boss about next year's position and she was informed that there will be no position for her. I'm super upset because she kept being promised a teaching job once she gets the right certifications and she finally does and then they tell her to get lost. I've been having a lot of mixed feelings about being in Austria and about where I work over the last few years and over the last few months I've also really been doubting my decision to stay on for next year and now I wish I hadn't committed to another year already and just went home. I know it doesn't do me any good to quit my job in outrage over someone else, but I'm just super frustrated and upset about it now. I can see reasons why she wasn't kept on...she stirs the pot, but at the same time workplaces need people to speak up when stuff is bs. So, I don't know. It's just hard to contemplate the idea of her not being there next year. We commute together everyday etc and now it's just all gone in a poof. I just had to let that out somewhere since I'm a bit shocked and home alone at the moment.

That aside I hope everyone is doing okay! I'll check in a bit later when I settle down some.

Procrastinating by playing in the wardrobe this morning. Got errands to run. Brother is coming up late tonight and will head home Monday afternoon. It will rain most of the time he's here.

Stay warm. lol It was 79 yesterday and never got out of the 60s for our overnight low. About the same today and tonight. I'm more than warm now. A possibility of snow Monday though. I bought an address book and keep my passwords in that. It's small and I can take it with me so I always have them.

I had forgotten about your neck (I keep typing nek and then having to go back and add the c - lol) ablation. I hope you don't have to do it again soon. Thought probably better to do it sooner rather than waiting until the pain is really bad. How long ago did you do it? I slept better the other night. Last night was okay. Just a lot of waking up because it was so warm. One extreme to the other. Sucks about your laptop! I hope you can get it working or fixed! I totally need sound to sleep too. I developed tinitus a long time ago and I need the distraction from the noise that is always in my head. Usually it's the tv, sometimes if I'm feeling like I need darkness I put on a cd I ripped a bunch of old time radio shows to and in NJ it's a local radio station.

Sorry you're feeling so much stress. I know you will do well in your studies. I hope maybe you can find someplace away from home where you can get away from the stress of school and those at home to just take your brain to a calm place. ❤ Hope radar can go on his walks again soon. Poor little guy, he's got to be hating not being able to.

I got ringworm once from one of our cats right after we brought her home. On my chin. bah, not fun. Hope your itching eases soon. The blobs are adorable. I want one but haven't decided on which one yet.

Hi , I just had the time to prepare the outfit for the "it comes from wardrobe" I had just half an hour to relax and I spent it all there. I am so sorry to hear that :( That really is crummy that they would keep promising and then just say nevermind, even if she does stir the pot. Why promise anything for years in that case? Venting is a good thing, I think we have all done it here at one time or another. I did yesterday x)

the doc thought it was malignant, but pathology said it wasn't. Praise God for that. doc also removed one behind my ear so I am hurting some and still bleeding a little because of the depth of surgery. all in all, it's good.
