I passed the written driver exam easily. Going to call and set appointments for learning the physical act of driving tomorrow. Tired out. Headaches, body aches, blah. Dmy heard back on the apartment and the hold up is her current land lord being a pain and not answering his email or phone. He has a history of it. His jerk level is part of why she wants to move so much.

So this happened first day of masquerade. Skye danced with me.

Had a horrible migraine yesterday so didn't really play on the computer until just before bedtime. Did try to toss KSrs up on AR a few times so I danced with some people. No headache today but mom didn't sleep at all last night so today I'll be checking on her a lot. Really hate the nights she doesn't sleep at all.

Grats on passing the written test! You'll be fine with the driving. You've been learning from your family by osmosis for years. Been loving your daily HA changes. Been trying not to miss a day hearting you. Hope dmy can get her landlord to do what needs doing. It's always beyond frustrating having to depend on someone else in order to do what you want. That's crazy and lovely all that the same time having that dance request waiting for you this year. ❤

hey everyone, i'm hoping to be more active within the group and discord. i've been a little cut off from any meaningful interactions, and i'm working really hard on my recovery.

tw for below--

today i am officially 2 months sober from alcohol, and 8 days binge/purge free. i'm really proud of myself. i've been absent from friendships for so long because of my alcoholism and eating disorder, and have spent my small steps toward recovery trying to learn more about myself and my interests and investing time in personal hobbies and such. i'm so, so sorry for being as inactive as i've been from the start. it's hard for me to keep relationships going but i'm trying. i'm just working on healing, i guess. love you all.

Congrats! That's wonderful! Get all the help you need. It is never wrong or anything at all negative to ask for help. Everyone needs it at some time in their lives. It took me 3 years to completely quit alcohol but I'm so glad I did. Now I'm 34 years sober. Also quit smoking last year when I was really sick and now its 1 year and 2 weeks free of that. You can do it! I'm living proof. :)

Hooray for passing the first part. All you need to do is practice driving; turning and parking and looking both ways and following the speed limit. Relax, pay attention and be aware of everything around you and you should be fine.

Ah that makes sense about the dances from last year. Never would've thought about that, as I haven't experienced that myself.

I had quit smoking a few times and once I started vaping, I quit for good. Still vape b/c I totally enjoy it and I spend next to nothing on it.

Been given some new stuff to do at work, which is basically creating documents on a website, creating restrictions and making a simple calendar. Really, it's a pain in my arse but hey, I'm sure it will look good on my review and overall, we'll be able to clean up a lot of unnecessary BS we get from other teams and how they submit requests to us.

Love your wig layering! Looks like your HA has been spinning around the floor non-stop. I have several HAs premade - not sure how many will see outside the wardrobe. New stuff being added to the shop so more stuff to play with. No idea why she has nights where she barely sleeps at all. She goes to see her primary doc in the next few weeks so hopefully they'll chat about that.

I just went and checked out the new stuff and I found some cute things, but the majority, I'm not too happy with. And what's w/ all the neon! :P I'll have to really stretch my limits to work w/ most of the new stuff. As far as the wig layering, I can't take credit on that. Picked it up from the layering secrets section under Human Avatars. ;)
Hope she's able to bring it up to the doc and get an answer, but you don't do so well, yourself. >.< I kept waking up rather sweaty last night, too. Humidity really gets to me.

Woke up early... nothing new. Already had coffee. Hoping I can make today a productive one. There's literally so much to do, I get overwhelmed and don't do anything. Oh and lost a pot of flower seeds. 💢 Knocked it over when I was putting up a blockade on my tiny porch for the dog. They were all only 20 cent packets so I'll start again. Still have one pot full of seeds that I want to be an indoor plant (their the plants that have the leaves that have red and green on them) and another one with these whitish small flowers (not baby's breath) that I wanted to line some stuff with.

Keep on working on it, hun. There's always going to be 2 steps forward and one step back. One day, you'll find that you never take a step back. Don't ever let that one step back discourage you from taking more steps forward. You can do it!
Hope you're talking to a good therapist about your b/p. That takes more mental work than anything, both on your part and on theirs to find out the truth of the matter and change your way of thinking. 🌹

Thanks everyone for the dances. I absolutely LOVE the HA's I've seen... yours are so unique and well put together. J - I saw a twice change in one day, one with the neon colors and then another. Absolutely love how you can combine colors and make your outfits looks so well thought out. Love your current one the most out of your changes. And look at ! whistles

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the old version of a pet instead of the new one? I saw This one and really liked it, so I made one. but I didn't realize that was the old one version. This is the new one. Its ok, I just like the other better. I know if you already have an old version you don't have to get the new one, but I wasn't sure if you could somehow choose the old over the new...

Oh you mean like the revamped pets?

I think being able to combine a lot of Subeta stuff w/ a few Cdubs is what is truly unique, if using any dubs. I'm often jealous of those that work so well w/ the onsite stuff and I just love how you, Jersey and Gry don't follow a standard look and play w/ so many different things, and you w/ your royal colors (mainly purple). I mean look, I have to seek out others layering "secrets" to figure stuff out.... still!! I must've lost any creative talent I had from a long, long, long, long time ago. :( (I did used to draw, but coloring/shading/matching stuff... still eludes me)

Hi Girls, hoped to be on some hours today but then it rained and the guests went back home and we had chats that is so stessful for me to speak in english, ( at least I improve it but...) Now just finished to prepare the base to do lasagna for tomorrow and I'm so tired that I could sleep forever.

Went to a farmer's market this morning (indoors Nov-April, outside May-Oct) and got some pickles. Yummy. When I went to start the car (needed warming and defrosting 'cause it was cold) there was a horrible stench in the air. Thought maybe it was gas (we have a small leak near the street that they are supposed to fix eventually) so called before we headed out. The gas company was just knocking on the door when we got back (we were out maybe an hour, if that). Turns out it was an odor cloud or a odor pocket or something. They think a quarry near the city hit a pocket of stench and so the odor travels after being released from the ground. We had heavy fog this morning so that could be partly why it was so bad. He also said it didn't travel the way it normally does. I didn't know that was a thing. So yay not natural gas.
It was a horrible smell. Gave me a headache.

That was my exciting morning.

I didn't care for my neon one. Something just bugged me about it so yeah I changed it pretty quickly. Might just have been the neon is out of my norm/comfort, I don't know. I have another using some neon I might wear. Got at least 4 made I've not worn yet. Lovin' your orange and turquoise! I'm glad you've been enjoying playing in your wardrobe and switching it up on a daily basis for masq! I have loved seeing all of your changes! I agree - and Chrysariel make wonderful HAs. Gry's always seem to tell a story and Chrys' always have great use of color!

I didn't think you could get the old version of revamped pets other than finding the old version and using it as an overlay. I also think the change is automatic and you don't have a choice to keep the old one. At least I didn't think so. I had a pet that got revamped and it changed automatically and I loved the original so much. Ended up changing the pet completely to something else.

Edit: You snuck in on me while I was typing! lol I'm loving that layering you did to get that hair piece! Fabulous.
