hope things go well for you and your Dad

well yesterday it was in the 70's, today it's in the high 20's with freezing rain. craziest weather to date.
your car sounds great. we have a sunroof and I really pray that it doesn't leak but since they washed the car before we took it off the lot it shouldn't.

I'll tell her about the extra foods. My Dad had prostate cancer a few years ago and I know she read up a lot on the types of things he should eat to help post everything. Spirulina doesn't sound familiar to me though so I want to let her know about that one as well!

I'm also super lucky and have avoided allergies. The only problem I have is in summers I get some kind of itchy rash on my fingers. I think it's some kind of heat rash, but I just get along with it since creams and things just are greasy and gross on your fingers. It doesn't work out well.

I'm sorry to hear about the financial woes. :( My friend has a similiar problem with child support and I still can't figure out how they can allow them to be so low. I get really frustrated when she tells me all the stupid things that go along with it. Her ex also always manages to get it reduced a bit at a time which is also insane. I'm sure requesting an audit is going to be super annoying, but I would do the same thing. I'm biased? not sure if that's the right word, but I don't think you can be overpaid when it comes to caring for your kid, but you know what do I know.

OMG thank you so much for all the dances! Haven't gotten all of them accepted yet but I'm working on it. How awful that your brother and his wife left you in the lurch! What crap. And the trouble with the child support on top of it. What a pita. On the other side, my friend paid child support for his teenage daughter clear up until he was finally declared disabled when he was in his 50's and his daughter was in her early 30's! And his daughter left home at 17 because she couldn't stand her mother anymore, and disappeared. But the mother kept going to court and dragging him in knowing he couldn't afford the lawyer and the fees, or the trips from Texas to Nevada. And no matter what proof or anything he brought it always went her way. Even when it got ridiculous with the daughter being so much older they declared that he had missed five years of payments, which he had I think, from the very beginning. Don't remember the details but it had something to do with him being in the Navy. But he still had paid well over TEN YEARS MORE than he should have already! Talk about stupid. I totally believe in child support, but that was insane.

Drove for an hour in one of those cars with the brake and gas also on the instructor side. We did turns and staying within the lines and went up to 50 mph. My Friday appointment got canceled because her car was acting up. Today I went to Emmett and helped at the restaurant. Getting dances in. Thank you all for the dances. Dad is doing so well. Pretty soon he won't need the wheel chair.

so sorry to hear about your mom. Best of luck.

We need instant test results for that kind of thing so we don't shorten our lives stressing. Congrats on the car. Sounds cute.

Morning all I want to dance today, I want it desperately because I want to relax. If I'm lucky enough guests will leave for the day in a couple of hours, it's 9.30 am , I will try to dance poppin here between a question and the another. We passed from winter to almost summer, we have about 77f by now, this sudden change is very disturbing me

I totally agree with Taarna about natural tratments to recover from radiations, spirulina is very important and also selenium! Internet is full of informations about alternative tratment, try to look for but be wise because mostly are fake informations, there is also artemisia annual and turmeric that can be taken aside the official treatments and help the immunitary system. My best wishes for your Mom ❤

by now I fall asleep everywhere lol I have my eyes closing most of the day It's really an hard job, 24h on 24h but I thank the Universe because of it as I can pay a part of the cure for my hubby And YES when it rains it pours, financial issues are the worst, nobody helps you and health is affected. Hugs ❤

thanks, I luckily saved some avatars in the last month thinking about masquerade otherwise I would have never had the possibility to do it atm

edit: You have visited the bathhouse 1 day in a row! Lost 160 days of the pool....I want to cry :/

Mornin' KSrs

Final day of dancing so get those dances in. If anyone needs extra dancing for trinkets just comment me and I can toss you up on AR occasionally.

Woke up to snow yesterday morning. Even if it doesn't stick to the roads I'm over it now. Still not ready for hot but closer to normal temps will be nice. Should get them briefly at the end of the week. Hope your daughter is feeling better today. I didn't know your brother and sisinlaw left. Sorry they left you with some extra financial issues. And how does one get overpaid for child support? That makes no sense. I would not think anyone would overpay what was required unless they wanted to. Sorry it's been held up and I hope the audit gets it put right.

Sounds like your lesson went well. Never been in a car with the brake and gas also on the passenger side. So so so happy about your Dad! He especially must be so excited to be working finally toward being independent again!

Grats on the new car. 🚗 I agree with you and gry, instant test results would be great. Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Hope whatever is going on gets better and stuff starts looking up again! ☀

Another lovely outift you changed into! Sorry about missing a day at the bathhouse.

Thank you! It's really helpful to me that you guys have other outside info to add. I'm not at home with her so I miss out on a lot of the little in between conversations so it feels good to also be able to offer her extra advice instead of just getting reports from the homefront which is how it feels so much of the time!

You are looking like an amazing phoenix today! Love your HA. Also, thank you for the positive vibes/well wishes. I'm super happy to hear things are going so well with your Dad! It'll be great when he's mobile again and out of the chair!

Snow again!? Yikes. I mean I love snow, but it is April now...

Good luck finishing up any last minute dances all. I think I'm kind of out of steam myself, but I'll probably try to get a couple more in.

I think we have one more chance for some snow showers on Tuesday morning and then looking at the forecast I'm hoping it won't be cold enough for snow after that. fingers crossed

Snow overnight. 😠 BAAHHHH 70's later this week and then dropping into the 40's. That is just beyond annoying.

Get my contacts today (won't be exact but they always have a pair that's close enough until the RX comes in) and I'm so excited!! :D Got my daughter's rear brakes done on Saturday and even though it was cool, it actually felt nice in the sun. Definitely not a set I could've done myself. The pistons inside the calipers are a twist and push in model. Weird. (probably talking Greek to some, lol)

I'll be back later for more chatting. Glad to be able to change into a regular HA and not have to do anymore dancing.

Mornin' KSrs

Hope everyone danced enough to get all they want from the shops. If you need some trinkets let me know, I've got extras!

Woke up with a headache. Seems I'm back to a period of that after not having it happen too much for awhile.

I woke up to it snowing up here. It won't really be any accumulation but with it going to be nearly 80 on Friday it's just too weird, even for Ohio. I envy you being able to work on your cars.

- Good mornin'! :D We're supposed to hit the 80s later this week, but looks like we might stay warm for the most part after that! I certainly hope so anyway! Oh I am so glad to be able to switch outfits again! I love my Masquerade HA, but I don't like having the same on that long (even if I'm switching between premade ones because I'm lazy). I really wish I knew a thing or two about cars, but nada. Mom knew a lot about older cars when she was growing up, but with the newer ones they just make things extremely hard to deal with at home (pretty sure they do it on purpose).

EDIT: - You little sneaker you, you snuck in on me while I was typing my post! God, I feel like I haven't said that in AGES on the forums.. it used to happen so much! I hope your headache goes away soon!

Oh I am so looking forward to the warm days later this week. Will be able to open the windows and get some natural air flowing. Took off Friday and I plan on enjoying it.

I know guys get screwed by those pieces of shit women, but there's always those like me who didn't have support on one kid and now I'm fighting just for the last few months of the second one. One lady tried to tell me it was back when it was initially changed (ohhhh 10yrs ago when I started my current job) and I immediately disagreed b/c I remember when it went down and it was immediate! Not been able to get a hold of one person that could give me a straight answer.

That's so true... you haven't been able to say that in awhile. :P
Newer cars are a lot more difficult but there will always be the basics you can (mostly) do. Sometimes the oil filter is in the most obnoxious spot ever and you're just forced to pay s/one to do it. Brakes are relatively easy... just need a bit more hand strength than I have right now. I've grown up around car people so it's always been s/thing I'm interested in.

No need for envy here! I'm always envious when people get things accomplished and I just look around thinking, oh gawd when am I ever going to get this down. After we did the brakes, I just chilled out w/ my little bro, drank, got some Chipotle and I passed out. Pretty much lounged around on Sunday, lol.

Honestly, I thought the weirdest part was having a 70 degree day in February. While the drastic spikes up and down (kinda like gas going up over 30 cents one day last week) are more annoying than anything, there are many parts of the world that have had the coldest and most accumulation of snow in years. I'll take the Ohio weather over that. Seems like the upper trade winds and jet stream is going haywire.

I love being able to heart avatars again!! Was thinking how cute this page is w/ the majority of the shorter hair styles.

Still busy at work, mostly w/ documentation crap. Gotta be prepared for the Memorial Day holiday which is like having 3 new people doing a high risk task. lol It will be fine, though. eyeroll oh gawd I just did what my supervisor always does I can SEEE and that's awesome, but my neck hasn't stopped bothering me since last week. Might be time for some new cheap pillows. Hope that's all it is.

Good afternoon KSrs

Did not sleep at all Monday night and was out all day yesterday so by the time I finished dinner I was yawning a lot and nodding off at the computer at about 7pm. So, I shut everything down, got my bottle of water and climbed into bed. Tossed, turned, couldn't stay still or get comfortable and ended up wrapped in a blanket, sitting in a chair watching tv with my mom until after 11. Tried going to bed again and finally fell asleep some time between midnight and 1am. Woke up with a pain in my neck (I am not copying you lol) and couldn't turn my head to the right. It's better now but still aches. Taking ibuprofen helped some. Mom and I spent the morning making chili and lasagna. My brother hopefully will be coming up from Kentucky over the weekend and this way we'll have meals ready so we don't have to worry about too much cooking. I'm going to spend the rest of my day resting with my heating pad that has the neck wrap as part of it so hopefully between the heat and ibuprofen my neck will feel better. Want to enjoy the weather while it's nice for the next couple days before the rain and clouds return.

I'm thinking that was more than any of ya' wanted to know. lol

Really sorry you haven't been sleeping well. Sleep is everything to me and I might as well cancel my day if I didn't get adequate sleep the night before, broken or not, b/c it affects me too much. Especially having to be so detail orientated in my job. I'm now back on iodine which always helped w/ those sleepless nights. I don't necessarily feel less tired... but a lot less fuzzy headed which is what I need.
The newer kitten I got gets lovable in extreme ways, whatever time it is. She will bug me relentlessly until I pet her. Last night, I had fallen asleep early and was peaceful when this happened. It was only 9:30 as I came to realize... after her tail knocked over my drink due to a straw hanging out of it. (short story - had a water container I loved, it broke, I kept the straw and use it in a blender bottle... kind that has the metal round ball at the bottom for smoothies). It immediately ran down underneath me and I jumped up and grabbed some clothes to throw on it - not to mention my top which had already been soaked. Several minutes later, I noticed it was on my laptop and my half consciousness thought it was just superficial. Wiped it off and tried to use it, only to find that it was unusable and I got the BSoD. Twice. Then, it's saying it can't find my boot partition. Lift it up to set it on the floor and find water underneath. Left it on it's side all night until this afternoon and tried it again, only to get the same boot error. Really need that laptop. Not just for the stuff on the hard drive but b/c I absolutely need s/thing to fall asleep to. Voices, music, audiobook, movies... SOMEthing. Extremely grateful of my work laptop right now, although I was finishing up the audio of The Dark Tower series (again) and listening to this particular voice is one of the most soothing things ever.

After I went true camping w/ my daughter a couple years ago, I've had nights where the only thing that would get me to sleep was the sounds of the country nights. When I got divorced over 13yrs ago, I could never sleep w/out a sound, again. I can nap... quite deeply... but it's always when watching tv or s/thing.

TMI... like you said, J. Still, sleep is extremely important and I envy the fact that you will still make yourself do things even when sleep had been non-existent. You should really try some RX meds for that. There's so much more than just Ambien, which scares me but might do you good. (there's criteria for it)

Came home to finish out the day working from home b/c my neck is bothering me too much and there's no comfortable way for me to use a heating pad at work. Ibuprofen hasn't been doing much, which scares me a little. I may just be able to get some corticosteroid shots but I may need to go through a partial of the RF ablation procedure I did years ago, and that was extremely painful, but I had already broached the subject w/ the doctor on how long it would last considering surgery isn't a viable option for me. (back to back herniated/degenerative discs in my neck - surgery does well for only one at a time, not next to each other)

I was actually enthused waking up this morning. My neck didn't bother me which tells me it's not the pillows, but a few hours in to my morning at work, it started its stiffness and when it's already been really sore, it will lead to intense headaches. Haven't had this much pain since my last ablation procedure (twice, one on each side), so.. yeah.
Definitely not discounting your neck pain, J. Any spinal pain is the worst I've ever experienced aside from when I had a double ear infection and my head hurt so bad that everything spun. With meds, even childbirth is easier - except the contractions which I deal w/ in cramps that are similar quite often.

You're always MIA. :P Passwords... omg I have like over 10 and there are 2 just at work that I have to reset every 70 days and they're a strict length of characters and what you've used in the past. F'n annoying.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been exceptionally quiet lately, even in discord. Thank you for all the dances and everything!

I've been really stressing over starting school and going for my teaching degree. I keep bouncing from totally confident to totally not confident and wanting to quit. I can tell myself all the perks of teaching, like the retirement and all that, and all the support I have, but I just...freak out. Was crying yesterday. I'm scared of change, and I'm scared I would make a horrible teacher, even though I have seen some truly horrible teachers and I wonder how they even got the certification. On top of that, Arizona has got this whole 'Red for Ed' thing going on. Teachers may strike any day now. Fun times, there.

Today Radar also hurt his shoulder. He and Izzy were playing fetch with the giggly ball. Gave him some pain meds and have a heat pad on him. I'll be taking him to the vet if he doesn't seem to be getting better.

Good news is I saw my TMJ specialist and I don't have to see him for another 6 months. He still isn't happy I am having a few headaches, but he is happy that I can manage the ones I do have. Really just wants to see me to make sure my bite guard is still good.

I truly hope there is something that can be done for your neck! That sounds so frustrating to have to go through :( Especially on top of all the other things you have going on right now. hugs

I hope you are feeling better, too! Chili and lasagna sound amazing!

I've done that with my passwords sometimes, too, lol. Just too stubborn to actually reset it, because then I have to rewrite my note that I keep my passwords on xD

That is totally true! I always have a good excuse though! Hehe. Usually I'm just lazy and forgetful. :) I am trying to be better about appearing more than once every 6 months. :) I hate it when I have to reset my password. I currently have 2 that I switch back and forth between for my computer at school since they keep making me change it, but don't seem to care that it's new. They are also exactly the same except one has a capital and the other doesn't. I'm super secure. :)

I should totally write my passwords down, but I'd probably lose the sheet. :) I do have some post-its at home with passwords, but none of those passwords are actually valid for anything anymore. I'm a mess. :)

Hi all! Hope everyone has a great day.

Oh I agree! LOVE the blobs and how each is completely different. Now I want a pet slot for each one. Except the marsh one. Its ok but I love the others. Now I wish they would do this for all the pets. At least the new ones. Eww ringworm. But I've heard its not actually worms and you often get it if you are around animals. But I am surrounded by them and have been all my life and never got ringworm. So who knows. Yours with treatment should go away soon though I think.

Hi! Nice to see you. Like your HA.

Hi! Nice to see you too! Haven't you been teaching a long time tho? They were special needs children? So you do have some experience, even if this is a whole new thing for you. I don't know you except for what you write here, but I have the impression that you are a wonderful person, gifted, intelligent, and you care.
