Hope this is an okay entry, but honestly, this is my favorite tree of all time. I believe Schmendrick said it's a Douglas Fir?

I took this one personal when you said (your) favorite tree lol

Its just the simple tree in my back yard of the apts. but i love seeing people climb it last person was a 35yr old D&D DM lol im not even sure what kind of tree it is just that it reminds me of living in the country as a kid... even in the city of Milwaukee i found me a mini forest behind where i live lol
My all-time favorite is a regular Willow, but I like all varieties of it. Pussy Willows are adorable and Weeping Cherry is SO pretty.

Ginkgo have my favorite leaves though.
My favorite tree is the Scots pine, here's a Picture I just love the way it sounds when the wind soars through it's branches.
My favorite tree is the pine :D (all of the varieties, I think!)

My favorite tree would be this one in my parents backyard. I've had this tree since 6th grade when my class went and planted trees in the park ('92) and it has moved with us twice until it came to it's permanent place in the backyard. It used to be smaller then me, but of course now it's a lot taller :)

I'm going to echo the opinions of Cherry Blossom, Willow, and Wisteria, but also add in Jacaranda Trees!
I do not know how to add pictures but I want to include the Gum Trees of Australia. They are very unusual and striking. They remind me of Salvador Dali Surrealism. My favorite tree is the Weeping Willow.
I love birch trees. Their bark is just like paper and peels off. A great fire starter if you are out camping.

plus I love my lemon tree I have in my backyard. Makes some huge lemons.
Im just participating to participate. I don't need to be put in for prize. I own it already ;)
I love the Dogwood. the beautiful flowers it gets in the spring just reminds me of when I was younger and growing up with them in my front yard.
My favorite tree would have to be the redwood. My parents' house was built between redwood groves. I still visit there often. Points of interest~
Giant sequoias and California redwoods (also called coast redwoods) are nature’s skyscrapers. These enormous trees exist primarily in Northern California, and though they have a number of common characteristics, including distinctive cinnamon-red bark, they are different species.
One giant sequoia, known as General Sherman, is the world's largest tree, while a redwood called Hyperion is the tallest.
I really like the willow tree! The way the foliage hangs off the branches is so mysterious and pretty. :)

I have a lot of favorite trees since there are so many beautiful ones, but the most amazing to me is Pando, which is a clonal colony made from a single aspen tree.
"Pando (Latin for "I spread"), also known as the Trembling Giant,[1][2] is a clonal colony of a single male quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides) determined to be a single living organism by identical genetic markers[3] and assumed to have one massive underground root system. The plant is estimated to weigh collectively 6,000,000 kg (6,600 short tons),[4] making it the heaviest known organism.[5][6] The root system of Pando, at an estimated 80,000 years old, is among the oldest known living organisms."
