Can't decide between willows and cherry blossom trees! Leaning more towards cherry blossoms though because I lived in japan for a while :) Just gorgeous
My favourite would be the Weeping Wollow, as it looks lovely (and makes for a great hiding place.)
My Toyhou.se I am always in need of art.

Hi guys! <3
This is so fun. And I particularly LOVE this event because I am a large lover of trees. I am one of those that goes out and literally hugs them all the time. They just feel so good!
Did you know that trees, and walking out in the forest/nature in general apparently releases negative ions that are so good for your health. :D
Anyway, I love all trees. Although, some are easier to hug (less prickly) than others! x)
The one that has always been in abundance where I live, where I climbed, used as safe zones from 'crocodiles' (imaginary of course), laid in a hammock under, did leaf imprints of, and of course always hugged are Silver Maples:

So, upon searching for images of one, I've learned that the Silver Maples in the U.S. differ from the ones here in Canada... the leaves on them in Canada (even broader than that picture actually) are more broad and, 'chubby' looking than the leaves I saw in the ones in the U.S., which are skinnier and more serrated looking.
Interesting find!
Thanks so much for this event. And, your Forest Keepsake Jar bg is so gorgeous! Love it. <3

I like bald cypress trees and live oaks a lot. That's what we have a lot of around here.

This is so hard! I think I'll have to go with Willow.

When I was little, my grandma used to tell me bedtime stories about a kitten who lived in a Weeping Willow tree ❤
I AM ALLERGIC TO FIRS BUT I STILL LOVE THEIR SMELL BUT I CAN'T TOUCH THEM BC THEY'LL MAKE ME BREAK OUT. Weeps. So instead I drown my house in fir-smelling oils or candles so I can feel like I have a real tree too. 8D
There are so many trees I like, and I really enjoyed seeing the photos of all the trees. But, I have to say one of my favorites is the Eastern Redbud, also known as the Forest Pansy. I planted one in my front yard.
It has pretty, tiny pink flowers in late spring, then grows dark red heart-shaped leaves in early summer.
