My childhood obsession with the story has returned full force so a lot of things remind me of it before anything else and I really REALLY do love that tree. xD Glad you knew I wasn't trolling you.

I love the subetabox idea and with all the subscription boxes out now IRL I'm kind of surprised the idea hadn't been thought up before. I'm not sure I could offer good ideas for future stuff, I do feel bad for people who would only use a few items which aren't available in a box together, but I suppose the others will end up on the secondhand market at some point. I'm real tempted to try and figure out how to afford one of this months selections so that I can get that staff and I know my sis loves the hair so maybe her and I can work out something so that we can each get the item we like. I do love the themed box ideas, and I do think it would be nice to see future boxes that could easily be mixed and matched to make HAs for the theme.

Hmm, I think the idea of having the two boxes is a good one, what sort of criteria are you using to decide which two items goes into the smaller box? Are you going to usually offer a background as the contest reward for each month or are there plans to put backgrounds in the box? I don't know a lot about how CWs have to be regulated, but is there some possible way to release a quarterly box that is backgrounds only?

Not a lot of useful feedback there, mostly because I'm still all agog at how lovely the first 4 items are. I can't wait to purchase box B!

Perhaps a future contest might ask for off the wall theme suggestions.

So far I really enjoy the system. :) The pricing is more than fair for what we're getting (and I'm very hesitant to spend real money for these sorts of things). I'm very glad that slots are (currently) unlimited on boxes. I think with as many time zones as there are, and everyone having different schedules IRL, this is the best way to make it fair. I'd hate to come home from work and see that 20 slots worth of boxes filled before I event saw the ping for the release, you know? Missing one chance like that is usually enough of a turn-off for me to start looking at other things ("If I missed this one, or a couple of them, then good odds are my daily work schedule doesn't mix well with the release schedule, so I shouldn't get my hopes up" type of thing). I have absolutely LOVED the mini contests run alongside the release. It's a fabulous idea, it draws attention, and it generates much more conversation with the community. I absolutely love it! The constant bump of this topic from everyone replying to the contests is also great for keeping this thread at the top of the list and generating (potentially) more interest for the boxes!

All in all, I think this is really fantastic. And the artists did an amazing job. I wish I had any amount of talent and could contribute to such an amazing project. ; 3;

I like the concept and the themed months are a great idea. I know things are set prices, but maybe you could have Box A (items 1 and 2), Box B (items 3 and 4) and Box C (items 1, 2, 3, and 4). Each would always be the same price, but it would give a bit more flexibility for people who many only like one item out of the month's theme (they would only have to buy one extra item potentially instead of three to get the one they want).

Also, this might have just been me not reading enough in the post, but I didn't see the background as being available when the box was first released/pinged. I was sad to have missed out on the opportunity (which again, was probably completely my fault).

I absolutely love the subeta box idea! Though I am not able to buy any boxes (cries I am poor atm) This is something I definitely want to invest in! The prices are great and the posts are clear and easy to follow :)

I love the box idea.. and can't wait to see next months items. All the items were outstanding but sadly not what I would of used :3 Would have loved to get the background as I am a nature lover and it is gorgeous by all means. <3 Would also like to see a second box with items 3-4 as an option to give a little more option.

I have no complaints about the current subetabox...I love the forest theme and I love that people came together to do it...I think the only problem, and I understand, is I like like 1 item from each box...or one from the big box...and it wouldnt work for me to buy the whole set..

I love the subetaBox so far! I think all the artists did an amazing job on the items this month -- I just can't see myself actually using any of the items because my skills are not that great always casual

I like the idea of themes, and I'm happy to see that we can vote for themes starting next month, but I also think you should maybe consider letting the available artist for every other month decide on a theme. As nice as I love having a vote (can we give suggestions for themes or only vote?), I think it'd also be nice to give artists a chance pick a theme they want to draw since you guys are nice enough to do this for the community! (Plus you may not have a ton of ideas for a certain theme!)

I like the little contests you all have done, as well, though this is the first one I've participated in - because I think feedback is very important here. I know doing a lot of contests with cw prizes will begin to get expensive. I have no idea if you all plan to have contests every month, but perhaps throw in regular cw prizes like invites, tokens, etc. Maybe even consider opening a donation box for contest prizes, if you do decide to do recurring contests. ^o^

I'd honestly like the option to pick any 2 items for box A or all items for box B. I can't bring myself to buy box B when I only really want 1 item (especially since there is no limit - not that I'm complaining about that)! I just don't think I'd find it very easy to sell the other items I know I wouldn't use - and I don't want to pawn anything!

I understand the reasoning gave earlier to someone else's inquiry about not wanting any items to be more popular than others - but I don't think limiting certain items to box A and everything to box B will discourage that, as there will definitely be many more copies of everything in box A floating around on site (for the simple fact that not everyone will be able to afford box B). I'd be more likely to purchase a box if i could choose 2 items (even if I only really want one)! Though I definitely don't think it should be allowable to get multiple copies of a single item as a box - if that makes sense!

I really like SubetaBox so far and think the idea of themes for each month is great. However, I was confused about the forest bg that was released as part of the contests. I think this item should have been in one of the boxes released this month as I always like how subeta tries to release a new bg with the collection each month.

- I really like the variety and quality of the multi items included in both boxes. I read all the posts and enjoy seeing the different likes dislikes and suggestions. This is a great idea as it exposes a newbie to all Subeta has to offer. Has offered thru the years. There is so much I know nothing about. I am especially interested in Subeta Lore. I was wondering if there could be a theme which highlights the different continents? islands? Backgrounds are very nice of course. Clothing and accessories to reflect customs & heritage of Subeta lands would be a challenge. Must mention that pet companions would be lovely to go with the cultural theme. Big Smiley emoticon would be nice to add if I had one!!!

I love the variety of items in the subeta box along with them centering around a theme. I also like how you let us know in advance what's in them rather then having to take a chance at if it's something we will like or not. I'd love for a background to be included as part of the set in some of the future boxes. :D

I am in shock and awe of why Subeta Box was not a thing earlier. But I know that you and Cathii are the perfect fit for the idea and are doing a wonderful job at it! I feel the 2 boxes are right on the mark in the fact they are fairly priced AND allow those to get what they can afford. Also given the fact that they will be a once only shot the price is more than fair.

What excites me? Each month I have a chance at a unique set of CWs, that means each month is different. ALSO I get to choose if I purchase them or not. One month I may like the CWs but they don't fit my style (As everyones style is different). There is no contract that you HAVE to purchase just to be part of the group. Also I love that you guys are asking everyone what we want, how we feel and making a real community.

As for improvements or my opinion I do have a few. First I want to start with saying these opinions in no way am I making light of the work you guys have put in a BRILLIANT idea. I love this and will take part when I can. Having said that I wonder what are your guys views on selling the items in the future? I am not saying I would sell mine as I am new to collecting CWs and I happen to horde mine lol. But what if someone misses out on a month and wants to purchase an item? Will these items be treated as a private? Or would owners be able to sell them at value? Also I was wondering if perhaps you guys in the future would do a poll or a comment box on an set ideas from us? Like if the buyers could request certain types of sets. I know that I have a darker style than most. I tend to dress mainly in black and white and on the more mystic side. Would it be possible for us to express ideas that may be used for a set in the future? And lastly I love how Cathii has the preview models animated together so we can see them solo and what an outfit would look like. Is there anyway to do a preview for each set? So a model with all items for Box A then a model with every item on to see for Box B so we can see the pieces together? Thank you so much for listening and for asking.

I love the subetabox idea. I think I'd prefer it, though, if there was an option to pick & choose what items you wanted for Box A and Box B. Dunno if that's possible, but it'd be preferable. Like Box A is still only two items for that price/etc, but you get to choose.

Also I wish there there was a separate ping or something for the contests because I didn't really realise the contests were going until recently

Feedback: My favorite part of the cw boxes is the surprise factor. I think it will be fun to look forward to what each new month brings. I like the concept. I like that there is a theme each month. I like the special bg that was used for prizes...wondering if there will be more special items like this in future months? I'm very glad the wig was in box A ^^ I think any wigs should always be in box A lol ;-) Aaaand I like that the mini contests make this thread into a sort of community, as a few others on here have already mentioned ^^

I'm very excited to see what other themes you guys have planned. c: I liked this one a lot. I'm enjoying the mini contests, but I wouldn't mind seeing more slots made available on the BG next time, haha.

I'm really impressed with the first box theme. I think it comes together very well and it shows you put thought into it. :) I'm very much looking forward to other themes you guys come up with and if you ever do a galaxy themed set I may die from happiness jsyk. ^_^

Overall I think it worked out pretty well. Suggestion for next time: stick the items that most go together in the smaller box (in this case, it would've been nice to see the dress/wig in the small box or the staff/headpiece in there), then do the full set in the big box (obviously I bought the big box anyhow but I think it makes more sense to put two items that seem like they go more together into the smaller set, at least to me).

Also, the background as a bonus add-on is great, but so many folks bought the set and missed the BG because there were only 8 slots + the raffled ones. I think it would be nice to maybe do slightly more copies to the buyers, or limit those who can claim the BG (if they want it) to folks buying the big box only? IDK, I'd have missed it either way probably but still haha. It's going to be insanely expensive for me to try and get later most likely unless I get lucky with a raffle slot.

I'll answer both questions. I love that I am getting exclusive CW every month. But, I feel that the selection of which one CW go in a box should be up to a vote. More info on this in the next answer.

I voting System. One where we as a group vote on which items are in which boxes. So if there are the 4 CW then there are 16 possible boxes which would be hectic so have it where you have 4 box configurations. Two selections of the CW that match each other and then two. like you had this month, where you had to buy Box B to get the matching CW.

Box Names. I feel that the box names A and B are just too plain. Maybe give them quirky names that have to do with the theme. That the theme this month could have been named "Hidden in the Forest" Box A "Princess Stag" Box B "Raven Forest".

Also, maybe ass a discount after so many months of getting a certain box.

I'm replying to you all personally because you mentioned the BG - that whole mess is all totally on me, LOL. I contributed the BG and submitted it as just 1 batch because I wanted to make it really special for our very first box release, but I think it backfired a little bit! I didn't expect demand to be so high. ;;; And I apologize for the confusion on how to claim a slot in the beginning. I didn't explain it well for sure. Lessoned learned for next time!

There will two copies given away, so there is still at least a small chance to get a copy.
