This is a picture I took some years ago. I want to say its a maple tree, but I am not 100% sure. It remains one of my favourite tree's to this day. I took it in the middle of December in Florida at a local park where I used to live. :)

I love so many trees....but this one stands out for me right now..

Well there are so many trees to choose from! I love a lot of flowering trees but I'm gonna say the Maple Tree. I'm Canadian and the maple leaves are so beautiful. Plus the sap becomes delicious syrup!

Sakura Trees/Cherry Blossoms are my favorite trees. They are so beautiful in Japan and Washington DC. :D

When I was a little girl, there was one in our backyard that had a fork of branches that made a perfect seat for me. I used to sit up in it and read. I love their flowers and they make me nostalgic.

I was going to say Birch as I've always liked those, but as I have the best memories with the European Beech trees we had in our backyard I'll go with those. I loved to climb in them. If you let them develeop naturally and don't cut off too much you get alot of good branches that will also hold a grown ups weight. Also their roots look pretty amazing.

My fav tree would be red oaks, they are just so beautiful or Magnolias!!

Is it too late to talk about my favorite trees? My absolute favorite is the Japanese maple in front of my house. I also like the way they featured a Japanese maple in the movie The Ring. Besides that, I'm a fan of pine trees. I like their smell and the way they look in the snow.

Everyone's entries were soooo goooood! I LOVE TREES! I was happy to see such a wide variety, too, and everyone that posted their personal favorite trees (like from their yards/hildhoods) made me want to weep. ;_; I had a favorite tree as a kid, too! I also learned about a couple that I've never heard of...like Rainbow Eucalyptus/Gum tree is hecka wild. Anyway....

Also! The last of the box items were finally accepted last night, so will be contacting everyone that purchased a box so far with trades! YAYYYYYYYY! And remember, the boxes will be available for sale through the month, so if you can't afford it now, there's still time to save and get a box. ^^

I am loving the subetabox. I love how there are different items to each theme and a wide variety. I do like the price points for the boxes. I think it is very reasonable considering how many pretties you are getting. Great job on the first box! Can't wait to see what is to come next!

I like most the dress, cause I love this green. But I afraid I cant use it. If I got more CSC I would buy it. The other things are beautiful, too. But I'm SURE I cant use it...-__-

I think you all did really great with the theme for this month and all of the items are super cute! I just wish you could choose which 2 items you could get in Box A, rather than having a set two. One of my favorite items is in Box B and I like never have that much csc on hand. xD So yeah, it would be fun to be able to pick and choose.

I love this, it's a great idea and gives me something to look forward to in the middle of the month when nothing is going on. I'm happy with the prices and so far, the art is superb and I'm excited to see next months items!

The only thing I would change is that the items could be released in a separate post to the contest, it confused me a bit this time because I thought the first 8 got the background for free (lol), so I hurriedly claimed a slot before reading the rest of it (my fault) it was just a bit confusing with so much going on. That is to be expected though when everything is new, you guys are still getting the kinks out.

I think Cathii set up the boxes the way she did to make sure the boxes are always the same price, going by the item categories for each CW. That said, it doesn't hurt to consider other alternatives, so we appreciate your feedback!

I'm sorry that first post was confusing! There definitely was a LOT going on, but we didn't want to ping the group two separate times, as we figured no one would end up seeing the second post. Next month we plan on starting the contest the day before the actual items release (things just didn't work out this month), so hopefully that will solve this issue. Thank you for your feedback, though, and your patience LOL! Definitely still working kinks out. :3

I really like the price on the boxes. This box in particular I wasn't super jazzed about because almost none of the items appealed to me. The items are cool! But not things I would use. I would have to agree with that it does get confusing between the slotting for the box and the contest side. I'm pretty interested in next month's box and what you guys make!

For some reason, I got two challenges today as the "favorite tree" challenge was posted after I was done with Subeta yesterday :( Even though there's already been a winner for that challenge, I'll post my favorite tree any ways. I love weeping willows. I think they are beautiful, unique trees and when I was a kid, they were so much fun to climb!

So, I think for my feedback for the SubetaBox, I would have to say, please give a full 24 hours for each additional contest you may run so that it is fair to all users in different time zones or with various commitments. I really like the current SubetaBox and I'm still debating which one I may want and how to come up with the funds for it! It would be cool to purchase individual items or make your own box of the items created. For example, I would love a box of the Staggering Locks and Pouch of Forest Essence, but I most likely wouldn't use the Jewel of the Raven Princess or the Headdress of the Raven Princess, even though they're really well done CWs. They're just not my personal style.
