I see a lot of deer when I go on long drives. Occasionally there will be a turkey or some geese. Once I went to the zoo and there was this enormous mossy leech-covered snapping turtle blocking traffic. It got across the street okay, though.
A few weeks ago I spotted a seagull, while that doesn't sound odd, I live way inland.
Lots of birds, mainly pigeons, doves, crows, jackdaws, gulls and magpies. I live in the countryside so I've seen lots of wildlife. You've got the usual ones, like rabbits and grey squirrels but I've seen a few muntjac deer too, which is rare because they usually hide away in the forests surrounding the town. Seen a mouse darting across the road a few nights ago too, but it was dark. I just saw this bright mouse-shaped thing dart across the road through my fiancees car headlights.
But lately there have been a lot of crows. Apart from that I tend to only see wildlife as roadkill.
There are two rats in the garden taking it in turns to steal food from the guinea pigs' bowl.

Well, now that's it's spring again there are many bunnies hopping around and quite a few hummingbirds. The cactus wrens have been hanging around too. :)
What's happening with the animals over on your side of the world?
Just birds, squirrels and the like around here. I have however been watching April the Giraffe waiting to give birth on the live web cam feed at Animal Adventure Park.
Lol, just realized that I can pull up the feed on my Blu-ray player and watch it on TV. :)
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Lots of moose here! I don't see them much but I see their tracks and scat every once in a while. They'll walk right down the sidewalk and munch on the trees in peoples' yards. Other than that, not very much. I did see a red squirrel the other day, as well as a lot of small birds. Chickadees and sparrows with red spots on their foreheads. The ducks are returning which is nice to see.
oh no! Sounds like the plot of a movie. Hope ur guy is eating well.
Only grackles and squirrels.
Spiders too, if those count.

A bald eagle, some early songbirds, and more moose poop than I've ever seen under all the snow that's melting right now. Crazy kids!
Plus some of the ducks and geese have made it back up north here. :)
Just moved to the country in February. Just this week we've seen a coyote, bunnies, roadrunners, deer and ewww a cotton mouth snake.
I saw some birds on my balcony. We have a bird feeder so my cat can watch them. I also saw a rabbit! Gotta love city life.
I saw a hawk and a bat fly across the tennis court yesterday!

Mostly the usual birds -- hairy woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, ravens, grey jays, black-capped chickadees, boreal chickadees, and redpolls -- but the slate-colored juncos have returned for the summer, and I had a ruffed grouse showing off for my chickens this morning, hahaha. Also had a vole in the house, which one of the cats (Ruger) took care of.
Nothing particularly exciting.
Living in the Midwest I've been seeing a lot of turkey vultures, starlings, red-winged blackbirds, and bossy grackles. Oh, and while driving home I spotted a muskrat alongside the road (alive and well).
Lots of birds and squirrels but not much else yet. :)
