If this is what is causing the lag and sometimes unexpected shutdown of Chrome when going back a page, I know what to be annoyed at now.

No one has said anywhere that they're 100% sure that's what's happening. That's not the point.

Its extremely worrying that Keith is so absent from his own site and that's the reason why.

Could it be that he is at this time absent, because has a second job to earn more money to improve Subeta in the future?

I don't think someone who has been absent from the site for nearly a month (he very briefly connected in mid-february) has this site as a priority anymore.

I have a feeling Keith is actually moving on from Subeta. It's been around for 11 years, but it's no longer his top priority right now.

Subeta is the second job, now, as it helped him develop competences. It was a nice thing for a while, but he has bigger fish to fry, now, from what I'm guessing.

Can't blame him, honestly. I'd probably do the same. Really wish there was less guessing and more official wording on the transition, if there is one.

I thought the other job was a volunteer basis? I could be wrong but I was under the impression it was more like a charity type thing.

But either way, if Subeta is left to rot while Keith is off earning money to improve it "later" without making any improvements now we're still in the exact same situation. If Keith is not here now its extremely worrying. If nothing is done to fix the problems the site has now it won't last.

I'm not sure if it's paid or not, but it's a nonprofit. There are paid jobs in some nonprofit organizations.

For clarity, in the hope the state of affairs to understand this is happening:

1 Keith has another job besides subeta, therefore he is more absent than before.

2 He has delegated some functions to other staff members. (At this moment it seems Amber is at least active here).

3 Or subeta slowly dies on the internet is possible, but not certain. So there is reason for concern and need clarification.

Subeta is not going to die, there is content for the next few months.. if I'm not wrong they already have the first steps of the summer plot.. now, with or without Keith, Subeta can stay, the staff is very independent anyway (Rah and the artists, Amber and Ariel, the programmers) so in case if Keith will leave he can just teach Amber or one of the programmers everything..

I'm pretty sure that the programmers can fix this bug but I guess this bug is just not "important".. so it's not urgent for them to fix it..

A simple google search shows that not only Subeta is suffering from this problem between Pusher and firefox and there are few solutions on Pusher website + there is the support there.. so they are not alone to deal with it and can work with Pusher to solve it. The question is why they are not doing it? especially after almost 6 months..

Keith said that all the bugs are recorded from critical to not imporant.. so I guess that this bug is in between or simply not important and will be fixed some day when the staff will have a spare time to fix it..

I just ad-block it. Problem solved. xD They have so much background crap going on I have to check my ad block on a regular basis to see if they've added anything else I need to block out.

You can still ad block pusher. I don't know what the hell that even does. Most of the google/cloudfare crap you have to keep tho. I just disable ad block on certain pages like the news page and what have you.

Pusher is the service that gives us the live events and the hovers of the items.. do you get the events and the hovers while blocking it?

Live events? Like [Sorry subeta is lagging right now. We are currently working on a solution!] On the non-blocked pages I do. And if there is a hover I want, like on the news or token shop or someone releases a new CW or the cash shop or sometimes the search bar, I just disable ad block on those pages. But when I just want to quest or restock I don't have to deal with them.

oh ok this is what I thought, it's not a good solution for me because I'm often forget many things and I need the events to be active all the time, I don't want to miss anything lol xD

It wouldn't be as big a deal that hasn't posted in over a month if or were coming to this thread to communicate with us.

You finally responded to the board about the errors and blank pages and I appreciate that. Could we get some kind of update on this, too?

Is it possible that Pusher is causing all the errors and blank pages? I don't understand too much with servers but when Pusher is not done loading, it's probably requesting too much information from the server (all firefox users) and killing it, is it possible??
