I considered clay, but it's been so long since I've properly sculpted anything I'd just end up disappointing myself.
I'd hoped to have my entry finished yesterday, but it's more time consuming than I'd expected. It also doesn't help that I managed to bruise a nerve in my thumb in the process, so I'll probably have to wait until Monday to start again while it heals a bit.
I JUST got back from vacation with limited wifi and no computer, so I'm glad they extended the deadline! I haven't done art in years and I don't write stories, so here comes my HA to rack up those participation points. I'm so excited to see what people come up with though.
Yikes, how's your thumb now? Clay is cool; some of my friends make the most beautiful sculptures and pots.
Mostly fine, but still a bit half-numb and tingly. Certainly better than it was. It all sounds a bit dramatic, but it only happened because I have an unorthodox pen grip, and have it resting against the arch between my finger and thumb. It's not normally a problem, but my grip must have been too tight.
As good as the extension is for some people, I'm so impatient so see the entries! Four more days is a long time!
Ha, being dramatic is so much fun! (Except when my entire family decides to be dramatic about something. So much upset. Not as much fun as usual.) That sounds like an unusual problem, hm.
It is actually such a long extension though. Usually we only get an extra day to do anything.
ooh good job with the black and white HA. I almost thought the CSS from last summer's plot was available again somehow until I looked closer.
Thank you. The face paint kind of ruins it though. No matter how many times I go see Gabriel it doesn't wash off.
I ended up just going with a drawing. I wanted to do a shoe box diorama because I haven done one since third grade. But I ended up with a colored pencil drawing which turned into a marker drawing which turned into a watercolor paint drawing.
I actually don't see any face paint on my end, it might be your cache.
Shoe box diorama would've been super cute. Did anyone else ever do those salt dough dioramas/maps in elementary school?
Hi y'all, it's time for another subeta mini-event!
FYI - according to a comment on the news post, you don't actually have to succeed in baking something with Fantine to check off that task, apparently it's just an attempt. However, it'd be great if someone's who's had the task and failed at baking something can confirm if this is true or not.
Good luck from me under my blankets to u blanket fort ppl!!! Edit: And good luck to everyone who entered the contest!
This raffle thing mostly looks like it should be fairly hassle free. Most of the tasks are the sort of thing that come up in Drills quests, anyway.
I'm very glad I submitted a sculpture for the art contest. I'm not sure of my chances of winning, but at least my entry will be seen. I'm also surprised at how few drawings there are.
I don't know if it could help someone, but... For today, my quest are:
Donate any item to the Donation Center Purchase a box from the Hustler Pick a ticket from Ruffie Raffle Pull 1 items from the Mystery Box Plant a seed or water a plant in your garden at Veta Lake Battle any opponent at the Battle Coliseum Feed 1 minions trapped in the Galaxan Wastelands Get 1 crystal(s) from the fragmentizer Donate any food item to Charity Take a dip in the Bathhouse Pools
Good luck all.
On an unrelated note, if there are any artists here - or those who know artists - looking to draw, please let me know. Thanks.
Grimmsy Grimmling, Escort Of Souls
Love is all you need.
Best of luck for you all!
I've noticed that some tasks need a little sp because some the price of items (for creating scrolls, for fantine bakery) are getting higher. If someone needs Baking Starter Kit for complete Fantine's task, or Empty Vial for scrolls, could write here :) maybe someone from the Team could make some gift! We could help each other!
Thats a really sweet gesture of you. And I got a baking quest already, but I was lucky that it only amounted to about 250k because I had smaller priced items & had a rum extract in my vault. Those two + pet zapper are probably the most problematic quests tbh.
Blackout and Fireball are the level one scrolls which don't need an Empty Vial to make, if anyone is interested (Blackout requires significantly fewer items to make, so I'd stock up on those while you still can).
None of the level two scrolls need an Empty Vial either, and they're generally pretty lenient in terms of what they ask for.
for knowledge (thanks !): Blackout Scroll: 4 x + 2 x + 1 x + 1 x
Fireball Scroll: 1 x + 4 x + 3 x + 3 x + 2 x + 1 x + 4 x + 2 x
...brimstone is getting pricey!
if anyone needs anything for these "quests"--or anytime (even when this raffle event is over) please don't hesitate to ask. I have a HUGE amt of stuff on this acct and I'm working on dismantling it--eventually want to give it all away (not the pets yet, but will be looking for good homes for them as well)
