I won an orange :o
Main Cosplays: Harley Quinn, Captain Marvel, Elsa, Mera, & American Dream
[-Dattoo] It's irritating but at the same time I feel like if I cared enough about it I might do it too.
Lets not forget the alchemy stuff as well. [item=Alchemy Token: Wearable] going for almost 100k. Which is way too much for me to risk considering the you have a chance of crafting multiple things with the same ingredients. Might end up with six one something you don't need and none of the one you don't.
Congrats
I got , and a forum point. The chances of getting some of the good stuff was pretty tiny.
The inevitable complains about the raffle prizes are especially petty. It's just sad, more than anything.
I didn't win anything, and that's OK since I don't NEED anything, but the little kid in me would have enjoyed winning a little something. I entered all seven days. One of my other friends here won three prizes. Maybe I'm crazy, cause I know that raffles are games of chance, but I've always thought it would be more fun if everyone had more of a chance to win--in which case raffles would have to be conducted in such a way that multiple wins would be forfeited. THAT, however, would defeat the purpose of a raffle, and I DO understand that.
I have never been lucky with any sort of real life (or virtual) raffles, but when I was a kid my family always took home one to three cakes from a cake walk. Wouldn't you know it--we won a bunch of CAKE and got to keep up our tradition of eating a LOT of fatty and sugary food (something that nobody in MY family ever needed help with, lol)
Does anybody else remember a real life cake walk? Those were fun. We went around in a circle while music played and when it stopped, we stopped and stood on a paper plate (there were a bunch of them on the floor in a circle) and if the plate you were standing on had a number written under it--you WON a cake. Some of those cakes were awesome--all were donated, and all were completely homemade, and I DON'T mean with a cake mix--this was the good old days!!
Where in the heck would anyone participate in a cake walk, you might ask: at a cub scout event (my brothers) or a MOOSE lodge event (my dad was a member) or at the county fair, or any number of social/community events that used to happen back in the days when there were no computers or video games to distract people--we actually looked at each other to talk, lol. I would NOT mind going back to those days again, except for the fact that it's a lot easier to connect to people who are far away nowadays (and to find people).
I was in one at a church Halloween event a few years ago. They held it because a lot of parents aren't comfortable taking their kids out ToTing in the neighborhoods. I didn't win but they gave me some cupcakes anyway.
I don't know who it was, but someone just sent me an anonymous gift with some goodies in it. Whoever it was, thank you ;w; <3
Oh that's nice, cupcakes are always good! :)
OK folks, what do we think of it?
I'm referring to the hint of a new "game" which seems to be revving up, Blake Steele is looking for people who seek adventure and Saggi wants those who are looking for a prosperous opportunity.
Do we stick together as a team when this rolls out, or go our separate ways? I like the idea of joining Saggitarius, but that's just me.
What do others think? We certainly don't have to stick together as a team, if this IS indeed a team challenge, but it might be fun.
I think it's fine for people to choose their own teams.
I'm leaning towards Saggi myself.
Of course it IS fine if people want to choose their own teams, and I said as much--I merely thought it might be fun to do this as a group.
Yeah. I meant I wont be offended if others want to join a team that I don't want to but I won't mind switching to a group team if that's what others want to do.
I'm nothing if not adaptable :)
I just always thought Saggi was kind of cool and he has nice hair and purple clothes. So thats my reasons. I imagine, if we get team themed prizes, that Saggi's will be pretty cool too.
What said....Im waiting on more info ^_^
Main Cosplays: Harley Quinn, Captain Marvel, Elsa, Mera, & American Dream
Seeing as we all came dead last in the previous team event, it'd be more fun for us to split up so some people can be on the winning side for once.
I'm also leaning towards Saggi for now. Though I rather hope it's not another competitive event. They're a bit tiresome.
I like Saggi, if only because he gives me sP from his quests.

It took three days and a lot of patience but my WL is ready for Alegarten, Keel Hauliday, and Morostide.
Theres some really cute food for Morostide.
I chose Blake too...
Main Cosplays: Harley Quinn, Captain Marvel, Elsa, Mera, & American Dream
I chose Blake as well! I don't like people who slay Dragons... P:
What you're running from.
Would your bones have to b r e a k
And your lights turned off?
I'm a bit disappointed that the advantages of each team seem to come down to more content vs more sp. I'm not in any desperate need for more money, but I really don't like Blake.
I still think I might go for Saggi after all. His seems to be the smaller team, anyway.
