Wew those scroll ingredients are getting pricey for their rarity.

Guess I can't blame people for taking advantage of it, free market and everything, but it still ticks me off a bit.

Can I just vent here for a second about the Summer Raffle event?

I've done everything on my list since the lists/event started, and today's I had baking for like the 4th-5th day in a row, so I dropped prob about a mill again, and one more task is unable to be completed;

And I can't do it, because I'm one of those people that always puts all my pets in the resort everything 28 days, and yeah, I had no idea this event was going to be happening 10 days or so ago just.. its kind of really unfair? And I realize you can not enter a day or so and still have a chance, but the fact that they don't have a check out button isn't my fault? And.. I'm just upset right now, its literally one task from being done and there's nothing I can do about it and all that money and time wasted doing the other tasks for today is just completely pointless now :(

I'm re-watching Scrubs on Netlfix right now. I love that show, so funny.

you can check your pets out of resorts. Go to "Pets" under the "personal" tab. Find the pet you want to check out and it will say "This pet is in the resort!" with a "Remove" text botton underneath.

What baking ingredients do you need? I might be able to help.

You can? Sigh, I'm an idiot of course. I usually just try to do the Tier 1 recipes. I've been able to pull a few ingredients out of my vault just on pure luck of liking to hoard things. Restocking is impossible, though. I can't remember if you can vend regular foods or not I think so? I might try that too. If you have any extra and you're not wanting to sell, I'd appreciate any of the ingredients for the rice pudding/maple cookies, because those are always my go to for baking.

yeah, checking out your pet is not an intuitive process. I had to search around the forums to find if I could remove my pets from resorts or not.

The Celebration Gift vending machine is the one you want. I just used it and got some really good ingredients. The Shining Crane vending I use to get spell items for scrolls.

Yeah I went into the news post and I came off as probably whining but I was hoping just to get an answer like the one you gave me, because I couldn't figure it out and I couldn't see a reason why there wouldn't be, esp seeing as, like I'd said, you couldn't tell the future and know there was something coming up that you'd only need to check your pets in so many days instead of your usual.

I haven't actually needed to make a scroll yet, and for that, I'm grateful. I have had to bake everyday, though, so I guess it makes it up somewhere. I knew there was one machine. I'll need to check that out because RS isn't happening. I think the only two things I managed to RS were cashews & milk. Thank you for letting me know about the resort thing, though, because I honestly thought I'd have to forfeit a day and I was kind of mad that I'd gone through all of that and wouldn't get to finish.

Lol don't even worry about it. I actually just noticed that that's one of my tasks for today, too, and I wanted to come here anyway to say I DON'T HAVE TO BAKE TODAY FOR THE FIRST DAY as well. :)

Inflating prices on common items irks me too lol, although I do that for some items that have been stuck in the pawn shop too long. Anyway, I'm supposed to make a scroll today and just probably won't enter today.

When I went to do my Genetech lab item the other day there were only two shops in the listing and it was for millions. And this one is only a mundane rarity. I ended up going with a different combo of course.

And then, despite being common or mundane, the items are never in the main shops when you need them.

If you can get the empty vial from the Crystal Shop you can do a scroll that uses a few less ingredients than the vial-less ones. It still might cost you but it might be a bit less.

Luckily, I haven't had any tasks including scrolls. Just baking with Fantine (which is also a bit pricy).

[-Dattoo] I had scrolls twice and Fantine twice. Haven't done a lot of baking since it was released specifically because the common rarity ingredients are so expensive secondhand. They're not terribly hard to restock but you have to sit watch the shop. For the raffle though I was just buying the thing from the MC. A bit easier then hunting down the cheapest of each ingredient for whatever recipe would be cheapest.

Ouch. I've had Fantine probably three or four times, but that's all. The other tasks are relatively cheap and fun as compared to that. But yeah, I agree. The high prices on common items are probably the reason why I haven't baked all that much either.
