It's verging on over three hours now? That's absolutely ridiculous.
On the bright side, the time I could've spent restocking can now be used more productively. I can do my homework or organize my vault!

Are any of y'all having slow sales in your user shops lately? I don't know if it's just me, or related to inflation from the RS problems, or what, but I've hardly sold anything the past few days, while usually my sales are fairly brisk. (My stock is mostly items I get from quests.) I feel like going through and dropping all my prices by a few thousand sP...
So, Keith mentioned us torching the site? Sure, why not?
The only items moving fairly quickly in my shop are books that I restock late at night in Subetan time - that was last night, when restocking was still broken, but the restock times weren't verging on three hours then.
Granted, my store isn't huge but I do restock a lot of the same things as you - things from quests. My sales are usually pretty good but over the past few days they've been pretty dismal.

I think this latest tweak is doing it for us. :)
Seriously, though, it's no wonder an increasing number of players are complaining.
Okay, so it's not just me. Thanks for confirming!
I cannot ping everyone but shops just restocked :) sorry it took a bit but I wasn't paying attention to shops this morning.

No problem!
Thanks for letting us know! I just checked - it seems either everyone jumped on the restock or the restock items were pretty dismal, because I didn't snag anything. Some shops don't have very much stock, like the Book Nook. Boo.
At least we know that the shops do restock - we should just expect to sit and wait for 2 and a half to 3 hours.

I am hoping the fix that was pushed will stick! It shouldn't be that long between now but please do let me know!

That's great to hear, thank you so much for letting us know! I'll try to keep an eye on restock times - hopefully it doesn't get as bad as that previous restock.

Please leave before we torch the site, you're too precious to burn D:
I have 990 problems with site communications but you are 0 of them
But but but :( I hope to be on a bit more now to help out with reports. Mini-me has been taking up a lot of my time.
[edit] Thank you anon for the teddy bear!!!

You got me, this is an actual picture of me right now
But in all seriousness, I haven't seen anyone saying that they want to torch the site. Mostly I've seen people who are frustrated because a) something that they like to do on Subeta is borked up and b) the lack of communication from staff about it.
I personally don't restock, but I haven't been buying anything from ANY shop lately because I knew this was being worked on and item prices were likely skewed (and not in my favor either). Was just waiting and occasionally checking this thread to see if things had settled down (click ..."welp, still broken, still no word. Back to Netflix then." logout)
So yeah, this issue affects more than just the people who restock, and the sooner it's resolved, the better.
Gotta say I find it somewhat ironic to have these concerns called "hyperbolic" and then hyperbolically characterized as "burning down the site."
Can't say I feel particularly listened to at the moment, frankly.
Everyone keeps mentioning a previous survey or feedback form. It would be nice if this next one was advertised more widely, because I sure didn't see the last one. I'd like to have at least a little viable input on this next one, since it appears that reasonable thread commentary is considered the next best thing to mass hysteria and doesn't seem to be taken seriously.
i know it says "restocked x minutes ago" but a lot of the shops dont actually restock that many new/additional items
Just checked the Book Nook - it says restocked 2 minutes ago but a lot of the stock is pretty much the same as what it was ten minutes ago, before the restock. It still doesn't have a full stock.
It's great that we're getting more frequent restocks! But it appears there's an issue with the actual items being restocked too.

yup. Like the apocalyptic apothecary says "restocked now" and has no stock.
Lets see...
Major site function broken because staff "fixed it" and then staff fucked off for a week with not a single word regarding said feature or any fixes or information gathering in the works?
Yeah, I can see how the users here are totally "Over reacting". Pull your head out of your ass, please and start to give a shit about your livelihood.

^^This. I appreciate Keith chiming in finally, but seriously? Burning down the site? I think all of us are trying to throw our two cents in because we genuinely care about this site and are unhappy with the current RS situation, which has led to us devoting time to posting feedback because we care. Where exactly did he get burning down the site from? Because users are frustrated with a completely broken RS system that has seen little improvement since its major overhauls and all the tweaks along the way that have yet to improve things even a little bit? Seems to me it's more us worried about him burning it down as everything continues to get halfway revamped and then ignored all while more and more users get peeved, give feedback, and then for the most part also get ignored... :/
There's been a number of suggestions given in this thread and others on some potentially more effective ways to create positive economic change without removing site features that users love while still providing adjustments to stabilize the economy. None of those were addressed though. I do appreciate him letting us know the plan behind the scenes of tweaking things once a week and evaluating data as things progress since that helps to give feedback geared toward that plan, but between him not addressing even one of the suggestions made and tossing around statements about his users saying they want to burn down the site (I've read pretty much every post in every thread on every forum I could find on the site's economic issues lately and really don't recall anyone making this statement) it really doesn't feel like he's listening much. Bare minimum at best.
