Woah...when did commons become so pricey in NPC shops? Since when did things get so expensive to RS? O_o Now I'm beginning to see, I think, what all the hype is about. 6k for a common? Other commons, Uncommons, etc, also that pricey? I dunno. I think that things should be rethought out. A common for 6k in an NPC shop and being able to get it for around 1k in player shops doesn't make any sense at all...

Except 6K is nothing, you have to check what to restock for a profit.

Not everything will be profitable because of undercutters.

since always? official price is never according to rarity, otherwise it will be too easy to grab higher rarity.

as for user price: -items enter through quests, vending, rs etc. (the supply) -nobody's buying. (the demand) -people got scared and impatient, begin cutting each other prices off hoping to sell. (the price)

• so the conclusion is when the supply is high and the demand is low, the price will be low.

so are shops ever gonna stop not restocking for 20-30 mins at a time, or is this the new normal forever now

Times have been increasingly long...seriously long in some cases. Shops that sell lower value goods like Half Baked and Rathskellar need to restock fairly often waits of 30-60+ minutes on these shops is ridiculous.

Restocks are awful now. I've more or less given up trying to restock anything.

It really is a mess. I don't like to complain, I really don't, but restocking is absolutely my favorite thing, and these changes have ruined it. Please please please either really fix it or put it back to the way it was before it was fixed.

Yeah, restocking is still in a sad state, and I'd love some focus back on it.

I gave up restocking quite awhile ago. I hardly saw any rares and super rares I had been restocking and after several days of nearly nothing I gave up. I do sometimes try for new stuff but not the time I have normally spent on subeta restocking before the changes. It's not worth my time anymore.

Guess I'm in the minority for a change. Restocking has actually been going well for me the last week or so. I've been hanging in my core 7 stores plus atebus and food for the new items. Luckily I've grabbed quite a few of the new items and the usual good sellers (for me) have been loading steadily. Overall stock times have gotten stretched out a bit far though. Knock on wood that my lucky fluke keeps coming.

I'm really puzzled by this page's posts. I could restock all day and get lots and lots of rares and super rares. Is it me that's buying them all?

As far as the Tubes book, probably nobody's looking for it since there aren't a lot of easily found restocks that earn the big sP in that shop, so it goes out of stock as nobody buys it. Theres a chunk of small-profit items, but no really big ones. When it comes back, we've forgotten to look for it.

But what about the 30+min wait times for a restock...

Must be my crappy luck then that I kept checking the SS several times a day every day this week for this book until I finally caught one in the Beach Shack yesterday... Could this be a timezone thingy? I mean, I'm in Europe and probably online when there are less other people around, which translates to less restocks, if I've understood the system correctly.

I'm with you. Restocking has been really great for me. Granted I do keep a core of about 8 shops open with a constant refresh. Then circulate through all the others except minion, beanbag, and plushie (always confused in those personally). Overall my shop tills are doing really well. Maybe it is because my restocking style is spread through so many shops. Plus my philosophy is buy an item if I can make at least 10 times the cost.

Your explanation makes sense, but I'd think I would have caught TUBES earlier if no one else was buying it. I kept checking in several times a day, refreshing once a minute or so, for 10-20 minutes at a time. However, like I said above, I do really have crappy luck with these, so perhaps I just kept missing it.

I have found other similarly expensive low rarity books in other shops too (outside of Book Nook, that is), so I guess I'll start stalking for them now and make big bucks if everyone else is ignoring them XD

do you want items to restock all the time and be worthless and restocking be pointless, or would you ratehr wait a while between restocks to make good money. If it's too long of a wait between, add more shops to your restocking list.
