Hey, whilst I have your attention....:D I have been asked about having a page that shows all the cash shop challengers, their stats and the item used to unlock them. While this may be tedious to do in the cms it would not be difficult. But I thought maybe you might want to get creative with a form kind of thing similar to the delish page or sbtq page or trunk page or any of those. I know it would be a good bit more boxes to have to add amd may make it more cumbersome for you ....

Hey y'all, idk how we fix this, but apparently some of our weapon stats are incorrect and the battle admins think it's super funny to tell folks we're wrong and act like it's our fault we don't know when we crowd source the info on things we can't make and add to our own inventory.

Apparently Maniacal Slappy Hand blocks 20 physical instead of fire. But we may need to ask folks on the battle forums to let us know if we have stats wrong for those upper tiers weapons.

By we, I do mean not me, as apparently they all hate me for saying that the Hydragellos cap to get a core was not cool and I maligned the entire community somehow and also murdered their families or something. But if anyone else gets along with themz we've apparently got lots of stats wrong and we're a joke to the battle admins so shrug

Lemme just dig out my spare core and slappy hand and make one so I can see for myself....oh wait, don't have those because this was the first year I got a core and made the other weapon....

: I've known that some of our weapon stats were wrong -- I figure that Subeta just nerfs/'rebalances' weapons from time to time and doesn't bother to tell us. I'm not a serious battler (like the rest of you, I have a life), though I participate in Battle Quests for the exp points. I don't have a core or a slappy hand yet, and I'm not getting one just to correct the stats.

If y'all want, we can just stop displaying battle stats altogether.

1. Changing the Item Notes search so that searching works across HTML tags: worked on that today and failed spectacularly. On to plan B. (The trick is to extract the text, but not the tags, from 100000+ items in order to search, without bogging down the whole system.)

2. Tagging wardrobe items other than the head layer: Mostly finished; if I don't get it finished this weekend, I've got a three-day weekend the following week and I should definitely have it done by then.

3. Cash Shop Challenger tracking.

You know, I hope, that I am not asking or expecting you to do it all on your own. In fact, I need things to do. So don't take it away from me! Just help me know the best way to set it up and f you need to, do coding to make it work. When you get to it. ❤️

I'm bitter for so many reasons about so many things re: that attitude that gets aimed at us.

Like...honestly, SL is such a beautiful labor of love and like you, I'm like...if y'all don't appreciate it then why do we bother trying to help at all. (Also one of the other items was nerfed and like...how are we to know???).

It's very frustrating. Like...we can't all afford billions in weapons just to check stats. There's exactly 0 reason that all of the weapons on site can't have the stats show up in hover and/or in the item directory (especially since some do). Being crappy about it when they use our site to confirm before buying weapons without that info in the hover is bs. If the community says the stats are X and we use that, it's on them.

hugs I want to tell you that I love you lots and I have always been super grateful to y'all and am very glad to now be part of the folks who keep SL going with item info.

I really love that we do have some super appreciative folks too who comment us (politely) to help correct info or provide new info. But I feel just like you do when a small group of folks acts so uppity like...maybe be helpful instead of an a** about things. Also I think that what you've written is super clear but honestly idk if it's worth sending. She's paid staff here and I doubt she'll give a crap :/

Well I sent it the way it was. I don't even care at this moment if she knows how much it hurt me. In fact I think I want her to see that. But it probably won't have the desired result of shame and mortification and embarrassment! okay, mostly just joking.

But I did want to remind her that no one gets paid!

the really best part is that back when we first started adding CWs s he was one of 2 people to get them entered and updated. In-fact, I offered her a job at that time and she basically said it was too much work. you notice I did not tell her it was much easier now.

Of course. Whenever I get super frustrated with the people who are rude, I remind myself that there are some really awesome and grateful people who appreciate the work everyone puts in.
