I think all the new Masquerade stuff is entered and ready (thanks Lypsyl!) Who wants to make the news post?

Big important news: We will lose the name 'subetalodge.org' in August. The name's registered to Georgie, and can legally only be transferred to her executor.

I'm in the process of moving the site over to the new address https://subetalodge.us, in order to keep everything running past August. This'll take a while to get all of the old page references moved over. When you hit a subetalodge.us page for the first time, you'll be logged out (because your login cookies were set for subetalodge.org) but there shouldn't be any issues after the first time.

My plan is to try to get everything moved over this month so that both addresses work. Then during May and June let people use either address with a reminder at the top of each page if they're still using the .org address. Then shut off access to the .org address a month early (July). That way if there are any problems with shutting off access, we can turn it back on temporarily while we troubleshoot them. (If we wait until August and then find out there are problems, we're dead in the water!)

Thanks for doing the news. I was exhausted (and hadn't gotten around to eating dinner yet) when I saw your post last night.

I went to the new site and got logged in, but its not keeping logged in. As soon as I go to a new page its wants me to login again.

: The cookies still said "subetalodge.org" on them, so they weren't being recognized by the new URL. There'll be little glitches like that for a while. Most of the links inside the CMS are hard-coded to the old URL, for example, and I'll have to migrate them over.

I was able to log in to both the main site and the forums under the new .us address. I'll keep an eye out for anything wonky and report back.

Fixed all the official items from this thread: Should Probably Rename These. Still need to keep an eye on the CWs in the list. They haven't been fixed yet.

- Thanks for the info about the site move. I wanted to let you know that I tried to add the newest round of CWs from Wednesday with no luck on the overlays or item images.

The rare times I enter CWs I don't add face tags. I didn't think we added face tags to CW, just official items?

To the best of my recollection, we don't add face tags to the CWs. We can do it going forward if you guys want.

I would say that would be eyes if we decide to do it, since it's meant to go on eyes.

I think the only CWs that get notes or anything (that I often forget to do) are masks to note if they work for dancing.

I don't particularly care one way or the other. Since Reaper is the one who mostly deals with CW, I'd say she should get the most say since she would get the brunt of the extra work.

If we want to do them, that's fine with me. We can definitely do it going forward and I can work on catching up the older stuff when I have time. It would make it more in line with the rest of the info we have for site items at least.

When we added face tags to the official items you ran a script to add them to the old stuff, how difficult would it be to do the same for CWs?

I just checked and there's over 2200 face layer items, that would take forever to get done manually.

- Another update for you. I added the new clothing item from the free shop. The item image was added, but not the overlay.

I think I've finally got a work-around for your issue. Next time you add clothing items -- add them the way you always have. There's a new link on the add items page to fix the images after you've added the items. Click on that link -- it'll require pasting the source code from the wardrobe with the new items in it -- but it should be able to fix any broken images from the first pass.

I'm blanking here. I don't think I wrote a script that added any tags at all. I wrote a script that let people page through just the face-layer items and tag them. I can definitely do that again and include the CW's.

Was that what you wanted? edit: If so, I've made a change to the edit tags page that lets you navigate through CWs the same way you navigate through regular clothes.

That sounds fine. I don't remember exactly what happened with the tags, just remember it took less time than I expected :).

: The earliest CW item on the face layer that isn't already tagged is Amorous Daily Liquid Makeup. When someone edits its face tags, there are links at the bottom of the page to go to the next or previous CW on the face layer. I figure if we have someone working from each end towards the middle, it wouldn't take that long.
