yeah, but I'm a skinflint and don't want to buy one :P Also, his wife made their wedding invitations, so I figured a homemade card would be better ;)

laughs it works perfectly together! :D

Oh, now that is a lovely bg and lovely use of it. the colors are stunning. :)

Ohhh, another lovely HA! Love the new mask you have there, didnt realize it layered like that. I like it!

I have a few of those too.. What is your favorite mag? I love the norwegian copies of Mollie Makes. :)

Thats true.. knit and crochet patterns tend to take some time. :K A pair of crochet baby booties might work? I seen so many adorable ones.. free patterns. Even cowboy boots for the lil ones. lol

not the way I do it - I just print off onto a blank card, and we got them pretty cheap laughs :P Thanks :D I wanted to match the tones of the mask.... although the colour picker doesn't have any shades for that one yet :K

Thanks! I was surprised to see the mask was worn on the head laughs but it's quite nice for a change to not have one covering the eyes :D I've got several back copies of Simply Knitting, Simply Crochet, and Lets Get Crafting: Knitting & Crochet laughs and of course a few sewing magazines as well ;) In the end, I pulled out the patterns I wanted to keep, and just slipped those into a folder to make it easier to store them ;)

That's true - I'll have a look & see if I can find some nice soft yarn first, as I think the acrylic yarn I have will be a bit too harsh for that, but booties could definitely work :D

Impulse buys are awesome. I am a sucker for those shades of red... so yup. Excuse me while I drool. :D

I have seen some of those in stores here that imports magazines from around the world. They tend to be pricey tho... so I rarely pick them up. Plus easier not having to translate the patterns. :P

Was thinking booties doesnt have to take too long to make and you wont need a huge amount of yarn either. ^_^ I demand pictures of whatever you made. Baby stuff is too cute!

nods the Lets Get Crafting one is 7.99 but it does come with the yarn to make one project, so that makes it a bit more bearable. Most of them are about 6 pounds though :K I did just find a baby jacket that claims to be "speedy knit - make in an hour", knitted in chunky yarn, so that might work too :D I'll definitely put any pics up of anything I make :D :D

laughs printing the card off from the computer saves a lot of hassle with gluing things onto the card too ;) :P

Even more expensive if its imported. :K I have enough mags and books to keep me plenty busy for a long time. Not to mention bookmarks on my computer. I am so slow finishing things anyways since I dont knit or crochet everyday. lol I would have trouble finding super chunky yarn here tho.. most seem to be regular yarn or thin. :K

Yay for pics. :D I mailed your bday gift last week, so hopefully it will get there soon-ish. :) You can open the envelope if you want as the present is wrapped. ^_^

I feel like changing mine. This one is boring. Maybe a project for later tonight if inspirations hits me.

only trouble is, Mum seems to think it's simple just to "find a picture to use", and that can be a nightmare at times! :P

That is pretty fast. :O I believe I went to the post office last wed or thursday!

Still plenty of time. I will be gone from April 9-16th. My landlord will bring in the mail tho, so that should not be a problem. ^_^

I really should start buying from it soon. lol

That's faster than a lot of mail sent from the UK to the UK! I'm hoping to get it sent out later this week, so it should arrive quite early (that gives our postal service the chance to take it on the scenic route!) ;)

Always good to know that it made it there well ahead. :D

Sorry about the ugly envelope again... I am using up some of the prestamped one I have laying around. :P They also have an adress printed on them- so I have to cover that up. lol

hehe no worries - I usually reuse the envelopes I get, as they're perfectly fine to be posted again ;) I usually cover the address with a folded piece of paper, just to make sure they don't get delivered back here by mistake! ;)

One of these days I think I'll get Mum to find the picture for herself - then she can realise just how challenging it can be! :P

LOL You are the subeta cyborg after all. xD

It saves a bit of money. :nods: Figured the stuff inside were more important than a pretty envelope. :P Hopefully you will like what I sent you. ^_^

I heard you can mail a brick, if you write an adress on it. Sounds like a great prank. :P or slow wayt to build a house. :P
