For obvious reasons, it wouldn't make sense to offer the Autopricer for sP. But what about the "Lowest Price" feature that GAs have? If you need to hand-price items, it would save time as you wouldn't have to Shop Search every item, then change the price. I'm not entirely sure how popular this would be, but for me, I would pay for this feature! It isn't exactly like Autopricer but similar enough to benefit users.

Make items in the Subeautique more expensive? I know I would pay a little more for those items. Up the price and slightly up the amount that restock at once.

Some way to get Referral shop items for sP, perhaps limited-time-only releases?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, but some way to buy reading drive prizes whether it be the formation of cards like the epicon point cards or just turned into a second MC. For that matter, we have vintage epicon point cards but no 2013 ones, correct?

I had another idea. The zapper has that feature for just experiments, what about another feature just to change colors at random? Charge more for it, I'd still use it.

Yep, I'd definitely use the color-change zap feature. I'm sure I'm not the only one zapping a pet to get those color achs! And epicon!!!!!!!! please. <3

I actually prefer to use the lowest shop price shown rather than the actual autopricer when I have a GA because there are some items I value at higher than their current lowest shop price and want to hold on to, or just have so many of that I'd rather keep them for the recycle beast unless someone is willing to pay more than a recycle point costs me. So I would love to be able to get that. But then, I'm not sure how much would be too much there as I wouldn't want paying for the feature to outweigh the profits coming from my shop. If the price approached anywhere near csc I'd probably just buy a GA.

I like the idea of adding a couple sP/csc combo pet slots, especially if the sP cost increases each time. I don't think starting at 100m is too unreasonable and scaling by 25-50m each time. Everytime there's new pet colours, the people with maxed out slots always say "ohh so pretty, gimme more pet slots!!!". I think they'd be willing to pay the premium.

[edit]

Perhaps a good idea for sP sinks, have a random event sort of like the tempest random event, only instead of giving you an item it gives you access to a shop, sort of like the MC, but with just a few items that would be specific to that shop, and allows you to buy one item. The event would have to be fairly rare and the items somehow useful to keep their value above whatever the pre-determined shop price would be. And also, for a game like the crypts, where at the end you get one reward shop point but the reward shop also charges sP in addition to that point. If that was done with the crypts to begin with, the items would have retained value much better while still increasing the amount on site :D. It's essential that these would be done in such a way that they remain profitable of course.

[li] A sP shop that is like the token shop. Limited quantity, buy it quickly, etc.

[li] Referral Points

The site has put some of the items in the token shop before. Why not just put them in the millionaire centre for a very very short duration (and it can be a very limited amount too, or added the sP shop idea above).

Something that was mentioned on the Let's Fix the Economy!! thread a couple times was an antique shop-esque store for Delish lines and/or retired CS items. This is something that I personally (and I doubt I'm the only one) would sink quite a bit of sp into.

they/them/theirs, please.

I'd pay sP for more guesses on leviathan harpooning, because that game is horrid. or pay for a leviathan counter.

I personally would throw sP at training boosters (duration reduction)/ sidebar themes/ limited edition collectibles, and pet related enhancement/improvements/achievements etc.

Everything is better than taxes, lol, but don't get me wrong I'm not against the idea if it's what necessary to stabilize the eco.

a sinkhole which you can throw varying amounts of sp into and sometimes/rarely/probably never get out really old/expensive items/cash shop items (kinda like the trash can, but you put sp in)

This is kind of taking from gaia (and obviously we don't want to do too much of that lol) but what about some sort of kickstart or goal to get event? Have rewards for different levels: like, donate 500,000 to the cause and you get a sticker, 1,000,000 and you get a plushie, etc

And because so many are mentioning old retired CS items that are no longer on the market or are very rare to find, have those towards the upper levels; the more you donate, the more you get. And that way if you don't want to participate, you still don't have to, but I think depending on the prizes many people will.

Retired Subeta holidays items shop - the % of the tax will be different depend on the year of the release, the higher % tax for year 1 and so on, put all the items there (excluding crystal shop items) and let us buy them.

I prefer to spend 35mil on an item and to take those sp out of the system instead of 35mil from a user shop and this money will stay at the system, and it's a lot of money, this is one of the reasons why I don't buy 10mil+ retired items that I need..

Because The Economy Is Broken, Let&;s Fix It Together!! has been locked.

I saw some talk about some csc features turning into sp features: I would totally pay sp for autotraining and uploading pet overlays.

Actually, didn't Neurogalaxy have some sort of sink hole that you threw money into and could get a battle challenger from? There were two of them, and they gave out exp at a decent rate. I remember farming the heck out of them. They were helpful for lower level pets, but still decent for higher ones. Maybe a sink hole that depending how much money you throw in, would give you a chance at a challenger for exp? Like, 1-50k is a tier 1 challenger 50-100k is tier 2 challenger 100k-150k is a tier 3 challenger and so on. Not sure how much exp they would give out... maybe not TOO much so that people don't farm them to get to the cap too fast. But I think if they still ALWAYS gave out exp it might be worth it. I know I spent a LOT of time at that hole on NG.

have subeta/sp based gofundme for certain projects like pet colors or species or ideas or wahtnot.

Obviously things like these have to already be on the subeta project road map or things staff are already willing to do. AKA projects are staff decided not user decided.

Projects that hit sp quotas get moved up priority lists. For example, the minion zoo may not hit quotas but the wardrobe ones do, so wardrobe gets prioritized.

actually, idk. potentially too complicating or politics involved.

Rip anything battle related unless a few people step up and donate a lot to outweigh the wardrobe people

Potential popularity contest problems there where smaller segments of the site get ignored, which may not be 100% bad.

I don't think it's a bad idea though, I remember reading a thread or at least a few posts about this idea I think.

THIS.

By adding sPs options to CSC features, in theory, wouldn't it stabilize CSC sold in user shops?

well, probably, but staff have stated that they do not wish to create an "official" exchange rate between sP and CSC, and would rather leave it up to users and the economy to organically determine the value of CSC in relation to sP. if they said, for instance, auto-training costs 25 CSC or 1 million sP, that would basically create an official exchange rate of 100 CSC = 4 million sP.

in some regards, this could be a good thing to avoid ridiculous inflation or devaluation, but on the other hand, the cost of CSC reacts naturally to the economy and so i don't think it's necessary to do something like that.

True...once sPs gains value again, it will obviously deflate the CSC being sold in user shops.

I've already posted this over in the Site Feedback thread, but I figured it might be useful here as well:

For people who are interested in pet related things: maybe a color that is tied to an NPC, and which you'd have to pay SP directly to the NPC to acquire?

I know there was a thread not too long ago where people were asking for more recolors. Maybe we could do a little event where there could be like a new character on Subeta who's an "starving artist". He wants to research a new pet color, but he needs a certain amount of sp by a certain period of time or else he can't fund the research. It could be like a Quest-a-thon thing, except the goal is to donate as much sp as possible within a certain period.

If the sp donation goals are reached, he stays in Subeta and comes out with a recolor. You can go to him to have your pet recolored for a certain fee. An optional add-on would be so that each new recolor option, he needs another period of massive funding like the original event.

Here's an example to illustrate my idea: Artist comes into Subeta. Offers a turquoise recolor, but needs like 500mil sp (or whatever amount) Once 500mil is donated to him, he stays in Subeta and offers 500k sp (or whatever amount) turquoise recolors. Next, the artist decides he wants to research an amber color. He needs another 500mil for initial research, and afterwards, people can get amber recolors for 500k.
