Have you ever worked on something for hours then days on end because you stumbled across a tutorial that showed you how to make it? And even then only because you thought it might work for "SKITTERS CAN UPGRADE TO APARTMENT IN THE SKUH-EYE" which is the only reference to one of his quips after you buy something that I could find..

I did. I saved it as png but I dont know if that's what they do or not, and now Im terrified to submit it because I don't want anyone to laugh at me.

The only thing I would say is that when you resized it you didn't maintain perspective. See how the moon is squished to an oval shape? And I personally think the moon part is the most interesting part, but if you use and HA it will cover that section. My suggestion would be to cut off the right some and make it so the moon/castle are more to the right side of the HA. Well, our right side.

No, the tutorial had images that you cut out bits of, masking, layering, coloring, it took me days to do. But I made that, yeah.

That is truly amazing. But I disagree with georgie, I like the squashed perspective look, though I do agree the moon should be more to the side. Also its a great idea for skitter's sky apartment (or whatever the hell he's talking about).

I would say that it is legal. If I remember right the rules says you can't trace art - and you didn't. Tracing means taking a complete image and just drawing over it. What you've done is far more complex and doesn't take a single image and copy it. Another person could take the same steps, do the same tutorial and come out with a completely different image.

I swear I've got over 50 layers in the original, it took me days to complete it, but I would die if I got iced. I like how it turned out. But if I got frozen because it's from a tutorial I think I would die.

Then submit a ticket and ask. LOL they can't freeze you for asking. I also don't think they would freeze you for submitting, they would just reject the submission, I think.

If I am reading the tutorial correctly, you downloaded images and cut bits and pieces and put them together and recolored them? I mean, I know that is really over-simplified. But I think if you are using drawings or photos done by someone else you are not allowed to submit it. I mean, poor sentence structure there, but yeah. I am pretty sure if you did not actually draw it yourself it is not "legal". It is gorgeous and I would love to have it on site.

Oh, my other things is...there does not seem to be any ground to stand on. If I remember correctly backgrounds all have something for the ha to stand on rather than be in front of, if that makes sense.

@ Georgie I know, so do I and that was because I was stuck in a battle and lost my temper so I hit F5 a dozen times. That's not against any rules except keyboard abuse. I almost passed out when that happened. There were dozens of us they did that to.

oh I know you weren't doll, dozens of battlers got caught up in that bs and far as I k ow none of us stayed frozen, it was the site that went wonky all we were trying to do was battle the big war boss. I'm super careful tho, that feeling even when you know you didn't do anything wrong makes you sick to your stomach.

That's too bad, and glad you submitted a ticket to be sure. Their definition is a lot stricter than mine about what constitutes 'drawing'.

There are a lot more talented artists around then I ever dreamed possible, cuz to draw it by hand.. not gonna happen, lol

What do you think of the new BQs? I was really surprised to see "level 31" waiting for me after midnight, I guess. I am really curious what it is going to be seeing as how I already had impossible challengers. I was happy to get 3 impossible tokens!
