Good job! I can't quite seem to get mine adjusted right. I loosened it and it felt better, but I took it off in my sleep again :(. Hopefully I'll adjust and eventually stop doing that. It still helps, even when I take it off in my sleep, the numbness is not as bad or long lasting.

Maybe you should try an ace bandage for when you sleep? Tricky to get the tension right but less likely to take it off in your sleep/

And complicated doesn't bar me from doing it in my sleep. One of my favourite tricks I do in my sleep is to turn my blanket sideways. This is truly weird because the blanket is between a sheet and a comforter and I manage to turn it completely sideways without disturbing either the sheet or the comforter and keep it fully covering me. Drives my boyfriend nuts because he simply can't figure out how I manage to do it - both such that it ends up perfect and I don't wake either of us while doing it. LOL he's tried to "trick" me by putting it sideways to start with, but on those nights I simply end up making it straight instead. I can't even figure out why I turn my blanket in my sleep, its just plain weird.

That is totally bizarre~! Do you have the blanket tucked in at the bottom?

I usually don't - but my boyfriend has also tried doing that to stop me and it has no effect. However, anytime I sleep in a tucked in bed, I end up untucked, whether or not I turn the blanket.

are you very tall? My husband is 6'4 and he was always untucking inadvertently. It drove me nuts. To the point where I finally started sewing the top and bottom sheets together at the end. Of course, then he ended up just pulling the whole thing off the end. Never did find a good solution. Well, maybe I did in leaving him. :x

No, I'm not all that tall. I just hate feeling 'confined' to the bed by tucked in sheets. I've always been a very active sleeper and when I was younger used to kick the covers off my feet because I was always too hot. Now that I'm old and decrepit I feel the cold more and don't do that, but still don't like being tucked in.

JSYK you can now take off your skin in the beta wardrobe and get reinfected.

and I havent found a single person to bite so that's what I'm gonna do. I give up on getting the bite one this year - unless we can keep biting after the event which I doubt.

I think it all depends on your strain. Butterfly bruise was very popular so there were lots of people wanting to be bit by "my" disease. I couldn't find a forum with those wanting my new one which is bubble jelly. As to your strain, I have no idea what it is even called.

Yep, Ive got what she said - and Im so confused about the achievement this time, they're usually not this difficult to get. I havent found a single person to bite. Its too frustrating to keep looking, with the lag so forum topics dont open and by the time they do, everyone's already infected. I love my achievements but this one isnt worth the frustration.

I went for the biting achievement at the very start of the vent when a lot of people were looking for infections, there were at least 3 threads of people asking for a boobitis bite and I had so many to bite it was a little overwhelming. But at least I got the achievement done. Sorry you're having so much trouble.

The survival event is geared toward zombies first, I get that. I accept that even, lol. But they have made this so complicated without letting any of us know how it worked until we had already gone to the Voluenteer place that I actually am giving up. I have not bitten a single person and Ive tried finding someone to bite for hours on end since I reached the stage where I could. I don't have a problem with having to work to gain an achievement but this is way beyond that. If I had known that rule earlier I could have saved myself 2 and a half days of maddening frustration and aggravation hunting topic after topic for someone uninfected.

So I'm done trying. Im going after skins instead.

Yeah, I'm kinda glad I was out for valentine's dinner when the event started. At the time, I was sorry to be starting late, but it did give me the advantage of other people already having figured out the basics and saying it would be best to deal with the achievement first, if you were an old zombie.

I won't be able to start on my next skin until tomorrow. Not sure what I'm going to try for...but I'm thinking of going for the shark-like one.

@ Lypsyl The only person I should blame is me, we all know how things go during events and just about everything else here. They love to change the rules as things move along and jumping in right away is never a good idea. But I did it anyway instead of finding out what was going on. That under the table rule is what's got me mad, to have to find someone who didnt "pick" what virus they wanted.. they could have said something in the beginning about that so we knew how diminished our chance at getting the achievement would be and gone for previous year ones instead
