Is anyone else having problems with the ping button not working? I have clicked and clicked it and it does not ping you guys...

Yes, it seems sticky? At first I thought it was a repeat of the time I couldn't post, because the same thing happened. But this is different, eventually it will put the ping in. Probably easier just to type it in though...but habits are hard to break.

Yeah...I have to keep saving, or at least try not to get below the 1B mark. I want to see if I can get together with others to get the richest user achievement, but it occurred to me that would work really well in combination with the Account Worth achievements - unfortunately that achievement is down. So how long do I wait to start spending freely, vs keeping a billion around, in the faint hope that they'll fix account worth within the next few months?

With my luck, I'll wait and wait, get sick of waiting and work out the richest user. A week later they'll fix account worth!

Also, you worked with other people to get the richest user didn't you? How did you guys work that out - collateral? Did you have a minimum sP amount to participate? And how much sP do you need - the most ever, or just beat the amount listed on the "About" page (which is in the range of 34B right now)?

When I got it the richest user was MUCH lower. I can't remember anymore how much it was but it was under 20 billion for sure. The people I went together with, we were all friends so we didn't worry about collateral. In the passing around of funds though, I ended up losing several hundred million that I never got back, which really sucked. The person who was responsible for losing it was a "friend" that we all realized later really only talked to us when we had something she wanted. :/ She is not here anymore, frozen account. But she never even offered to split the difference with me. And I never told the rest of the group because I knew they would have insisted on making it right and it was not their fault.

The moral of the story is, if you do it, go in with a good plan and make sure everyone knows the rules!

It helped that we were all on msn chat together.

I think the last group that did it was started by nonchalant though it could have been klassikal....

As far as account worth goes, I have not been able to get that page to load for years now. I am surprised with all the items you ahve hoarded that it ever loaded for you.

I have several "rules" in mind. First, you would need at least 1 billion to join in (this is a point I'm debating, because it might not be possible to find enough people willing and able to make it). That won't eliminate scam artists, but should help ensure that its only serious players who have actually made an effort already. Then when we pass around funds, I want to control it all - so I set up a trade for person 1, they trigger their achievement, then trade the sp back to me and I send it to the next on the list. Way more work for me, but much harder to scam that way. Also plan on having people send round numbers - if I can get 35 people in on it, for example, then we each pass around exactly 1B. That would cut down on real (and scammed) accidents.

I would like to add in collateral, but I'm not sure how to make that work - I mean if I'm sending someone 35B, there simply is nothing worth that kind of sP - and if there was, how do I sell it and recoup the funds???? Asking for collateral worth anything less than a billion is pointless.

Also are there trade limits? Would I have to break it up into several trades?

And then there's the issue of people having to trust me as well as everyone else on the list. What do I do if someone does try to scam us? I mean I can complain and probably get them frozen but I doubt that would get our funds back. It would kill me to have to tell people...sorry but your sP is gone, and you don't even have an achievement to show for it.

I would absolutely make the rule that they each have to have no less than a billion to join. And make sure they only contribute round numbers. Having to keep track of all those odd numbers would be a pain in the arse. Yes, you would have to have multiple trades. I would set each trade for 2 billion, keeping it rounded. You can not trade more than that 2billionwhatever number. And keeping track of odds, again, no bueno. And each person has to deposit the sp in their vault before accepting another trade. It is a lot to track. Not trying to discourage you, just fair warning.

Definitely want to at least give some months for them to get the account value working again because if I'm doing that much work, I'd like to get more than 1 achievement out of it.

I would be willing to go in on it if the account worth was working. HERE is the bragging topic about that group getting it. I can't find the topic where they were asking for people to join, though. But some of these people might be able to give you more current info on getting it

Hey'all =) So.. um, about the newest contest - if you cant really draw but have photoshop so you can maybe make like anime eyes cuz of a tutorial, would you do it? I dont see any achievement but with tutorials I can get things to look ok. The only thing I've ever made are eyes tho.

My fingernail moons are normal. But I do have a weird red band between the end of the nail and the nail bed. I brought it up with my doc a couple a years ago, because it was a change from what my fingernails had looked like before. At that time he did test me for some deficiencies and found none. I'm not certain if B12 was tested then or not, but I'm guessing not and that may be the cause behind it. I'll see if it goes away as my labs normalize (if they do).
