I know but ugh! It was kind of weird getting dressed and not layering things under the skin to make them lighter. Things like makeup. Going to have to relearn how to not use that technique now!

I was reading the comments on the news post and someone was talking about layering the V.2 skin over dyed skin - I'm really looking forward to testing that out!

dyed skin? Like the zapper skins or something else entirely? I started looking at the news comments but there are like 250 of them.

I wonder....if we cure and get a new zombie skin will we get to keep both the old and the new?

Edit: It seems that simply trying on one of your skins automagically makes your HA wear it even without having saved the HA that way.

From the tanning salon - which I haven't been able to use in ages. And yes, if they ever do another zombie event, or as a prize, we'll be able to acquire and change our skin like we currently do hair styles in the salon.

Not entirely worthless. There are still only 25 on site and its an interesting item that we will have to relearn how to use effectively. But I never intended to sell it anyway.

I haven't had much of chance to play in the wardrobe yet. I've had an out of province friend staying at my place for the past few days and have only been able to get online for short periods of time. I'll be busy catching up on real life stuff I've been neglecting while my friend was in town, so I won't be able to indulge today or tomorrow either. Sigh...I want to play!!

I just found out that my best uncle had open heart surgery last night and they found a tumor behind his heart. They had to close him up without doing anything. They don't expect him to make it through the night. I may end up going to Ohio. IDK. I feel like I should and I want to. But I have never driven that far by myself. Or done a funeral alone either. I might just stay home and cry. IDK what to do. Someone tell me!

How far away is Ohio from you now? Are you able to drive that far? Will you be upset with yourself if you don't go?

Those are all questions you need to ask yourself and see if that helps.

The town they live in is about 4 hours away. Which is definitely doable. Except...I have hardly driven in 15 years. I am driving around here, of course. But mostly the same routes whenever I have to go somewhere. I only drove to Johwnstown, which require highway/traffic driving, one time. And I was really really nervous. And that was only 20 - 30 minutes away. :/

you make good points. I guess a lot of it is going to depend on the weather. I mean, he is still alive and may rally. But probably not. I guess I just can't really make a real decision until the time comes.

Yeah, if you're already nervous, bad weather can make it seem impossible.

Maybe you should look at what exactly makes you nervous and steps you can take ahead of time to help you feel more confident. There's not much you can do about your lack of recent driving experience, I haven't driven much over the past few years either, so I know how that feels, but there are other things you can do. Break down all the different aspects of the drive and see what makes you most nervous. For example, if you are afraid you will get lost, map out your trip using google maps or something like it. Maybe check out travel apps you can add to your phone.

When I'm nervous about something, I find that if I can look at the task from a different angle, or break it down into smaller steps, it gets more manageable.

I am still sitting here. No new news. We have had snow off and on over the past few days though.
