I can not believe I missed an entire boss! I've never missed being part of a boss battle and with it showing up in prime time for the battlers on our side of the globe there's no way I'll be able to catch up.

No clue what went wrong, cable went out around mid-afternoon which takes both internet and wifi with it. Because our provider is the only one in the area and has "normal business hours" the only thing you got trying to contact them was a recording and the option to leave a message. Why it's back to normal at such a late hour I have no idea but for most of the afternoon and all evening the modem/router flashed pointlessly.

Nothing I could do, I didn't want to use up any of Bug's data plan, she needs that for when she's out in the field so I sat here and pouted for most of the day. Tomorrow I'm going to tell everyone Im not going to be home, I gotta at least try to make a decent showing.

I did the same as you Eric, it got too late and I needed sleep so I gave up around 2, 230.

That is a spot of bad luck. :( Thunderstorms make mine go out a lot, but I have never really have it just stop working for no reason.

I'll miss out on a lot of today's fight because of family. Sunday dinner at noon and then swimming/playing until the kids go home around 3 or 4.

Oh Im pretty sure we figured out exactly what happened. My son saw the "city department" working on a fire hydrant outside the little garage that's Arvig's local business residence. We live in bum-phuck Egypt, these guys arent trained in anything, let alone how to replace a hydrant. The cable guys arent much better, they thought my daughters I-Pad was an oversized cellphone first time they saw it. Such is small town life, we also have deer that walk down the street and so have cows. I slept most of the evening so I dont know when it came back up but I'll bet it was when they finally got things dried out.

I was so mad, I like being in the top prize winners circle lol

Georgie I can't see where it would make a lot of difference if prizes are point based so we can get whatever we want from the shop but if prizes are handed out that's a whole 'nother ballgame. The "Snow Fairy Sticker" incident for example

I hope prizes/points won't depend on having to get the top achievements because, for once, I haven't been able to. I still need a bunch of ghosts and I only managed to get to lvl 41 for pete.

I think I did more harm than good in the second fight. That sometimes healed more than the damage I was able to do. It healed more than 3K a few times, and I did anywhere between 250-1800 damage in a round. It would depend on how many times it healed in the 3K range and how many rounds I lasted in the battle.

One of the things I appreciate about living in a mid-sized city is the fact that all services are 24h. So when the cable/internet/power etc go out in the middle of the night, the service is usually back within an hour, most often within minutes. A little slower than during "working hours" but not much. Sorry you have to deal with that frustration.

I heard it doesn't matter. It's all about damage you do instead of what it heals so every little bit of damage helps. :) Helps your event prizes too! :P

I dont think so, not this time, I'm a solid 75/100 battles behind if not more. What I need to do is stop pondering why it seems my damage being delt has been messed with and battle but I cant lol

I thought I understood how battling worked but today I'm not so sure. I don't like my main attackers having a wide range of possible damage so I picked 2 weapons that would deal a solid number of icons as my main attackers - Tainted Keeper Skull Staff and Cronus Blade.

Im using the usual "Keep it on ice" strategy, using scrolls ect to keep it frozen and it dawned on me that the damage I'm doing isn't consistent which makes no sense to me.

I get that if your defense is greater than, equal to or lesser than your strength the Staff deals slightly different attacks/blockers but that doesn't make any difference. The Lady has more Str so her icon count remains the same. 44 Same as the blade.

So together they deal 88 icons. The spirit creature is frozen, it can't do anything, right? Then how can my damage delt range from the 1600s to 3k? And when I get a lucky hit with the Ballista (116 just recently) and it's pared with the Blade why in the heck did it only do 3024 icons?! It makes no sense, that's 150 icons hitting a pissy spirit on ice.

I've hit harder with a tap the ballista and the staff or blade then with them together. It just doesnt make sense to me. Its most likely some variable I'm too tired to see - but that doesn't stop me from trying to figure it out XD I need sleep lol!

I did get to participate.. Managed all but the level 15 achievements, completed 14 several times but could not get 15 done..

Missed a couple of hours on the 1st (work), caught the 2nd and dozed while trying to battle the 3rd.. 253 battles in total.. Don't think it will get me in the top battlers..

New island has appeared on the map and weapon is in the ID building..

Maybe true, but you guys all hit harder so I need to get more in to have any hope of getting around what you all do..

Missed getting in the top group for the Tempest and not by a whole lot, thought I was going to be further away, so wanted to give it my best shot this time.. Decided to go for the achievements in between 2 and 3 rather than sleep but should have slept.. Apparently not only the games will be staying but the achievements too...

According to Rah new land will get shop/s etc. in the next/in a couple of days..

Well I got 86 pts and the total prize shop seems to be 91 pts. Not too bad, unless I want doubles, I haven't really looked at stuff yet.
