Yeah the loss of reflecting was the first time battle really bummed me out. The first lesson in wastage. I'd scrimped and saved and spent (at that time) ridiculous amounts on a great reflecting weapon. Built my whole set around that and was doing really well in battle. Then got fucked around because they removed reflecting, and it really wasn't very long after I got my set up and spent millions on my blade. A blade now worth diddly squat! Had to ditch it all and start over, with the sick feeling that I shouldn't spend much because it might all go to shit again...and sure enough it did. After that I just plain gave up. If I managed to acquire something good, like the Temple Shard in the cheapest way possible, then great, otherwise I simply wouldn't spend anything on battle other than training.

Also something you might be able to answer that I haven't been able to figure out. If I block 10 fire icons, and my opponent attacks me with 2 different weapons, say 15 fire and 9 fire, do they get added together, 24, then subtract my defense, or do I get 15-10 and 9-10? Or does my defense get used up blocking the highest, or the first? Or some other weirdness?

I've tried using some more complex weapons, some sets can build on each other if you have more than one, or some potions, etc. But it was just too complicated to figure out and not getting consistent results didn't help at all. So much happens in the background!

Congratulations!! I got caught up in setting things right for scale weapons and making sure I've got all weapon notes filled in (still caught up in it) or I would be doing the same - what weapons ya using?

I'm not big on the huge gap in attacks but when the ballista hits I love it too xD

you didnt kill the chatter, while redoing the stat booster list one of the guys helping me (who didnt know I was that Laurie pointed out that blackmoons clover was listed as restocking in the magic shop. I said I can fix that and he joked if you can fix that, can you make the right info show up for weapons?

I was like ohmygod what is he talking about!? and I asked him. I totally dropped the ball with weapons, they're so complex that most of the recently created ones need a wall of text in weapon notes and I hadn't done anything with them except add them to the database. When I start a project it's all I focus on.

thanks! I used the usual blaster/stealer combo along with the usual healers as needed. For weapons I only used the cronus blade and the ostaff with the thunderball thrown in when things were looking bad. I used the newest scroll....triple threat I think? and the holy deluge after the first round. the first round i used the shriek of despair but that was the only time I could freeze him, her, it...them?

I only needed to heal during battles three and four. I had the rainbow vortex in case I needed an extra save but never used it.

as for the new background..l.I still think about my husband somewhere between 100 and 5000 times a day. :/ still dream about him too. OI feel you.

It's never easy when partners part ways. I would give anything for a legal mind erase so it didnt hurt.

I need a break before sinking my teeth into figuring out the combo sets accurate info so I took your advice, wasn't nearly as pretty but I finally got the 5th win

LOL I'm good. I stayed up until 5am in hopes of a restock and managed to pick one up then.

MD appt this am - I'm off the good drug for now. My MD is worried because the good drugs can affect my kidneys, so he doesn't want me taking them. I'm trying a new drug, this one doesn't affect the kidneys. But its a slow start and even if it works as well as the last one, I expect to be in more pain for the next few days until it kicks in. I'm trying it for the next two weeks.
